Could be some mixing changes made. Also, don't try to make too many "type" beats - those are for inspiration exclusively. Try to make your own sound. Good work tho
I suggest you do the repeat claps using a delay plugin. Would sound much better. Also, lower your hats, and use a stereo enhancer and fruity convolver to widen your melody a bit. Keep going, you got this!
lol bro, you're probably using in ear headphones right? If you're listening with something bigger that has more bass it might not be that sharp. But thanks tho.
This is great. I have a few problems with this though, first; The snare. If I were you, I would either layer that with another snare or just swap it out for a new one. I have that same snare, and its no good by itself.
Second, the kicks NEED to be louder. Only by 1.5 db though. But then you should sidechain the kick to the master track using fruity limiter. There are videos I can give you to help with that.
Third. YOU NEED PERCUSSION(all of these are drum related issues).
Put something on 3 and 7 beats. Could be a snare, click, clap or snap, or even a tom, just put something.
I only give you this much critique because I believe you can do better than this. Keep going! Don't give up!
Also, you prob should remake it like Verdi said, and then in the process follow my tips. You do you, though.
This sounds like something you might want to work on, and thats a good thing. Its great already, but it has soo much potential if you keep working on it! Dont give up on this beat just yet!
