You are a seriously good vocalist Austin...delivered like a pro...I`m betting you will have absolutely no trouble finding collaborators on this one...very well done....Ed
This is mainstream stuff Luizor...wouldn`t be out of place on commercial radio...really good job on the vocals..Others would likely tell you the opposite, but I would actually pull the kick back just a little softer to let the vocal & instruments sit more clearly in the mix...a big well done to you...you have a good one going on here...Ed
Behnam...I am having a great day here this Saturday...what a wonderful happy sounding music composition...strings and piano are great company for one another and you have taken a very controlled, subtle approach to the melody parts (is that a mandolin you are using?)...this is a fav for me Behnam...thank you...she stopped laughing very suddenly at the end.....well done my friend.....Ed
many thnx Ed for attention & such a warm feedback .
yes that was the first & last time I was playing mandolin in a trial & i think I've played it a bit extra forte (Wayne is needed to share his idea about my mandolin playing) .and haha cool explanation U've mentioned I've designed that mandolin as her laughing symbole & that saddenly stop is due to as the name shows I'm reminding & reviewing in my mind the way she laughs & when she was laughing the world was stopping for me for a while ( smile !)..& also that was the way to back to main theme's tonality after imperceptible altration which happens by bent notes of mandolin to paint laughing ...master i should have an exclussive appreciation from U about this one cause your warm feedback in acidplanet about this made me to think this is suitable for upload here in my only active page in internet . many many thnx & all the bests.___B
Yeah....bagpipes....I`ve used them (at least loops & samples) in quite a few Celtic type mixes (not posted on the Loop) evisma....I`m diggin your musical imagination here....and actually the whole thing sounds pretty friggin good to me my friend....you should dust that Squier off more often and give it a little love...It`ll give it back....good rock going on here and I enjoyed it...not sure what you would want to change but I think its just fine as is....If I had to get everything perfect I would never have anything to post.....keep on....Ed
That deep bass and haunting synth sound keep it on the dark side Cyber...(and the evil voice of course)...but that little lighter/higher sounding arp gives it more of a mysterious feel....Definiteoly is the kind of mix that would go great with the right kind of video or game scene...and the minimal approach just adds to the mysterious vibe of the whole thing...you have a unique style...enjoyed this one....Ed
I came home from a younger brother`s funeral a number of years ago and sat down with the guitar and a recorder to do the same thing tv (he was many times the guitar player I will ever be)...when I listen later.. like your tune...it is not really sad....just carries the emotion of the moment (and there are many)...music does indeed have therapudic value (I`ve used for that purpose most of my life)...Condolences on your loss tv..I know there are no words that really provide comfort...yet we try to convey what we can.....all the best...Ed
Hi Johnny...just getting back to you on that video thing...had it on my youtube channel for a while but took it down a while back..Its a big file but I do have a squashed down Flash Video copy thats under 13 mb (not good quality) I would be happy to send you if you like...just message me if you want..my youtube, soundcloud etc stuff is under my studio (WestTracksMusic) banner...keep on...Ed
I think I root about 90% of what I do in minor keys Spiv...for some reason they just seem to hold more character or something...great job on the vocal in this one...it caught me as a little Bowie like when you first kicked it in...when you get this many musical elements & movements into the mix it sure takes the industrial genre to a place that appeals to the ear a lot more quickly than the mixes that focus a lot of the noise/machine parts (I know I`m not expressing this well)...but suffice to say..its makes for good listening for guys like me who are not too up on things...another great track...one of you best I think......Ed
Thanks my friend for stopping by! I don't want to think what this song would've been if it were in a major key...lol! Thanks for the compiment on the vocals! Been compared with Bowie, Ian Curtis, and Trent Reznor already with this track, and those are all big influences for me, so it means a lot! I know what you mean about the noise/machine style industrial, I guess that's never been my favorite style. I think things like that are best left to genres like minimal, noise, and glitch. Thanks much for your support!
You have some really nice musical accompaniment for a Hardcore track EYEDYE...I like the concept and I think you are off to a good start here (well done on the lyrics too)..keep on doing it....If you like a little more reverb on your vocal (and thats a metter of personal taste)...set a long predelay on the reverb you are using after you have it close to where you want....the predelay sets the amount of time before the reverb kicks in, so vocal can be more distinct....well done...Ed
Well...if its weird...then I really like weird DESTRO...mainly Spanish vibe I think with the guitar & percussion but its brilliantly good in any genre you want to post it...great job....keep on....Ed
Hi Johnny....I hope by now you aware that you have a special talent...I hope you keep feeding it and doing your music...My impressions are from several things...the compositional thinking and choice of instrumentation....the expressiveness in the playing and the way you use the spaces (as well as the notes themselves)..the way your tune carries the theme that was in your mind and the pictures it paints for the listener...I did a track last year to support a video (time lapse) of the night sky so have some appreciation of the beauty and shines through the darkness.....great job....keep on....Ed
Well I am not aware of myself possessing a special talent, I am aware though that people view me to have a special talent. Slight difference but it doesn't matter ;)
I am really glad though that you enjoyed this and left such a kind comment.
