on The storm outside (V2) by StephenPotter
i like chill out and i like this song nice mellow intro you should try using a big ping pong pan on the echos of the start synth.. the beat is good decent amount of reverb but you should try layering the kick with a deeper one then break the song down to a good outro insted of it just ending or add more stuff like pianos and strings etc :)

Maybe I will do that if I change the genre, but its the simplicity of this song which is what made me proud of this one, as JahKnow pointed out in his review. I'll change the kick, and work on this track soon, but I got other tracks to do, I need to upload!

Also, schools out for six weeks :P

Thanks for the review and the fav!

I'm glad you found this one to be fun! You may be right about the genre choice, but I think I'll leave it, as trance was what I was going for. Thanks much for your review!

on Qlimax by HydraulicLlama
the beat destroys the sound and you can hardly hear the synth but if you were to try turning down lower frequenceys and turn up the treble while maaxing out the sound waves it might work and if you manage to get it sounding good i can picture this track being qlimaxes intro if ya now what i mean :)

on Airborne by StephenPotter
this is great classic trance good work man how do you master it sounds like you have maxed it you should try a compressor the kick is far too punchy but all in all this is a good track :D
StephenPotter
StephenPotter replied Unknown
I didn't use a compressore before this track, but I do now, and I still need to learn how to use the peak controller, but once I do, its going to be a lot better.

Thanks for the review!

great job with the kick n bass i find it hard to make music like this simply cos i cant make a good kick and bass.. this is good gabber i love it :D
naturatech
naturatech replied Unknown
yeah thats true, I always use samples for my kicks because as you say, they are very difficult to make. the best thing you can do is to get yourself a good library of kicks, and then just select the one u like the most for each track.
