Smooth brudda, smooth one. i'm guessing the guitar is the loop your talking about. could be wrong though. anyways, really dig the instrumentation, a nice suttle pad makes it feel even more relaxing. could smoke to this joint. matter fact, i'm giving your a download. good shit! peace be with you!

No comments or reviews...*sigh* a swear the loop is ungrateful sometimes. anyways really like the glock sounding synth. adds a nice touch of vague mysteriousness. synths are on point. and rolls pretty nicely. dark style. i like it. peace be with you!

Yo this one is pretty sick man, nobody comments though?? load of bullshit. oh well, what are you gonna do. like the rhythm though, it's steady, simple, and doesn't get you lost and take you somewhere completely else. good work brudda. peace be with you!

on PenThoX - Ambitions by emil715
Indeed alot of ambition in this one brudda. the instrumentation flows well but if the mix was a little better all the highlights like the synth and even those little sudden synth drops would flesh out easily. Almost sounds like it's been a tad over compressed. lay easy on the ratio. a high ratio like a 4:1 can make things a bit loud and overwhelming. giving a slight slower attack can smooth some things out though. try turning down the output gain maybe to a negative -0.8 to give some headroom. But a solid track nonetheless brudda. I also like your profile pic by the way. Code Geass FWD. peace out!

Electro Euphoria man. Nice one. Always like when a variety of sounds are blended together musically in a way that it draws you in pretty instantly. Kind of gives me vibes i got from this game i got for the 360 called "Vanquish." (Highly recommend playing it by the way.) This sounds more like intelligent electronica too if you ask me, all the sounds work and mesh together quite nicely. Almost seems to evolve as you go, constantly changing and shape shifting form. great track brudda. peace

AllenV and shortbus has really nice tracks on here. And you blended them together quite nicely. Cinematic music is arguably my most favorite genre because of the imagery it gives you so easily. Conjuring mental images within the brains corridors. great track man. peace

An intriguing experimentation. Very glitchy, sounds like i'm being sucked into the deepest depths of a very dark abyss in the cyberworld. If there is such a place. spiv has always been one of favs since i've been on here, and i think you did his style justice. if that's what you were going for. Keep at it brudda. peace

on Orgo Smooth by danbo
That beginning synth is very mysterious, gave off an ol skool playstation vibe or something. Remnant of a FF game almost. The pad is pretty nice, and the drums make a good touch. i recognize some of the loops too. I also thought the pad could of used a tad more reverb for depth and more "ambient" feeling. maybe a slight chorus for thickening. but otherwise a great balance of instruments and a solid track brudda. keep it cool. peace

Thanks much for you words InPSYcle.
I'll try what you feel when I'll have a moment.
I only ply the organ line and the choir in the background, but the loops come from Looperman site and from Sony Music collections.
I would to try a slow melody based on something like a Madison dance (the Drums play).
Soon.

on Collide by LexingtonLee
This track is all over the place man. honestly the mix is pretty bad, and the wobble bass is detatched and kind of dull. there's a lot of low end frequencies as well that brings this track down and clobbers the overall clarity and audible-ness of each individual instrument. i was suggest getting into side chaining your bass. and even the drum line. one or the other. it also sounds out of time too. i would suggest going a little bit slower when making a track, especially dubstep as it is not an easy genre. i wish i could say something good, hmm i'm just giving your some honest critique. i would work on mixing alot too, as this doesn't sound like you did any panning at all either. but just work at it man, you'll get there. peace

I'll be the first to comment then. definitely dig the string loop from HMNN. i think have that one too. anyways this is haven't half bad. smooth reverses and transitions. the breaks could roll just a tad more in my opinion. this is definitely an improvement though from what i've heard form you in the past. keep working at it brudda! we all have a hidden potential, just have to find and master the craft! peace

on Into the Night by WongKiShoo
Hm the stereo imaging on this so far is really good. and the sounds are pretty high quality. i'm liking where this is going man. and i don't mean to bash on the title, but maybe another title would fit, something that isn't as generic sounding. because let's face it i've just heard at least like the 100th song that has to do with the "world." whether it was on top of the world, around the world, all over the world. it just gets repetitive ya know? when i make a track i try really hard to give it the most obscure title lol and just typing "into the night" on youtube theres a handful of these songs with your same title. sorry for jabbering, it's just one of those things. and i'm usually pretty decent with titles, how about calling instead of "into the night" you consider "Crystal in the Ruff" hmm that's not actually halfbad..well that's just my suggestion. don't have to use it! sweet job so far brudda

Neobane/InPSYcLe
WongKiShoo
WongKiShoo replied 8th Jan 2012 - 13 years ago
Wow man,

Most people just comment on the music rather than write a whole paragraph about how lame the title is? lol

The title to me is far less important than the actual music content - I barely even take track names in to account when I listen to other members songs (or mainstream for that matter). You on the other hand, take titles far more seriously I see..

Thanks for the suggestions and the thorough review of my title :)

You are dubstep to the core brudda. i can imagine you spent probably a couple of months on this or so, that's alot going with the wobble bass. kind of reminds me of this for some reason http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50m9KAoRjR4

Glitcyhness indeed. how goes it ALX? Been a while eh. i wish i could have something to show for since the loop shut down. but i have learning a great and considerable amount of skills and techniques that i'm also spending months on end to perfect even just "one" of new tracks. i'm planning a major comeback my friend, in the genres of cinematic, dubstep, drum and bass, hip hop, techno, electronic and so much more. i got so many new projects started and progressed but i'm not going to rush anything. anyways this is great work right here ALX. you should be a full time glitch artist you really know how to make it glitch hehe peace out

on chemo by thyroid
Good to see you still making cinematic music thyroid. I don't know if you remember me, it's been quite a while since the site was shut down. but allow me to share some imagery with you like i usually do for a heavy cinematic track. i invision a long dark winding path, with many trees following along the path. They're bark is pale and dying, peeling off from the very shaft like scabs. The branches frail with withered to almost no healthy leaves and pointy at the tips making them look like needles. the vision moves forward down the winding path, still mores trees and a whisper. nature and a voice. moving forward and moving forward, the trees seem to twist and curl like they have sprung to life the more you pass by them. The voice grows fainter in it's whisper. The vision then grows even closer, only for everything to poof into a massive black fog the size of a black hole. nothingness remains. an illusion perhaps. or maybe an act of nature. we shall never know for sure.

Thanks man, i just mean if anyone wants a 320 mp3 version to let me know. Looperman only lets you upload 128 mp3's. So a 320 sounds much better on a good sound system.
