Better and better. I love that you inspired me and I inspired you - in very different ways but still creative.
Sent you a link, let me know if you want the stems!
Very exciting track - and you inspired me. I'm sure you won't recognise it when (if) I post it later, but I jammed a bit to the start of your track and I'll have to record that.
The second half with the eerie female vocal is very good!!
Good vocal - you have a good voice! But the loop appears to be basically only one 4 bars repeated throughout the song, and if you could vary that a bit more I think you have a stronger track! Good luck!
Different account, same guy. I like this one better I think! Although the vocal is a bit hidden in the mix. I think you could pop that a bit more, the voice is quite delicate so you can give it a bit more space.
Anyway, who cares, I'm an amateur, you're the pro :D great stuff Jens!
Holy shakes, so much good music! Some days it's all stuff I don't like and today just one master track after the next. EXCELLENT stuff, here's another fav!
NICE! It's compressed to the max, and I wouldn't mind to have a bit more headroom in the dynamics, but EXCELLENT vocals and guitars and everything. Pro stuff!
There are very few songs that manage with only one chord progression. Generally you'll have one for a verse and another for a chorus; you might have a prechorus and a bridge too. In some cases an intro or outro again may have a variation.
Obviously they should all be somewhat related, and if you feel it's not necessary then you don't, it's your music after all, but listen to what your favorite artists do. Often a bit of a difference keeps the listener more interested :)
It's very funky, so I like it! :)
The bass loop is great, but it's now everywhere throughout the track. You could consider to give the "do it right" portion a different bass (maybe a 5th lower?) or maybe the part from 1:00. That way you get a bit of breathing room for the listener.
But lovely stuff!
I guess I never thought about how the bass may be a bit repetitive because of the vibe that the vocals create on the track, but thanks for listening and giving feedback.
Hey thanks. Yes, I contemplated increasing the tempo but wanted to stay true to the general Synthwave BPM. It didn't sound right at the faster tempo anyway. I stuck with 105 in the end. Thanks again!
Happy Diwali/Deepavali!
TikTok crushes don't seem like a healthy idea, but at least it gave you a nice track ;)
It's distorting a bit in my cheap headphones though. Can you check if anything is in the red?
And great vocals!
I love that. Great groove and some nice vocals. I think you can bring out the "oohohh" background vocal a bit more.
Great trumpet too!! Live, sample or plugin? I can't seem to find any decent brass any time I look (and I hate searching for them).
Great stuff! fav'ed!
Nice! The vocals could be a bit louder in the mix I feel, but if you say "no tricks", do you also mean no mixing?
Also, you could consider to build up the instruments bit by bit, and say at 2:25 you could consider the opposite: take out all instruments and just have the vocals for the last bit?
That's really good and way too short - you may not actually have intended for it to ende so abruptly, or was that part of the "demo" project? In any case, promising!!
I love the honesty in the first comment, I litterally had that whole thought about the open mic tour today because of your comment I was able to conceive the idea. So never hesitate to say what you feel.

Btw I see my comment may have come across as quite rude, but there's a perfectly good reason for that: I'm a total dickhead.
What I mean to say is: I always enjoy your tracks! But somehow I seem to have forgotten to write that, my apologies!!
