haha, groovy it is! hadda listen after seeing the pf ref in the description! glad i did, too! that bassline and the floating vibes are killer. abstract developments but a totally natural flow.
I was inspired by the movie "Into the Wild". I used some old samples of my guitar that I played many years ago and the voice you hear in the second part is a very old rhyme that a friend of mine sent me as a voice message via whatsapp.
a moving theme underpinned by harsh martial beats and tense atmosphere. on-point, man. i listened to a bbc radio piece a few days ago. it was recorded in a train station where people were trying to get across the border to poland. the sound almost made me drive off the road. this could serve to score that awful scene.
Hello Xstokes,
you should take some of the credit
for the style of music I post on LM.
When I first got on LM in 2019 I listened
to your freestyle approach to tracks, those
tracks of yours were fresh and creative. I love it.
Thank you for your listen and encouraging comments.
this is mean, man! i can’t get over the vox performances, they sat perfectly in the beat. is this you and the two guys from that video you showed me with you walking places in it? i want you to make a video for this one too!
your comment mean a lot for me bro, thank you. No, That's me bro, i also made the beat. I don't know yet if i gonna make a video for it, but if i did i'll tell you.
Yes!! The curli-q solo is the best name for it! Hahaha im very happy you enjoyed it and am always grateful for your thoughts about the track!! Keep rocking and making this world a better place! Much love man!
haha, had to stop and treat myself to the dcd vid of this! i like what you’ve done with this, esp the vox treatment. that i think is the best element of the track, the timbres are really wild. cool work.
hi! wow, the opening came on like the last temptation of christ ost — really cool. i love the bassline kicking in and the slow blooming lushness this accrues. the piano/sax motif is brilliant. great sounds!
Julio, what a nice surprise! that title says it man this immediately had me flashing on good times. warm and breezy, a groove to bask in all day, and the sax lines are gorgeous and damn very tastefully done.
Ha ha, yes that's something I need to do periodically. Hopefully you'll get a chance to check my feature track too. Again, very cool to hear from you again.
Michael, hermano, la luz acabo de verla ahora, con tu presencia, la alegría es tan grande que me siento iluminado. tú has sido quien me ha disipado la niebla y la tristeza. Gracias hermano por volver a tu casa y con tu familia en la distancia. Paz y salud.
Thanks Michael - I did lots of lead over the track and edited down - really couldnt find a stronger bass line but it is the best I could do with the time and skills I have atm
Appreciate the listen and the warm feedback
