on suspect or the victim by kerry
we are all with the suspects in my world these days. . .the ostinato under your cool pallete of effects is very effective (IMHO). at the end I am at the scene of crime in process. high quality mix - super compelling. congrats. If you would like to feature a clip from this on my site with some art, please let me know. we will need to find an artist who would like to show and has a relevant piece. my site: www.audiosparksforart.com

Dear Behnam

what a beautiful mood you create, sustain, and develop. congratulations on this masterpiece, my friend.

I wonder if you would like to present this music with some artwork on my website. Perhaps you know some artists? And of course the art should go with the music. Here is a link to the website. let me know if you are interested. all my respect and best regards.

on Will you play for me feat Patricia Edwards by 6Hat
i'm with you on not getting the genre thing all the time - but you do create a great sounding, well-balanced tonal landscape, let's say! it's a rich bed for Patricia's vocal. and yes - she delivers. nice work, brother.

Thanks for the continued support, MS. I love when a good set of vocals can make my beats sound respectable :)

it's a great sound. i like the scale. how would you build on this one? what instruments would you add? keep going, brother!

deciBel replied 20th Mar 2013 - 13 years ago
after my appologize if because of my job(mining engineer)I'm late in replying, first I should say I'm glad to see some comments from you & an exclusive thanx about your proffesional attention about the scale in this guitar trial & beside & else I must tell it's a 2 separated Interval self played lines synchronized & harmonized(but one line is attuned to microtonal pitch(with decimal=0.51 pitch)that makes eastern taste in my tentative guitar trial , and makes this sound in output you've listened to .
thank you for listening & taking time to commenting on one of my music trials & Best wishes & regards .__Behnam

i love this upbeat, happy track! mixing is superb! where you have been? i assume you have been posting, promoting on other venues. continued success! regards, Dan

a thought: I wonder if the midi trumpet would be warmer if there were vibrato "tails" on ends of notes occasionally. what do you think? peace!

on Totally Rich by BlackKasper
it is a weird contrast between the dutch fashion guy's narrative and the chill, but it plays well together! i guess if i thought about it more, listened more, I would understand that there are unifying elements. the guy can talk non-stop. the chill is a sustained sound. so there is something perhaps.

on Get on it by 6Hat
not too heavy at all on the bass(IMHO). this is a great mix. that must have taken a lot of work mixing in all of those dialogue clips. the attention to details in general really shows in this piece. totally enjoyed.

on To Toil by 6Hat
i can relate to the harmonic approach I think. Feel in a way similar to my approach. it is not so much progression based as choosing a note set or sets. Am I right? I also like very much how you allow your motives to fully develop - you really take the time necessary for that. These tracks all need to end sometime of course for purposes of posting something. Reality here, for me, is this whole track could easily set the stage for a new second section of a much larger work. keep going man - great work!

on See through me 4th movement by 6Hat
took me in from note one. beautiful mix, 6hat - solo violin over strings is really well done. Harp is ethereal. It got a little "hot" about a third of the way in, but other than a few seconds in there (and just for my taste), it was smooth sailing. look forward to exploring more of your stuff. regards.

on Story Of Her Mood by visualword
you take your time with this. develops gently over the duration (at least of 5 minutes I listened to). i liked the harmonies of the guitar, the 6th and 7th chords I guess. I liked the entrance of the strings. and I liked the sax solos. regards - Dan

on Making my heart glow by BeatStepper
nice upbeat use of the xylophone loop. thanks! many things to like about this track, brother. one thing I really like is when there are sudden changes of color between sections and you get this in spades. the trumpet like synth sound reminds me of porno sound tracks from the 80s-90s. very tasty percussion grooves and use all the way through. really creative interesting work. congrats on this one! on Did you ever love me by andre778
the voice and backup voices are very sweet. i liked the "density" of the mix, but you reserve good space for the voices - that is always a challenge and you seem to have a good feel for this kind of thing. congrats! keep it up, brother. Dan

on Skyline (Instrumental) by Dynamical
a gentle, contemplative piece. relaxing. you create a very open, transparent mix - that does create some of the "outer space" feel. nicely done. cheers!
