I can feel the emotion in the lyrics and can feel that you put a lot into this. You have a decent voice to do vocals. It needs some work but all my tracks do too. So work on it some more and keep learning as you go. It's a long process so don't get discouraged, keep it fun. Don't be afraid to move on to the next idea for a while and give a project a rest, then come back at it later, fresh new mind on it with a new perspective.
haha yea each time i hear it find something i think i need to fix. my biggest area. is learning how to rap to a beat. like when to rap and when not to.. then i need to learn how people base there raps. but thanks you. i have quite a long haul in fron of me if want to be as good as your or alot of members on this site, but i pray i will start to get more intune with beats and how to sync my voice with em, but yea man thanks again for the kindess and not lighting me on fire and throwing gasoline on meh haha..
This is great, you guys have a good thing going here, it has the harmonies of the Eagles and the guitars remind me a bit of Croce.
I like the tempo change. Nice live recording and performance.
I'm listening to your version and Papa Chubbs version and you did a nice job with it. You have some great production skills!! Off to review their's now.
Very nicely put together. Cool chops and nice tone on the guitar. Badhuman smokes on the bass! Very cool funk track Paulkeus and a great mix too! Great collab.
This reminds me of something Alice Cooper would have done back in the day. The subject matter, the sound just put me in that frame of mind of early rock/metal. The bass sounded great and I liked the vocals. Nice track, catchy, cool, creepy.
You know, Wayne, I never really made the Cooper connection with this song till you mentioned it. You just might be right ~ I used to be a roadie for Cooper back in the 70's, and he's still one of my favorite artists. I think I need to redo some of the vox though. I just got a better mic and some new mastering progs, so some of my older stuff is probably going to get a "going over" sooner or later.
Thanks for the listen and review, bro. I really do appreciate it when talented guys like yourself take the time to check out my work.
The guitars were perfect for this track as well as the nature sound effects. There were some some nice breaks and changes that kept the song moving right along and made me want to listen to the very end!! Although dance isn't my most faved genre, tracks like this really make me open my eyes to all the talent on this site, great job bmw!!
Thanks for this review, i do try hard to make my music stand out, i don't like to sound like others, i like to always be one step different, very glad you liked it enough to listen to the end, thats how i like my music to be heard.
Ya man, you really captured the feeling of East meets West. The guitar with the sitar is a cool combination. I really liked the intro and the Asian stringed instruments you used throughout the song. Interesting blend of instruments here but it seems to work great!
Thanks for your review, much appreciated, yes i try make good tunes, and i think any instrument blend sounds good if you put your mind to it. Glad you like the guitar and sitar.
Sweet track, just beautiful! I love this type of music, I listen to a local folk radio station all day at work(if it comes in)and this would sound great on that station next to the likes of Dylan and Gordon Lightfoot. You guys are a great combo, I'll have to check out some more of your tracks!
I like the song idea, some really cool things going on here. I like the lead! Personally, I like to hear the vocals a little more centered in the mix, like how you centered the lead around 1 min. Just my opinion.
Overall I thought it was a cool track. Keep working on the mix, I think you could tweek it a bit more.
Wayne
Reply: Well I was thinking balanced centering. Not sure, but did you double the vocal track and seperate it or is it a stereo widening effect, a delay? I'll usually just widen the stereo field a bit and add a bit of reverb to my vocals , that's it.
Hi the Humps, thanks for the tips. I've listening what everyone has said and have edited the song each time. I understand when you say you'd like the voice more 'centered' you are talking about 'balance centering' (or pcenter of the song? laced in a different place) in . Thanks for taking the time to listen and to comment. emann
Replay: thanks for clarifying that for me. You're right, i sterio micked that voice (double tracked) and somewhere had read to balance the to 100% L &R. I'll edit the song again and give what you said a try. Thanks again, emann (this kind of comment is very useful)
Like a breath of fresh air, amazing! Pretty song, nice melodies throughout. Liked the delay on the guitar, subtle but effective. I just love playin' with delays, multitap delays are fun.
Sweet track, great collab with SpellJammer. Everything feels right about this track. dl an fav! thanks!
Thank you so very much Wayne! At the end of the day I hope to make music that feels right and is enjoyable to listen to.Collabs have allowed me to play music I love with great people like SpellJammer.
I think fusion might be the right choice for what is offered. I would agree with you that world music or new age would better describe it.
It def has some nice ethnic sounds and percussion and the guitar added a nice touch to the first part of the song with more of a straight up beat. I like the title too. Overall, I liked it, sweet track, would have dl'd it if offered so I'll just fav it. Nice job putting this together ParkerMusic!
When the drums kicked in and the song picked up it took me by surprise, wasn't expecting that. A good surprise! I liked the bass sound you used and the lead was rockin'. Cool track MADVICKO!
Thank you! When I worked on the first part of the song I started to feel emotion of the chorus, how is it to be a completely lost in reality so I figured it be good to speed up the thing and to add some strong feel to song...Thank you again, looperman is a great place and it motivates me to make some more music...

"You ain't got a thing if you ain't got that swing"
Nice track! Louis Prima is one of my favorite artists of all time so I love all kinds of swing beats. It really does have an old time feel to it, nice recording!
Powerful track, loved the harp and vocal pads. The cello and strings were nicely placed in this. I might suggest a little eq on the overall mix, it sounds a little hot on the mids and highs, maybe redo the mastering if you mastered it. Overall very cool track!!
Did you use a reverse clap sound at the beginning? That was a cool effect or sound you used on that. Nice to hear vocals on this that you did yourself, they are fitting for the track.
I'm on Spiv's thinking, the vocals could be a bit louder and maybe mixed in a little better with some interesting effects. Sounds as if you are still working it out so I'm looking forward to hearing it after you work it out a bit.
Nice track, nice mix, upbeat but still has a chilled out, relaxed feel to it. cool.
i did i used a reverse clap at the start and tweeked it loads to get a different sound ! nice spot !! thank you for the kind words on my vocals but it was just a rough idea , i want a female to sing this instead, i am still working on the track, i always post my on the fly ideas which is why i never mixed or mastered it even but i like other guys to do that instead to get a sure quality, thank you for the kind words an stoping by my friend :)
Way to go man, much better. Sure is an interesting mix of genres you blended up here. A little dub, chillout, alt rock, even cinematic, I could hear this in a sci-fi or drama film. Parts of it reminded me of DePeche Mode a bit! Well done!
Strong rhythm to the track with the snare blazin' the way. I liked the low piano notes offsetting the high strings. Cool track, I like the feel and atmosphere you have in this track!
The overall output seems a bit too loud, I would lower the master volume a bit. The track sounded cool though, there are some nice elements that would stand out with some more attention to the dynamics of the instruments and evening of the mix a bit.
Cool sounding track and song idea. I would like to hear the drums a bit louder in the mix but overall pretty good. Sounds like a local alt band from the 90's where I live, I liked their sound.
I actually feel kind of honoured to get a review like that. Being compared to ANY rock band from the 90's makes me happy, as that's probably my favourite time period for music. Thank you very much. :D
