Haha yeah you have that right about being in my element. I love all kinds of music but it's true that I probably get more enjoyment out of making these funky jazzy fusion type tracks.
Thanks for taking the time to listen and review and for downloading too.

Just love how benevolent this is...warm and gentle, really pleasant on the ears here, good stuff as always, you haven't lost your amazing touch....must admit I like your edgy tracks lol but I am hungover today and feeling a little tender...so this is just the stuff! keep up the good work K
Koukotsu
Koukotsu replied Unknown
Being a typically benevolent and gentle person, this is the sort of sound I tend to gravitate toward, lol.

But yeah, there is nothing wrong with a little variety every now and then!

Sorry to hear about the hangover! I stopped drinking altogether about 2 years ago but I remember how horrible they can be, lol.

Thanks a bunch for the review, I'll make sure to repay you real soon, I'm getting really behind!

on sniping in Central Asia by DanGoldstein
This has a familiarity that I cant put my finger on, a cracking start to something conceptual, downloading, with your permission would be cool to have a go at remixing and extending this, let me know first, cool sound. cheers.
DanGoldstein
DanGoldstein replied Unknown
hey salook. thanks for taking a listen. i hear the tambour giving way to a less driving beat, the solo instrument becoming part of this less driving groove, and adding some background color. then bringing back original groove like a refrain with some variation, then breaking into something epic for a conclusion. did you ever do anything with this puppy? midisparks

Too cool, I grabbed the stems for this a few days ago, great idea posting in the forums, thought I would start the remix without listening to the original first, try and get influence from the material provided rather than the track itself...curiosity finally getting the better of me now lol...agree with Uberstrat, very clean sounds, perfect choice for a remix, cool to hear how the audio is arranged originally, love what you do to bro, will be sure to post mine when its finished in the forums, thanks for the motivation! peace.

Hiya,
I really hope you can make something using one of the pellas. I would say don't feel you have to use the whole pella...I've heard some really good tracks just using a line or two of the vocals. I'm glad you enjoyed this. Thanks for adding to your faves :)

Yeah I made this track last year sometime I think. I just came across it when I was having a sort out and thought I would upload it as it never got an airing back then. I would probably do some things differently now, but I'm glad you enjoyed it.
