Good work on making this, but you should try to add your own style to type beats, or they tend to get annoying. Also, your snare rolls are a mess. A good snare roll either keeps the same speed (1/2 step) or slows down (4 rolls with 1/2 step, then 2 with 1/4 beat). Keep practicing that!!
Nice lyrics! Although I think you could be a little more confident in your vocals. I hear voice cracks here and there. Spit those words like your talking down to someone!
Good music to vibe to! But I feel like when you mastered this one, you took out a lot of the low frequencies that should have been there. Maybe only cutting up to 40 Hz would help. Keep up the good work!
Great! My go-to drum pack is the free $umeenk Drum Kit Vol. 1. This has a bunch of essential drum samples for starting out producers. Do not use Cymatics drum kits, most of their kits are like alternative drums. There is also an Astro Love pack which includes the drums used in Travis Scott songs, and a trap kit inspired by the song Belly by Lil Uzi Vert, which has some hard to find drum and vox samples.
I also have my own melody pack I could give you with some drum loops. I even listed what key the melodies are in for you. Send a request to my e-mail in my profile and I can send it to you.
Nice creepy track! Although some of the drum samples are not hitting for me. They seem extremely outdated. There are plenty of drum packs out there for free, and I could give you my own if you'd like.
You know i was wondering wtf im missing and all this time ive yet to use anything outside of FL Mobile for drum samples (still new to producing). And anything you could spare sample-wise is immensely appreciated.
This sounds great, but.... the whole mixing is off. Drums NEED to be louder than everything else in rap music. this is more of a "listen to because it sounds cool" beat than a "someone could spit bars on this beat".
You are absolutely right. While i do tunes for my own fun, always try to balance for the best sounding as a "finalized" track. I didn't expect anybody to use them - there is tons of better tunes on the site.
However, if someone wants to any of them, ofcourse i/we can adjust it for the voice - but i never get any inquiry until now, and i don't have any problem with this. I'm just happy when a few people listen to my little game. :)
