The set-up and arrangements are solids in this track and the progression flows which is driven by the FM synth chord line. I like the FX and reverse cymbals which add dynamics to the song although perhaps the piano hooks could have been EQ'd so that the 600-1500hz frequency dominates. Anyway, this is a cool dance-floor number. --Davey--
Well this track has a lot of experimentalism to say the least but also some nostalgic old-skool bass and flanged break-beats. Perhaps as a preference I would have liked to hear more in the way of a dark melody or even a pad line. Very interesting sounds none-the-less. --Davey--
Well - I love the heavy attacked phat bass synth and powerful d&b beats here. Would be interested in hearing an extended version. Nice work though.
--Davey--
Hi there,
A very loud mix indeed....Some fair melodic and bassline ideas here for this demo but I'm afraid needs a lot of work with mastering. Try watching for the levels which clip and cause distortions. Also EQ-ing and panning would help give room for the track to breathe.
--Davey--
Some interesting ideas here - I like the rez. pads FX and beats making this have quite a cool atmosphere. Needs a bit more work on structure and mastering i.m.o. but with a bit more work you're bound to get yourself heaps of attention. Greetz, --Davey--
I was looking for that heavily syncopated drum beat, probably went a bit overboard with it but, been listening to alot of burial lately so i think that influenced me a lot.
Definitely needs work on the structure, I knocked it up quickly and wasn't giving to much thought.
Anyway im gonna keep it at, thanks for the quick responses, more are definitely welcome.
What I'd describe as minimalist house. Great beat arrangement and some nice progressive flows too. Perhaps I would have added some extra FX, i.e. sine-sweeps/attenuated white noise for greater variation. Pretty nice work though. Greetz, --Davey--
Wow - I love the over-flanged phat bass together with the darkish lead pad. Some interesting ideas for sure although some reverb-space and EQ is needed on the main beats i.m.o. Quite nice and an interesting composition. Peace & Greetz, --Davey--
Whoa - this one is as dark as hell (or should I say Murgetroyde Street), some eiree lead elements then the pounding over-driven sine kick gives this track the head-banging factor for sure. Perhaps a detuned lead amongst the bassbeats would have made for interesting variation. Anyway, not bad. --Davey--
Tnx man nice review, i agree on the synth it's not finished yet.
And it should be Murgetroyde Street! They have a good rhytm purfect and would fit nice on a breakbeat.
Once again, Dadnika, your vocal style continues to inspire...Some very good vocal ideas to the mysterious electronica soundscapes produced in the main track. Good work, --Davey--
I think there is something very Alison Goldfrapp meets Siouxsie and the Banshees about your vocals with this tune. Very powerful and direct evoking moods and emotions which meet the harmonic nature of the backing track. Your vocals would be a huge credit to any future tracks I may make...I'll def. keep you in mind. Well done. Respect, --Davey--
Quite a nice structure here, Eurotrance sounding with some cool piano and pad lines. Lead chord synth a little too distorted for my liking though. Not bad. Greetz, --Davey--
Well - this is dark and very experimental to say the least. I like that osc. phat synth running through together with the rez pads and staccato'd percussion. Has a very cinematic feel to the song and would fit nicely into an apocalyptic sc-fi horror or something along those lines. I think if you could have expanded more on the dark theme, maybe added an achromatic minor lead you'd get a whole heap of attention here. Interesting ideas anyway. Greetz, --Davey--
Wow - a very interesting track indeed, man! Sounds like a cross between the 90's alternative hip-hop group Marxman and the electro/industrial outfit Front 242. I love the strange synth lines and electric guitar sequences used here, plus those unusual/alternative lyrics fit well into the general theme of the song. Great to listen to and hope u to hear more tracks from you soon. Greetz, --Davey--
thanks bro, i will have to check out those groups you mentioned. i have noticed more psychedelic music these days so people seem more ready to trip out on stuff like this.
