Overall I can hear that you put a lot into this track and I like it. It's not what I would "normally" listen to but I can appreciate it nonetheless. I also feel like perhaps there might be something lacking in the drop as well. Can't tell what it is either exactly. A suggestion to try elsewhere though might be using some of those vocals that are at the very end also in the intro. Kind of start and end in the same place? Just a thought. Thanks for sharing!
Wow, what an awesome track you have here! It was like a mini vacation for my brain! I closed my eyes and you took me places. Everything is top notch as far as I'm concerned...mix, arrangement, intro, use of sounds, transitions, musical ups and downs... it has everything! Great job with this man! Thanks for sharing.
Another musical biscuit! :) This is really good! Great stereo mix. My only comment might be that I wonder if the lead vocals could come up a bit when it's over "busier instrumentations". During those parts the lead vocals sound a tad in the back to me. Overall though this is super solid and a fun listen. Thanks for sharing.
Your intro is super solid! I love it. Good mix, good transitions, the piece flows. My one suggestion is to try removing your very last base note in the ending and see if that "feels" better. Great track, thanks for sharing!
Oh man this really awesome! Congratulations! Only real thoughts are maybe squeeze a little more out of the low end? I also kind of want to hear a voice sample used somehow once in a while. I know that's pretty vague, but I think if the right one was used it could add that little extra seasoning on it. Overall though, this is really good!!! Thanks for sharing it.
Thank you toddlove, using vocal samples has really become a problem these days, too many algorithms that unquestionably decide on your creativity. I'm glad you liked it, you can listen to it on spotify insiame to my other productions:
As a drummer, I love this track! I always like to hear the percussion used as a prominent part of a track and not simply as a thing to "keep time". Are there plans to put vocals or anything over it? Thanks for sharing.
Interesting track! I like your sound choices and arrangement. The track builds nicely. My personal opinion/suggestion would be to select one main instrument sound and bring it forward a bit in the mix (less reverb/delay on it). To my ears it all sounds a tad too "washy" and or reverby. Like everything is sitting in the same exact space. Just a thought. Thanks for sharing!
Super chill track! Definitely don't throw it out!!! This type of music isn't in my wheelhouse but I certainly appreciate and enjoyed your track. I know it's sort of down tempo and chill but was wondering how it would sound if somewhere for a few measures maybe you went to double time with everything and some quick percussive rap? Just a thought. Great job and thanks for sharing!
The Doctor is IN! :) Funky track you got here Doc! My only suggestion/opinion is those horn stabs at 53 sec. (and elsewhere) sound too harsh or like they don't quite fit. Just my 2 cents. Great job! Thanks for sharing.
Overall I like what you have here, however it feels like it gets too "repetitive" to me. Maybe with vocals over it it won't feel that way? Not sure if you have further plans with this one. Thanks for sharing!
This is super solid. I enjoyed it! I used to listen to Big Audio Dynamite back in the day. This makes me want to listen to them again. Thanks for that!
Great job! Loving the instrumentation here. I think you built the track wonderfully, good mix, always moving it forward, both sparse and busy parts. Loved the 2:00 mark transition and adding the "dwip dwip"s. However, I found them to get a tad repetitive afterwards. Maybe they are a tad too loud or go on a tad too long? Just a thought. Overall great job!
Wow, it sounds like you did have fun with this! Great job. Around 1:50 (and some other places too) I keep wanting to hear a really big and low male voice, call and response type thing..."I'M THE KIIIIING!!!!" :)
Very cool track! I'm a drummer, so I noticed the nice natural sounding drums you did on this. Were they samples or live drumming? They sound good, it's nice to hear some fills! :) Keep up the great work!
Thx for your feedback
For all drum part i'm using Addictive drum from XLN audio.
I generaly think my track that as a track can be played by a real band so 'im more live drumming related.
I think I like this track more for the instrumentation, kind of lo-fi hip hop sound to me. Very 70's and chill. However I find the vocals to kind of "clash" with that sound. That's just my opinion of course. I'd like to hear some more chill lo-fi type of vocal sample over the music. Well done overall though! Thanks for sharing.
This seems like a super solid start! Intro is really sweet. I would be curious to hear how a bigger swell leading up to the drop would sound. Even maybe trying at 52 seconds letting the first note of the piano on the one stay and then dropping out those bells (or whatever they are) until the drop. It could have a nice dramatic pause with a bigger "pay off". Just an idea. Anyway, great piece and I think it deserves some rock solid vocals on top. Will be interested to see where you wind up....after you get over your beat block! :)

I'll give it a try. It might not fit this style but I will definitely try! Thanks for the feedback! :) I hope it ends soon, too. I contacted some vocalists and left a forum post so we'll see what happens. I'm having a tough time finding someone but It's only been a day. Although I'd assume my post will get lost the longer it's alive.
Let me start by saying that this isn't the type of music I listen to so I may just not understand the genre, but to my ears it sounds a little like the piece doesn't really "go" anywhere if that makes sense. In other words you can hit play and then advance the play head every 20 seconds or so and hear pretty much exactly the same thing. So, to me, it feels more like I'm hearing a loop on repeat. Maybe that's the point though I don't really know. Sorry if I'm not much help to you. :) Thanks for posting.
Awesome chill track. The more I listened to it the more I liked it. Love the panning, especially in the beginning. The sample at the break was indeed unexpected, and that's why it's good! :) I read your backstory on what you were thinking while making this which is always interesting to hear. Great job though. Maybe your feeling of lacking in the production department is actually a benefit! ;)
