I never got into my rave music till i was in my late twenties like you hated that thump thump sound but with other elements in it its quite bearable
you learrn something new everyday i never knew it originated from the Chicago esp in the 70s just shows you.

Thanks, kinda warming up. Been in a laid back mood I guess.

Yeah I played around a bit with the instrumentation and BPM. I first recorded a version that was a bit faster with more guitar, then went to the piano to practice playing it live (solo) and decided it needed a slower build-up... and as I recorded that I felt it needed power chords again ;)
I'm happy with the way it sounds now although I'm going to redo some of the vocals.
