on Kali with Peanut Sauce by n0mad23
Hey, this one has a very nice, relaxed groove to it that I liked, almost a world beat. This nomad dub feel is unique but all you.

One of the first in this medium that I really liked. It was also the first to fall from grace for me - lol. Funny the difference in perspectives between the audience and the performer. I've wondered several times now about trying this one again, and you've got me in contemplation mode again. Thanks Wayne, both for the review and inducing thinking on my part. Cheers.

on I Wanna Love You Forever cover song by santiagosky
I think you did a great vocal track. I have never heard the original so I can say that objectively!! I think you could get the vocals a little bit better mixed with the music though, they seemed a little loud in the mix. Other than that, you were awesome!

*["11MORE REVIEW]*

I like the accordion/squeezebox loop but the piano really shines in this song, nice delay on it. Excellent production, nice song.

Hey Shojo, this is great! I liked the flute instrument in this, it makes it so serene and peaceful. Luckily I never got to the oil spill part so I hovered on beautiful the whole way through!!

This is a real nice piece, Thanks for sharing!

Those throat chants are awesome! Diggin the beat and overall feel to this. Where you gonna go with it? Can't wait to find out!!

The clicking of the can is, I believe, the universal food call for cats. Dogs are always in eat mode so it doesn't work for them.

Wayne

n0mad23 replied Unknown
The throat chants and effects added were initially to create a wobble without a bass, hence the Dubstep. It's got proto-elements, but most certainly a recognizable vibe. I met someone yesterday whose cat doesn't know the universal food call - can you believe it? A 12 year old cat that doesn't know the click. Thanks for the review!

Hey, this is a departure from your usual stuff and I like it a lot. There is such a nice flow to the music, it really matches AJ's vocal performance. This is quite enjoyable!!

Hope all is well,

Well hello there Wayne, thank you for the review. I had to think alot on what I was going to to on this one - no way did I want to overide AJ's outstanding vocals, rather to support - kinda difficult for me to do because of my style - I learned and had a good time.

on Booster by Anomelie
Nice, ya, brought back a few memories for me too! I hear a lot of the sounds in this song when I kayak, except for the Indian guy and the synths, lol!! It's almost time to get the boat out there again and your song really got me psyched for summer.

Very well put together, enjoyed it a lot but no dl, bummer. Thanks for sharing!

Wayne

This song is pretty special to me, so no dl's at this point! But I'm glad you liked! The synths kind of simulate the heaviness in the air, the humidity, don't you think? Thanks for comments!

I figured I would review a song about rain as you reviewed my song Rain. This is a cool song, I like how it subtly builds from simple beginnings! Maybe you could add a few more passages from the poem. Liked the drums, they sound great. dl and fav, thanks!

Wayne
Anomelie
Anomelie replied Unknown
Hmm. I do still have the workable copy of this. Maybe sometime I will go back and play with it again. More passages from the poem might be nice. Though I like the ambiguity of having just those two words. If I open this up again to tinker, I will keep your suggestion in mind and see what happens! Thanks!

Thanks man. Just a westcoast bump. I look at hiphop beats ins styles and note what defines the style. That way it's easy when someone says Hey I want a beat that sounds like this. Just how my mind works.
