The kick/snare pattern grabs you right away and the 80s arp works well on it. And I'm a bit fan of Junior Paes, she (?)always has these amazing acapellas! C'est tres bien tout ca!

You've got me hooked right away. I think you've outdone yourself!! This is a fantastic start to the new year - everything is crisp and clear and exciting and new and different - the vocal coming in at exactly the right time and loudness. This feels very pro and radio-ready! No idea if you had a plan to bring this out on Spotify or something but I think it would need only very minor tweaks!

As you can hear, I don't know what I want or need, and if I get either, I'm not sure I want to give it away lol. Anyway, thanks so much. I'm very glad you enjoyed it. l did some minor edits on the vocal arrangement and synth and guitars at the back end of it, not that you'd probably notice on another casual listen. This is the only place I put my music by the way. I don't see the point in putting it on Spotify or anywhere else, they're just a black hole unless you're Taylor Swift.

Honestly? I think if you speed this up to around 135 BPM you have an absolute fire track (I tried it quickly in Ableton and holy ##### that's good).
Clearly that's not what you intended, and that also sort of works, but I feel I need something to give the track a bit more punch. Maybe a bit less compression on the master track?
In any case, great work and glad you brought it out!

Good slow build-up and then the pay-off after 1:39. One really weird thing, and I'm sure it's my brain, not my track; I somehow can't fully process the kick/hats in the beginning; the hats and the kick seem to have a different tempo - which I'm sure is not the case.

Absolutely epic. And it made me realise I really should consider to work with tools like ezdrummer or superior drummer. Those drums make a YUGE difference over my standard Ableton packs.
I assume you can use them with midi, so I can still drum on my kit, then transform it in such a tool?
Anyway. Your track survived 6 years with ease. Congrats and happy new year!

Bao, how are you?
I would suggest it. Highly. I still have the first edition of Ezdrummer and it still gets the job done. I imagine by now the newer versions are even better and have much cleaner workflow. If you end up pulling the trigger and getting one, let me know what you got and if you like it.
