More like takes dubstep in a completely awesome direction. Very well done, and I'm glad you didn't write it with the "Bass must be the dirtiest, bassiest bass evar" mindset that I've noticed with a lot of dubstep, it's well balanced.
Great description, gave me a laugh. Awesome song, as TLRv said the vocals are top-notch and over all the song has a great energy to it. And the fact that that wobble is awesome goes without saying. faved and DL'd.
Don't know why but the beginning of this track reminds me of God is Gonna Cut You Down by Johnny Cash. Very nice wobble and glitchy-ness is always a plus in my book. Gonna be a good track.
Definitely glitchy, that's for sure. Sometimes some of the sounds seem to be clashing and not following any rhythm and when it goes calmer and quieter the transition is a bit off sounding to me, but a pretty good track none the less.
Not what I was expecting but great none the less. I'm probably missing out on a lot listening on craptastic headphones but there are sleeping people nearby and this track deserves to be cranked to 11. Good show.
For some reason this track makes me think of some kind of bizarre twisted kids show where everyone's dead but they try to make everything all happy anyway... in a good way. I really like it, it's different and original which are the two best qualities a track can have, in my opinion.
That's an interesting take on this song! At the time I was wishing I had a wine merchant, so I could get some quality wines haha. Different and original is quite a compliment! Thank you so much for your helpful comments and for listening!
Really nice track, i like the pace of it. Although the alarm clock noise somewhere around 3:30-4:00 sounds exactly like my alarm which always gives me a weird feeling. Outstanding.
Why, thank you, Drakarta. I appreciate the listen and review. I actually spent about a week trying to get the guitars right. They still didn't turn out exactly like I wanted, but I'm fairly satisfied with 'em.
Definitely needs some mixing work done, at times the vocals just aren't cooperating with the rest of the music if you get what I'm trying to say. Also, at the beginning the transition around 12 seconds is a bit awkward, but you said yourself that this is a very rough track, and it sounds like it's going to turn out very nicely.
This is a great track, like really great. I've listened to it like 3 times now. It sounds kind of new waveish, but it really wouldn't be too hard to imagine hearing this coming out of a 1950's jukebox. Really awesome job.
Thanks brother. I have to confess that it took a shedload of time to put together, and a trip to a recording studio, which costs bucks of course. Its sometimes worth it though, just to hear a tune of yours in a different location.