If you want you can message me the song you made, would be interested in hearing that as well. Especially with the timelapse along it, it makes up for something really nice.
Thank you for posting this one Behnam...Michael is a superb musician who I admire greatly and a thoughtful and supportive person....you make good musical company together...this is a beautiful, emotional song delivered most naturally and perfectly accompanied by the music.....one of my favs...and 2 of my fav musicians.....Ed
many thnx Ed for atention & nice review .as U've mentioned Mike was a good musician & friend & I wish all the best for him & U both .i appreciate U for kind reiew master.best wishes.___B
PS...I think its something about the structure of your composition...I`ve always liked mixes that strayed a bit from the usual...fits the vocal approach really well in this case...and kudos to whoever did the vocal....still digging it on another listen...Ed
Yep first rock track, one more then on to some other genre's, lol most of my music is a little different then most :))Vocals are from a pack I purchased a few years ago, sadly lost most of them when 2 of my hard drives crashed, made a couple of changes to them so they suited the track, track sounds nice without the vocals too but prefer the vocal version better myself, part of me thinks the vocals make the track, Thank you for the review Ed...Like said in other reply made my day coming from you mate...Peace n Respect Mosaic....
your kiddin??...doesn`t sound to me like a first rock track...sounds to me like a track by a musician that soaked up a lot of blues-rock...a little T-Rex...some Doors...and a lot of melodic ideas...this honestly is good stuff Mosaic...Bravo mate....not just for the track...but for pulling this off in a genre that hasn`t been in your ammo pouch...Bravo....fav......Ed
Mate thank you for such a great review and very kind words, coming from a talent like you made my day that's for sure, as I have said in other replies, something nice about this one, I cant stop playing it myself, which is strange as I normally don't like listening to my own stuff straight after making them, but this one is different...Have a acoustic/rock track just about finished, maybe not as good as this one...but nice piece...Thank you for the fav and support mate...Peace n Respect Mosaic...
hey clindsay...sure is no lack of the big energy here...definitely party music..sounds like a mix of bangra & house and its very cool...way to go....crazy is good....Ed
Hi Chris....I was planning on just spending a few minutes checking what was happening on the Loop before I head out...but just had to log in to leave you a few words on this one...Its absolutely superb mate and one of the finest chill/ambient mixes I have listened to in a long while...it accomplishes all that your comments suggest and I enjoyed it a lot....Bravo...definite fav from this ol boy...you have a fine musical mind and its great that you have a way of continuing to make the music.....Ed
you are one prolific guy FR....I think I`ve deleted about 30 or so tracks since I joined the Loop...I just keep a few up to keep my nose in on things...about the mix...yeah...its got that club mix vibe...strikes me as a bit smoother that many I have listened to, so that also helps make it a good listen for guys like me that just sit back with the ears perked & let others do the body shaking....some fat vintage sounding synts stuff going on here & it starts pumping good through the last section....It must be dam good...I listened all the way through & that doesn`t happen with 10 minute tracks often...Keep on mate......Ed
The best band to come out of Oz....the best cover of this one i haver ever heard....just a fantstic job guys...reminded me of their concert here that i attended back in the day...really like the way you did this one. Fav.....Ed
Really like the bass in that 2nd section...very chilled stuff..has a bit of a mysterious vibe too....almost ambient and a nice relaxing listen..good job on the production Cyber...nice and clean sound for all instruments....enjoyed this one....well done....Ed
Hey Scott...now this is different in the best of ways...I thought I heard Carlos Santana step in there with a few tasty guitar licks once in a while...great stuff....way to spread the cheer.......Ed
Hey Ed, Thanks allot, my friend. When I found this pella I knew it would lend itself to some of my funk/jazz style. Yeah, it does sound a bit like Carlos, now that you mention it.
I really like that big rich sounding pad...it contrasts very nicely with the lighter sounds..the bass seems to be atonal in most of the track (noticible in the last section in particular) but it is low enough in frequencies that it seems to work...well done Cyberliam...a nice relaxing bit of music....Ed
well...this sure is real world lyrics for a young man...feel like I just sat down & had a conversation with you & listened to your observations about your computer & partying...haha....good job...left me smiling....Ed
Consider yourself severely chastized for staying away for so long HaHa (actually I had to be away for most of the past month myself)...well...you can sit there with your guitar and play as long as you want and I will keep listening....thats the way many many of my fav songs of all time have been done....and I always enjoy your songs Carole....well done again.....Ed
I can't help blushing like a peonie (French calked, lol) while reading your words, my dear Ed...
I'm lucky you didn't see me playing that one-fingered chorus and Bm chord, ha ha...
So reading such positive words from you is more than an honour to me...
Merci from the bottom of my heart, Ed.

I like that. My favorite is "If failed attempts were lottery tickets, you can bet I'd be rakin' it in." -Fair To Midland-
I will take your advice and keep the Squier in the rotation.
Again, like many times before, thank you for your input and support. Always appreciated.
Take care.
