Yo man, I love your style and I love your beats. Nice and fat without the that "dirty south" over synth style that's become so common in mainstream hip hop. Do you do this sort of thing professionally? because the quality of the these tracks is incredible. The kinda stuff you do is the kinda thing I would HOPE to do someday. Thanks for showing me this kinda stuff is being done and successfully too!
Thanks again mate, we all just need to focus and stay on our grinds man. In 6 months I'm hoping to put a commercial demo together for radio play. I usually do underground stuff, but I'm trying the radio vibe for a while.
Nice one mate, appreciated. Was liking your track too by the way, but re-createing a beat is always very difficult. I don't have an acoustic to hand right now either.
Is there a reason why it stops after a minute and then is followed by 4 minutes of silence? It also seems to start with no real intro it just starts. It's also all sort of muddied and hard to distinguish one part from another.
Otherwise I like the sound and it shows a lot of promise, I really want to hear this again once some work has been done on it. Keep workin at it.
*Edit- Still just cutting out after a one minute of playing, frustrating because it really is growing on me. I would love to make suggestions, but i get the feeling some of them might already be a part of the song... How/where/what are you uploading? It still seems like it starts in the middle too... On a lot of programs whatever you have selected at the time is what you export, maybe preview the mp3 before you upload it? Guitar does sound a bit clearer though, but I can't hear any bass really... may be the fault of the laptop speakers. I'll give a relisten through some headphones.
im not sure what happened to the track but I appreciate your review. I have replaced the mp3 with the song in its entirity. =)) please feel free to drop by again and review it.
So eerie, So tight, I love you style, very reminiscint of Aphex Twin, I can totally see the influence in the grit of your sound. I'm curious if you ever do any of this stuff live and/or have considered putting visuals to what you've got. I dig film and can occasionally get access to some great equipment and love video loops crazy/dark/weird visual stuff, which you're stuff (and this song in particular) would provide great inspiration.
ive been wanting to do video a long time, but not had the resources (i get by on music with freeware anyhow). ive thought about recording a duststorm on abandoned vehicles, but i have no idea what to do for when it picks up. your welcome to do video projects with any of my music
