What's going on BB? I appreciate the listen and the time. I haven't had a lot of time to do some listening, but you know you're on the list to check out soon. Yes, I do all the guitar work on my tracks. I rarely use samples in my productions, not that I'm prejudice against the artists that do, I have much respect for the artists that can sample write and make it sound as though they have some knowledge of music theory and understand chords and how they function. I'm Shure you understand when I say by playing a melodic instrument, we know what chord makes you feel a curtain way or put you in a particular mood. If I did use samples more often, I would just make up my own. LOL. Thanks again for the stop by and listen. PEACE. T576 OUT.
That's incredible. I'm glad you got out of the dark period. Remember we all have those, remember you're not alone, and remember you can always reach out.
And I'm glad you found inspiration for your music. Usually that dies when you are in such a period, but it can also aid in the recovery when you're ready... and it seems it worked for you.
Fantastic track. Ping me when your EP is out!
It sounds great! Your singing is really good, and I think the melody fits perfectly. Thanks for bringing my lyrics to life in such a different yet cool way!
You're welcome to do that. Please mention me in the description as the creator of the lyrics. Feel free to send me a link to the result! I'm looking forward to listen to it!
Definitely noted, I wanted to do something to switch up what was going on and I thought that perhaps that hit it, but it seems many other shares the same opinion so I may do just that.
I expect this has changed quite a bit since my last comment, because I recognise none of my niggles, but I do still love them guitars. Great job my friend!
BaoBou. Thanks for giving this one another listen. Right I’ve done a little rearranging and some fine tuning. Guitar’s? Yeah my guitar hero fix is in effect LOL! Now on another note…… wait till I send you the draft of your track I’ve been working on. Peace.
I heard it.
Now let's address the passive-aggressive part of your message ;)
Yeah, it's not so easy to get heard in the music world. But at least on Looperman you can help that a bit by setting your track to featured.
Now will people use your track for a rap? probably not, there are many more beats than rappers, but at least you can take an acapella from that section and fit it to your track. That also helps you to make more sense of your own track and learn about structure.
Finally... do your own vocals. It's tough, but if you get something good you'll be extra proud.
And finally finally... try to make music because you like it, not because others like it. Much more fulfilling :)
Thank you for your feedback. I wish more people would give feedback. But as far as making music for myself and not other people. Everything I make is because I like doing it. It's always for me. And that's why my structue is the way it is all the time. I try not to worry about that kind of stuff. Not to say that it's not good to know about all things but I feel if I try to follow a common structure then I'm not making it the way I like it, which in turn makes me feel like I'm not making it for me
The sample you used is amazing. I'd definitely make your vocals louder and decrease the level of the fake hats, or possibly find some drum loop here on Looperman. I think that will fit better with the Motown loop.
Good luck!
First off, I had fun jamming along with my giitar to your track, that was cool. I was quite surprised about your modulation from F#m to Bbm, but that definitely worked.
If you like, you could send me your track and I'll send you back a couple actual guitar licks - and if you think they're useful you can incorporate parts into your track. Let me know!
Hello BaoBou, thank you for listening. I indeed didn't use the official blues scheme.. And I love the idea of you jamming along with it, thanks for your offer! But I think I'll leave it like this for the moment. It was a little test with two new free plugins I found and I already published it on my accounts. I actually prefer real guitars, so I hope you don’t feel offended.. :-)
