on Guide My Way by RichardShekari
Hello Richard, you know how much I appreciate you as a person and as a musician. Im also sure the feeling is mutual. Our views arent all that far apart either. You focus on your God, and I focus on humanitys development, morality, and reason. Regardless of how we see it, we as humans bear a great responsibility toward other people, animals, and plants.

What worries me deeply, however, is that in todays modern and open-minded era, fanaticism among people is growing, and there are only a few disputes aimed at dividing the world anew, driven by greed and the thirst for power. The truly tragic part is that these disputes are often led by individuals who have been elected by a significant portion of their population. Has humanity learned nothing from its past?

Thats why I really appreciate people like you, who strive to remind us that we need love and understanding among each other in order to keep going.

Best regards,
Manuela

on Deeper by TheFrenZ
To call this piece a mere song would be doing it a great disservice. For me, its an epic! Dramatic, dark, mysterious. The music carries this incredible narrative. The lyrics excel in two aspects: describing the traversal of a location and, on the other hand, questioning what one sees within their own imagination. Wonderfully done! Hats off. For me, this musical work ranks among the absolute finest Ive ever heard here! This is music, this is an epic, this is art! Best regards, Manuela.

Hi Manuela, thanks for the compliments, the idea for different lyrics on "Dark times ahead" came from Pnnywze, then during sunbathing I came up with the idea of the cave, the alarm clock came later, i was fun to create.

Off topic: My comment on "Love Love" was indeed a compliment :-)

Hello Aaron, it's wonderful to see the "Monzter Squadd" family continuing to grow. It's great to see how well the new members are integrating, as showcased beautifully in this song. Excellent work in terms of structure and quality. From what I hear, you've stayed true to your style.

on A Thousand Blights Of Fire by ValveDriver
Hi Aaron,

I can totally relate to this. We also have a pile of "unfinished ones" waiting to be worked on. And sometimes, when I sift through them, I come across songs and think, "Why didnt you follow up on this one?"

As for this song, Im fascinated, as I so often am with your work, by the powerful chords. Theres no unnecessary embellishmentjust clear, unmistakable statements being made. A solid and impressive foundation upon which everything else is built. The rhythm from the bass and drums is so dynamic, and the soaring lead guitar above it feels majestic.

As always, its a bit dark *smile, but in the best way. The mix and master are divine once again.

Best wishes, Manuela

After going back and listening to it again for the first time since I posted it, I can hear a few places that need improvement in the mix. But, that aside, I understand what you were saying in your first comment about it being almost mathematical. I can't really put a finger on it, but you're definitely correct. I think not having any vocals, I have to rely on the music itself, and not letting it become a boring listen, so switch ups and riff changes are necessary.
I'm thrilled to know that you're fascinated with my work. I assumed that with it being so far from your preferred genre(s) that you just tolerated it for the sake of encouragement. That means a lot. Thank you.
Take care, Manuela.
Aaron.

Hi Richard, you know I really like the way you produce music. Once again, this song has impressed me musically. Great, clear arrangement, very well mixed and mastered. I agree with Dennel, even though opinions might differ on the lyrics. But you know that's typical of me *smile. Great song! Kind regards, Manuela.

Hi Manuela,

I truly appreciate your insight on the song and feel honoured that you took the time to listen.

I totally understand where you're coming from regarding the lyrics. Differences in opinion, especially in art, are part of what makes music so beautiful, and I will always value your perspective. We all come from different regions, backgrounds, and walks of life, shaped by experiences that influence how we see the world and relate to God.

For some, faith is structured-built entirely on the words of scripture as they have been taught. For others, faith is deeply personal, shaped by encounters with God in ways that may not always align with conventional teachings. Some rely on doctrine, others on personal revelation, and some find meaning in experiences that cant always be neatly explained. None of these paths are more valid than the other-they simply reflect the diversity of how we seek and connect with the divine.

At times, we might dismiss what works for others because it doesnt fit within our own understanding, just as others might do the same to us. But faith, much like music, is an expression of the heart. My lyrics are not just words; they are prayers, conversations, and reflections born from my personal journey with God. They may not always sound like direct scripture, but they are honest, raw, and deeply rooted in how I have come to know Him.

Im honoured and always grateful for your time, for listening, and for sharing your thoughts. Conversations like these make the exchange of ideas and faith even more meaningful.

Kind regards,
Richard

on A Thousand Blights Of Fire by ValveDriver
Hello Aaron,

There is nothing to say about the quality of your work. As always, it is flawless and beyond any doubt. I almost take that for granted *smile. The structure of this song is clear, almost mathematical, and takes me, the listener, to some dark corner where I await in awe for some bright glowing elf to protect me from the dark demons and lead me back to the light. Whether Nirvana, as mentioned here, was the inspiration for this project, I cannot and do not want to judge. Although the trance-like drive underlying your song almost hints at it. So, a great musical artwork, although, as you know, I am not necessarily a fan of this dark musical shadow world.

Best regards, Manuela

Hi Manuela.

I truly appreciate the fact that you took time to listen to my work. Especially knowing it's not at all your preferred genre. That's what I like to call unconditional support, and it means a lot to me. So, thank you for that.
I've been producing music since 1998. It's been a constant uphill struggle to achieve a quality mix. It wasn't until about 5 years ago that it all started to really come together. So when I get comments like yours, it's very rewarding. thank you for that as well.
I can assure you there was no influence by Nirvana. Grunge, yes. Nirvana specifically, no.
As far as awaiting the glowing elf to protect from the dark demons, I believe we are all feeling like that in the world right now. Which is what this is about. The blights of fire that seems to be rising on all horizons.
Thank you again, Manuela. It's always a pleasure to hear from you.
Take care.
Aaron

Hello! It's really very pretty, immediately puts you in a good mood, and feels like you've heard it a thousand times before. Also great for dancing, somewhere between slow dance and good old foxtrot. I feel like I'm on a journey back to the good old days of pop music. I enjoyed it! Honestly! Best regards, Manuela

on Distant Shores by Swanm2002
Hello, I must say, for a home studio recording: Hats off to you! I think this song can definitely keep up with professional recordings. About the song itself: Very clear (except for the area mentioned below) and expressive, both in the vocals and the instrumentation. You must have a very well-equipped studio to produce such quality. However, unfortunately, between 2:38 and 3:08, there is a slight, let's say, scratching noise. An error in the effect settings? But, great song, best regards, Manuela.
Swanm2002
Swanm2002 replied 13th Mar 2025 - 4 months ago
Hello dear 2Sisters. The Mix is done at home studio, exactly. The mastering took place twice. Bandlab's online mastering engine which was "so-so". I myself can't arrange a mastering so therefore I invite my friend who is a professional. Regarding the scratching noise, I haven't notice it to be honest and if I didn't then three other guys who helped me would indeed notice it.. May be it is a result of conversion from WAV to MP3. Thank You so much and your remarks are taken into account, however. For me it is not the best thing that I can do and did in the past. Best Regards :)

Hello Darren, nice! The song reminds me of old Gameboy games. It's a memory of times when computers were still learning to run.