Hmmm - I think this one sound like fast dubstep which would be best to describe this genre. Some quite cool vocal loops, FX and Rhodes piano chords going on here which have been supplemented by the fast tempo'd beats. I think maybe the main melody and vox could have been brought more forward into the mix to stand out a bit more. Quite nice ideas though. Greetz, --Davey--
Aaaahhhh riiiiightt!! Lets do da do da boogie, man! Do da do da booooogie... Lol. This kinda reminds me of N-Trance's version of Stayin' Alive for some reason. Very catchy bassline groove and flutey lead synths together with the snap 'n' snare percussion. May have gone for a little more variation but this was nice all the same. Greetz, --Davey--
The synths sound a lot like the Italian house dance group Capella from the 1990's. Certainly a different main synth composition although maybe not quite my cuppa though - tended to be a bit too random and a bit too much domination by that same hard-trance lead synth. Greetz, --Davey--
Some ingenious ideas here. As jfw has pointed out, a lot of glitchy hooks and FX here. Maybe could have done with a bit more variation but otherwise quite an interesting listen. Greetz, --Davey--
Okay - here are my two cents. You have created some interesting minimalist synthlines, percussion hooks and FX and I pretty much digg the sinister vocal and techy warbled moog later on in this piece - it shows imagination. This is quality I find important when listening to other ppl's music. I feel that I'd have to agree with others here in that the track does need more work for it to stand out more. Firstly the elements need to be somewhat clearer, EQ-ing and volume level are important. With the percussion try upping the 2.5khz levels but low-cut the 1000-400hz levels a little to avoid making the synth elements sound unclear. Also, reverb space and pan can be a good way to make your track have space and feel more 3 dimensional and less constricted. Finally, try and work a little more on structuring your piece, i.e. give it a beginning middle and end and try to avoid an "untied up" ending. If you can work on these things you'll find yourself gaining enormous attention as I reckon you do have talent with your ideas here. Good luck, --Davey--
Got some nice synth loops and hooks going here together with the percussion parts. The min 7th harmonincs give this a kind of deep house flavour. I didn't hear any rapping on this so I presume you'll add this later?? Also, maybe could do with some variations in places too i.m.h.o. Greetz, --Davey--
Whoooooaaaaa! Check out this wicked old-skool tech-house choon! The detuned bassline and main lead loop is feckin' wicked and that dark bass pad sounds like something out of Doom 3 (the game I'm playing a.t.m.)! Needs a little more work on the mastering but apart from that this is a quality tune. Nice 1 bruv! --Davey--
What I'd describe as 'downbeat house' I hear solid percussion and main lead synth hook plus the vocal is placed quite well too. I think I'd agree with kylerklevenger in that a little levelling EQ and mastering is needed as the mid Freqs on the drums get slightly distorted with the mid-high lead freqs. Anyway, you have some quite cool ideas here. Hope to hear more from you. --Davey--
This one certainly has a lot of different elements - probably not really my cuppa as I tend to prefer more structured tunes. However you've used some interesting breakbeat hooks, basslines and lead elements. I really like the techno glitch at around 3:00 though. Some level EQ and mastering is needed here there are distortions in places where the track suddenly goes loud. --Davey--
An interesting mysterious tune with those scattered d&b beats, pads and BP filtered vocal sample. Needs some sub-bass or lower frequency hooks to give a little more fullness to the overall track I reckon. Quite nice though. Greetz, --Davey--
Although not a style I usually listen to, this is indeed an accurate production. The mix is very clear and elements have been levelled and EQ'd almost to professional standard. I think the genre should be RnB instead of chillout. Good work. Greetz, --Davey--
Some interesting elements here with the melody and bassline ideas. I don't know if it's just me but the bassline seems to go into a distorted rumble a bit. The melodic elements are very clear though. --Davey--

could you please give me a definition of EQ-ing and what does the track breathing mean
thanks
