Oh this is a special one for boomers! works very well after only a few seconds you are back in the 80s! Drums and bass are unmistakable. very nice work.
thanks bro, its funny because i do get anxious about somethings but not my voice its the one i've got, not much i can do, lol, i find it easier to sing or rap about something cos i god dam wouldn't talk about it openly, but your comment is nontheless inspirational, if people enjoy their listen is what counts. i'm glad you had a great one, i also see you have fresh up so i'll be taking a listen
Hello StratOli my friend, I thank you for the listen and thoughts...we've learned less is better than more a lot of the times and I definitely try to find more reasons to make it simple when improvising....we think alike im sure in some of these thoughts about music...anyway its the joy of it all, thanks again bro
That's another great track Anthony. I can see you continue on your creativity path using AI. The result is very interesting, you recreated the musical atmosphere that matches well your poetry. I like the contrast between the two languages and that's great to hear greek language which is not so common in LM. Thanks and I don't think you actually reached LM creativity limits!
Hello Oli
Thank you for your kind thoughts. I am very glad you liked it. Reciting a poem is something I really don't do, not even occasionally. I loved to write poems years ago but eventually stopped. It was a period of intense search into the chaos of knowledge. I discovered many things that still stay with me, others I forgot. You do understand this super mind of infinite knowledge that is called AI is something hugely impressive. At least for now.
I am happy that you liked Greek, really glad.
Best regards, Anthony
great rendition of this music piece. I looked it up and found out it was composed in the 60s by a jazz musician (Wayne Hill). So in the old time kids were lucky enough to listen to interesting jazz music themes! thanks for sharing.
great track, makes you miss the sea side instantly. Do you plan to return to La Playa? I liked the various parts and the seaguls, also the guitar parts very well played recorded and mixed.
great hip hop track, I like the originality of your voice and singing. I don't know exactly why but I thought about reggae singers while listening, probably the tone and the flow made me think of that. thanks for sharing.
thank you bro, i'm just getting back into it after a break your a familiar face to me and i'll check your latest in a bit, thanks for your time and listen its appreciated mate
Wow, thank you! So happy you felt the soul in it that really means a lot
..A musician once told me: silence is also an instrument that thought deeply influenced how I shape my music.. ;-) thanks again
Hi Anthony, I appreciate your quest for novelty to nurture your creativity. Like any musical quests they have no ending and I believe this AI vocal support quest of yours is just the beginning of a new musical adventure. Thanks for sharing it and would be great to follow your next steps in that endeavor.
Yes, exactly that's the spirit.
It is an exploration, no harm done. We love real singers that have the way to give us excitement and fill our hearts with feelings, give our spirit the freedom to fly...of course that will not change whatsoever. But, as an assistant that can bring "life" to my ideas, it is so useful. In most of the cases it's more or less synth work. In other cases the instrument is a voice. You are a great artist, as others of the LM community and I am sure you can create magic, once you start to use some platform.
Yeap, give it a try!
Best regards, Anthony
great recording the group really plays together with unity and the guitars are absolutely great. I bet you got the chance to play this song live many times, kudos to all musicians!
Really Mononeon played for you?! Seriously I dig the work you did, jazz funk is definitely a noble quest and as there are plenty of guitar parts that made me willing to try to transcribe some of them. Thanks Mark.
StratOli. Yep that's MonoNeon! Thanks for the stop and reaction. I'm happy this one resonated well with you. Keep me posted on what you transcribe. Peace.
Hey Anthony, sounds like perfect italian to me is it your mother tongue?. I don't speak italian but this sounds great, I like your voice and your flow. works well with the instruments you used. I agree with you creativity and expression of one self is what counts the most.
Hello Oli
Thanks a lot for your kind words. No, no, Italian is a foreign language to me. I was taught the language many year ago and I love the musicality and vibrancy in it. I am a Greek with Maltese origin (my surname is a common name in Malta). It is very encouraging to recognize this creativity desire in my music.
Best regards, Anthony
Nice impro Glenn, I like your guitar tone on that one. I had to force my speaker volume to the max though to hear properly, the track become quite clear at that volume. Thanks and keep on sharing your tracks. We all need a better world let's hope music helps for that.
Hi Mark, jazz funk rules! great choice of jazz sounds and phrasings, really realistic and tasty. Mastering might be a mysterious field for most of us musicians, obviously it's nothing of that kind for you. great work.
StratOli. I see we speak the same jazz funk language. I appreciate the comments and compliments. Im happy you found what you heard in order. Im using new plugins and Im having a blast twisting knobs and being totally amazed how I can enhance different elements in the track, and get to my desired sound in less time. You have a great weekend and stay safe.
quite a joyous track fanisatt, then I realized it is probably second degree just to make fun of the character of the song. I'm afraid my spanish is a bit rusted anyways kudos for the arrangements and the music you put around Zozky's vocals. Cheers!
hey, that's a very cool summer song. The production is impeccable as usual I should say. The vocals are great reminds me of few latino female singers. I also like the trumpet mini solos, with a skilled trumpet player those would sound killer. I can even hear brass arrangements on those parts. Well definitely a hit on the dance floor!
The beat works quite well with the vocals and as it is pre-mastering it sounds like an excellent initial proposition. well done and I wish you all the best for the next steps.
That's a great track mixing old time song with more modern sounds. The lo-fi brings you back in time immediately and triggers your nostalgia! thank you for the great work, kudos to all smoky musicians involved!
