on Do You Remember- feat NateMonoxide by goosemeyer
Love the feel behind this, has that local band vibe.
I almost wanted the guitars to have more volume to them. But the way they are now gives it that live-on-stage feel. Love the progression of the song, it builds nicely. The bass gets funky along with the drums at some parts, that gives it life.
Got my head nodding Gooseman! Sounds great! Summer ANTHEM!
BrokenScythe
haha what pleasant instrumental!
Wowzers. Your voice just doesn't disappoint! Love your interpretation of this classic :)
Like how you layered it a bit towards the end too. Beautifully done Music!

Damn J. Utterly smooth. Loving the filter play...and your cuts, as always, are just great.
You mofo J, you know how to inspire a brother. when that piano strikes in towards the end, its serenity in sound.

Beautifully done J1, whenever I've spotted a track of yours it has this feel about it. Your tracks have this uplifting quality about them, and yet they go so hard at the same time.
Your chops in this track are smooth, great vox play. Something I notice about your chops is that they're consistently full and dynamic; Gets me lost in the sound.
I'm a fan man, what else can I say. I admire your work to the fullest, and like I've always said, that's no BS. Just keep doing what you do because it comes out to be great Music.

ma...your voice is so beautiful. Really though. Soulfully interpreted, excellent vocalization. The way you attack the lyrics is just so well done. Your...tremolos? ebb out beautifully as well.
mad talent. As the song begins to outro (last minute or so) your improv is AWESOME.
Great work!

on Thermal Days by Planetjazzbass
The intro had me hooked...crazy how much a life can impact another, even in passing.
The bass is wicked in this. Very wicked. I found the guitar to be a bit... scratchy(?) at times. But it wasn't anything major.
The track paints a picture of that hang-glider in my mind...Soaring high.
Great song PJB.

on Complex by Phyruis
Yeah cinematic is right with this one. Dude seems like itd be perfect for a demonic scary movie 0.o
Im listening to this in the dark and...Its Awesome! lol
It creates this sense of atmosphere. Tense.
I like how most of the sound woven into this reminds me of ghosts, demons...ect. lol
Goes a much more carnEvil route at around 2:25.
In terms of what I enjoy listening to, Im not too keen on it. But in terms of quality, and overall just creativity.
Well dam bro, youve got a winner here.
for what its worth, if I was looking for music for a twisted thriller, Id invest in contracting this haha.
Great work. Kept me entertained.
Phyruis
Phyruis replied Unknown
you know it's funny... I find people being honest refreshing too...it's easier just to be nice though I guess...when I worked on this I was going for deeply cinematic I was in a massive depression having just been diagnosed with CRPS...so yeah I think I got there but I'm sure it needs touches to improve it... thanks for stopping by brother and thanks once again for an honest opinion...

on The Streets ft Rosh by Phyruis
Intro is wicked. reminds me of a movie L:
When the track hits its sick bro. Im not big on Grime. Meaning Ive NEVER really heard a Grime track hha.
Its interesting. The vox fits it PERFECTLY. I dig how the track is forever switching up. Keeps my interest.
Just a great track fam. Its quality is unquestionable. How managed to pull that much going with such clarity is beyond my full technical understanding. haha
the end synth cut is clean as hell. Like the fade out.
Great piece Phyrius. Keep that grind going L:

on Whacha Wanna Do Now (featuring MuzicIzMee4Ever) by Brent88
Damn Brent! This sounds so crisp and clear. I like the interesting harmonics behind the voice. Sounds FULL. Really full. The mixing went well Im guessing? :P
Im digging the the breakdown at about 1:40. That rhodes sound is beautiful.
Towards the end the acapella sounded a tad off, right before it switched to soloing the percussion and the vox. The phrases weren't quite landing on beat.
I like the way you brought it all back after that though.
Man dude it just sounds like a quality track. Really though.
What's up with the end?! cutoff all weird lol.
Good work, keep that grind on Brent!

I'll check the track to see how the vox and beat are off. and about the end, i just thought i'd try something different haha, fail???
Anyways, thanks again man and I'm sure I'll be around your page soon to enjoy more of your work. Just takin a couple days off cuz my ears are startin to ring haha

on Gonna start on my own by Phyruis
This is an amazing piece of work. The piano is awesome. This reminds me very much of an artist known as Alif Tree.
The overall feel of the track is right up my alley. I love good, emotional/dark vibes. the automation you implemented on various pieces of the track is just awesome. Those squelchy bass Stabs really drive the track home IMO. Loving the HHs in this as well.
I personally wanted the snare to have just a tad more volume, but thats just me. Other than that...I love the track...the end is so serene.
Great job with this Phyrius, I think I have found a new Looper to follow L:

The way this thing plays the part of an enigma of sound is just awesome.
It just seems to endlessly recreate upon itself.
Its weird because its so minimalistic, yet at the same time extremely complex.
Spiv, you always seem to know how to make tracks that are so dang unique but also make me want to bob my head L:
Listening to your sound is always quite an experience brother. I'm glad I took a listen to this one!
Really dig the end btw L:

Digging the perc in this! Has that electro punch to it. Sounds like clockwork, and the atmosphere behind it suits sleep very well L:
Im also feeling those tiny synth touches hiding in the far pan sides. You painted this picture very well. It's relaxed, it progresses very well, it grooves and it's overall an interesting piece to listen to.
Great work L=

This track has such a sense of mystique about it...I love the way it progresses. The little child voice is very haunting...
The synths and piano are just awesome >.>

Only gripe is that the ending was so sudden :(

on Jam Boys - Instrumental by TheZerit
This is really fresh. Those horn hits panned on the right really bring a lot to it, give it that sense of power. You ask me this sounds like a summer track for sure.
Then again, that might just be cuz college cats like myself get to breathe for a little bit now haha
Great work man, only gripe would be like how midisparks mentioned, some of the hits sounded just a little bit muffled.
At the same time though, it makes the track sound that much more...real?
Tough call IMO.
Either way, good work fam. I enjoyed it a lot.

on Man Vs Himself ft Broken Scythe (Clenched) by MrPalabra
YeaH bro, telling you, it came out sick. If we get a better mic we'll really have some quality on our hands.
Dnt forget to give revs out when you can. You'll get noticed more and your song will go on the featured section in the top right.

BTW, Manzet just posted a new track. Its sick. Look for it on my reviews out. He said to tell you a lot of the things he mentioned were used in that track.
