Some nice ideas with the parmento and trance melodies used together with the hip-hop break rhythm used throughout. Just needs some rapping to complete the picture. Nice instrumental though. Greetz, --Davey--

on On the Way by Aberon
I don't think I'd classify this as mainstream dance but rather Techno/Glitch or something like that. Great assortment of beats, splices and electro FX giving this track a real underground alternative feel. I love the way you've mixed in world and tribal samples to this very interesting project. Good work, --Davey--

on kabz 4th by Kabz012Beats
Good synth hits and beats - somewhat early Mantronix style giving this track a retro Detroit feel...Perhaps if you were to expand on this, maybe introduce one or two more glitches then you'd end up with no end of attention. Greetz, --Davey--

on Martyshia - Rebellion by Martinka
I like the theme of this track - reminds me of Billie Ray Martin. Cool vocals indeed and I love those background pads. However, I'd have to agree with ChrissG in that there needs to be a little more instrumentation, i.e. more in the way of a bassline and a more definitive melody. Nice work all the same. Just wondered, would you consider a collaboration as I'd love to work with someone else's vocals for a track? --Davey--

on The Shuffler - Save the world by theshuffler
Well - quite a different version from the original...Some strange detuned loops later on as this track has an unconventional progression. Interesting sounds and FX here as well as the vocal manipulation. --Davey--

Some very good ideas used here - I love the 'fugees' style hip-hop beat and the phat bass synths too. You also have some cool vocal samples here too. I think to improve things then overall mastering of levels and EQ is important as quite a few of you lead elements seem rather distant plus if you could also bring your bass synth more into the foreground too may help. However you may need to control the verb-space on the main beat if you do this as the frequencies may clash and the mix may then sound rather unclear. Best really to experiment and play it by ear - that's what works best for me. Good luck, --Davey--

on Tara Toxic Vs Julian DJ and D Sona - YRML by TaraToxic
Very much a synth driven track - not sure if I'd really call it hardcore as such as there is def. a feeling of Eurodance in it. Innovative use of the choral pads making this sound celestial in places, and although maybe not a genre I'd generally listen to, some good ideas used here. Thanks for sharing. Peace out, --Davey--

Originally a hardstyle track, i layered some basic synths with a german trumpet and tweaked the EQ to get the dusty sound..thanks for your review appreiciate it mate

on Ultimate Interlude by Mouthman
Very 'upbeat' trance track with quite nice arped leads to go with the female vox. Good, steady bassline together with the soft synth chord sequences along the way. Perhaps I may have opted for a thicker bass-beat but that's just a preference. Nice job, --Davey--

on hard body miss...(discoteka) by townbyze
Very new skool d&b with elements of Grime. Although not my preferred style, this has been very well mixed and produced plus you've added interest with the rock guitar sequences. Cheerz, --Davey--

This one sounds very old-skool with those phat bass and lead synths plus the breakbeat rhythm. The vocals are cool too and everything has been mixed incredibly clearly. All sounds very pro indeed. Nice one bruvva. --Davey--

Love the fusion/electro funk this tune has to offer. Nice guitar work and hip-hop style beats. Reminds me a bit of Tone Loc from the late 80's early 90's. Nice work, --Davey--

on Darkcore by TaraToxic
Hullo again, Taratoxic. Some neat variations here - not just hardcore but bits of Eurodance and trance I'd say. Nice melodic square synth hooks which add interest to the bassline. Production is not bad at all and all elements could be heard clearly. Nice work, --Davey--

on Nemesis - Twilight by theshuffler
Whoa - this one is pretty wild but It's pretty cool. Some crazy reverbed FX along with the hardstyle beat and those 'Baby-D' stytle vox! Your style here reminds me of Acen back in the early 90's rave days. If you could have made the BPM a little faster and bunged in some amen breakbeatz, you'd get more than an awesome amount of attention. Nice one, bruv. --Davey--

on Mr rain - memorandum by lukakr
Well - I think this is definately an alternative form of D&B as the theme is rather strange. Some innovative ideas with melody and rez pads etc plus the bongos within the percussion. Not really my cuppa as I prefer a more solid structure and key signature but, I guess it's all a matter of preference. --Davey--

*["RAUNCH" REVIEW]*

I love the LFO FM bass hook and FM stab arp-lead in this one, hun. Gives this track a really cool electro-esque flow. If you could make this longer and have more variants I reckon you'd get an awesome amount of attention. Good work, --Davey-- x

A just love this kind of Dub. Def. old skool reggae driven variety and you've implemented some nice vocal breakz here too. The bass ostenato is phat and furious bringing a certain grind to the mix. Pretty well mixed and produced I'd say and enjoyable to groove too. 8/10 from me. Cheerz, --Davey--

on Mix n' Match by TheAmature
I'm not sure that I'd classify this as industrial - more deep house or deep trance. This has a certain tripiness with the high FM lead blipps and sub-synth bass and there are some interesting vocal slices too. Perhaps I would have added a little more variation or maybe added a bridge or break in the middle. Nice though. --Davey--

on The Shuffler - Save the world by theshuffler
Verrry hardstyle indeed! Great overdriven sine beat and some sinister/weird vocal samples too. Perhaps for full effect the beat could have been fatter although that is a preference. Definately one for the more late night underground club-spaces...:) --Davey--

Some cool housey ideas used here including the rhythm and melodic loops. Perhaps a variation with the bass loop may generate even more interest. Nice to dance too anyway. Cheerz, --Davey--

on Can I Touch It by Looperman
One genre I really digg is Space-Dub or Dubstep. The melodic tones and loops are inspiring and fit well with the vox and piano hooks. All these blend nicely with the bass ostenato. Cool track from what I see as a cool leader. Peace & Respect, bruv. --Davey--

Wow man! Is this alternative groove or what? I have to say that I really love this! The looped vocal samples and rhythm breaks go nicely with the catchy FM synth lead. I would love to hear a 12" version of this. Great ideas and crossover of genres here. It is such a pleasure to hear more underground trax like this on Looperman.com. I use to be active on Dance Industries until BREO recommended this good site to me. On D.I. about two thirds of the tracks were mainstream trance and not a lot else. Looperman seems to provide a rich variety of ideas and soundscapes.
Peace out,
