The similarities between this and a track I just produced for my group are uncanny. Ill just say I like it ALOT man.

I know the genre tags we have here are often not very accurate, and that is especially true here. Im saying this for a reason so bear with me - This is NOT trap, by either definition that Ive come to understand over the years. Its definitely not the drug slangin hoe pimpin american bando variety that I grew up with, nor is it the wonky wubby EDM inspired dubstep and Future Bass adjacent variety, either. And that is a very good thing. Over the last year Ive been honing a specific style for my group's (The Monzder Squadd) releases, a heavy metal, industrial and Trap Blend that is distinct from Trap Metal as it is meant to have alot of original vocal pieces and several transitions. Anyway, I say all that bcuz this song here comes very close to some of the material ive done over the last year. Much of it is still on my page if u want to hear exactly what I mean. Well done man. I agree with Kay, this is like a nice blend of RnB and Pop. Pretty good bassline, as well. Four years is a long time to go between start and finish, im glad u came back to it and completed it. Its well done.

The fade in from the distorted glitches in the beginning was pretty dope. All thats missing for me is maybe some keys, some distorted single notes to start each bar, at least. But thats just what my producer ear tells me, Its perfectly fine as is.

Man i really have a soft spot for this one....our very first song. I only wish we would've had Dusty for the whole project. I wish i knew what happened to him, we could really use him for the new project. Despite a couple of flaws, u can really hear the blueprints of what was to come. BTW, id honestly consider this one Dark Trap, or Dark Emotional Trap, at the very least, compared to what Ive heard elsewhere. Not that important, really, but might help classify it a bit better for uploading on other sites, if that happens

Dude....this definitely has the vibe you're going for. Ministry's album Filth Pig comes to mind, especially the bass-forward march of the first minute and a half or so, and the backgroud vox as well. Also reminds me of Gravity Kills, another of my favorites from that time period. I only wish it had more guitar lol. Youre 100% my favorite artist here on LM, No Contendre.

You have a very rich yet raw sound here man. LM's genre descriptions arent really as specific as they should be. Breakcore, true hardstyle, phonk, complextro, all under represented genres. I like alot of the elements you went with, it definitely has a unique identity. Well done.

I certainly hear elements to Techno and even Industrial in there. The tempo is different here than most techno would be, but thats not really important. Its different than alot of other stuff youve been doing lately. Thats versatility. Well done FrenZ.

Ah, i was waiting to hear this one. I always tell Richard his particular style of music and message are much needed in this community. Im glad he continues to put in work, he deserves the recognition. Im really glad to see this collaborative effort. Its definitely uplifting, and im sure many of us need that sometimes. I kno i do. That last msg was supposed to say 'when my brother and I began work on the Monzder Squadd stuff, he lived 198 miles away...

198 Miles away so it was not convenient at all for us to record and mix vocals at my house. So over half of his vocals were done in Audacity by him and then sent back to me to mix amd and master. Ive listened to those songs alot recently (most are posted on The Monder Squadd profile that my brother runs) and i think they sound amazing. Good enough that ive used the same software and technique on 2 of my newer Remixes here on LM and sure enough, the results are very good. Let me know if theres any way i can help you. I have a cloud account that I used to occasionally help other members of the community here, there's some software like synths, and some Sample packs and stuff like that there that i offer 100% free should you want them. Some of it is pretty nice stuff. I understand from experience that making music can be a pretty expensive thing so I wanted to make sure that there was a way resources could be offered to anyone here on LM who needs or wants them. the cost is no issue. As a bonus there are a couple of sample packs that I personally crafted myself, loops and MIDI and stuff like that. It you're interested just let me know and I'll send you the link
