great groove, before there was melody there was beat, and the rest glides on it, really cool and hot. The proof tha a short track leaving you wanting more es better than a good track too long. See its my turn to have fun.
Dizzy, you are a pro, this is great, again the emotion, the arrangments everything is good, now it's going to be hard to do something with the acca because your track is so strong but I will have a go at it for sure, love your performance, and what a great choice of words from Dr. King, truly a very deep track, bravo mein Freund.
a pro? well, i'm not....but thx! I'm always happy to hear nice words from a great musician like you!!! Thats my inspiration for doing more tracks....thx man!!! the accapella is in validation-status right now....I#m waiting to hear your version!!!! peace my friend
great vocal performance, I always say music is not about how many notes a second you can play but about emotion and this vocal performance makes this track full of it, good production very compressed but this style calls for it so I wont give you my lecture about compression and limiting on a mix, great groove but the vocals are the star of this track what makes it all work.
thank you very much dude! i made the beat and i figured vocals would be mad good in there so i just did it up and made up some words as i went along. im glad you enjoyed it :P
Hey my friend you still have it, great electro vibe with the great mr.Robot drum track, I really love the flute you know me with wind istruments it provide emotion in a mechanical world, like the breathing that brings life, I wish there was more of it but I rather have you make me want more than over use it to kill the magic it brings, I think this is you strongest asset, like the melody you created for our track, beautiful work the production sounds fine, very roomy, you create space with your parts and the drum very compresse but perfect for this type of groove. Talk to you soon. Tonight judging the music contest, its Death Metal night, lol. Yes check out my new track I Will Take Away The Pain! very much in the genre of mirrors, with lots of sax again, lol. Peace Love and Freedom Looperman.
great euro trance track, reminds me a lot of the Daft Punk project Interstella 5555 (featuring Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger) an Anime from Leiji Matsumoto. A lot of the tracks have the same kind of vibe, and this is good, sounds very pro., if you want to hear someone really ruin an Epise acapella check my track Shorty's Blues I used him on a traditional blues track, I'm really weird sometimes. LOL. Peace Love and Freedom Looperman.
this is funky serious jamming, great base but amazing guitar arragments man I hate the fade out I want more more more, no rap or voice more guitar, amazing job well done from the performance to production.
great track, great production, arragments, love the cello like string melody, love the drums deep in reverb, great story telling and you know I much that counts for me, I really felt like you told me a musical story full of emotions and suprises. Love the breaks creates tension, all goooooood. Great job.
hows the weather on the west coast, here in MontrÃÂal its springtime, again my friend great production, great use of everybody's muse Holly, but again coit interuptus (very bad latin) I'm waiting for something to supprise me and BAM cut to black, I want you to tell me a story you have the talent the creativity I'm going to be blunt, I think your a little bit lazy and get tired to quickly, push yourself to go further. (check out my use of the same aca track but I used also another of her aca and used her words to say something different, I think its still on my profile its Dimanche Matin but the vocal version, I just took the vocals and laid them on top of something that I had already composed, it was in the right key, I think, lol, sounded right to me. Take care, BigPete.
great groove great production, CINEMATIC are you kidding me, I hate labels but this is pure dance floor music with an attitude, I don't want to sit down to watch the movie! I WANT TO GET UP AND DANCE CRAZY!!!!!! Love the edginess of the track, it has balls, remind me of The Ting Tings, I hope you put together a track with an intro, break and finale, great artistic work again the fav bin. Peace Love and Freedom.
Hey Friend:)
It was funny, to write your review:)))) Thanks a lot!!!:))))) i will think about the bit taste, to make it some kind of dance floor music:) It is interesting think...:)
This is very well arranged in a modern way rock, very smart and beautiful, you know how to tell a musical story, its all there, great guitar work, maybe add some tabla to the rhythm section its got a bit of that world flavor. Great job love the track going in the fav bin. What is loop and what did you play on the track, I'm curious, I don't play any instruments (well).
Hello BigPete!:)
Thank you so much for review!!
Actually I don't remember what exactly loops i put there, when i make tracks, i looking for thousands of sounds, to manage that one, and than another one, and another....what is the most nice, for my point of view, to be on this track...
I'm so happy about that you like it....
sorry folks this is blues, yes it feels chill out but this is blues, nice guitar work, Eric Clapton style, nice progression of the melody line, nice chill out moment listening to blues, I hate all the tags!
Blues it is ! I chose chill out because of the slower chord progression, didn't think it would quite make it into blues. Either that or fusion but the sad feel pushes into blues. Thanks for taking the time to listen and review. appreciated
great to hear the blues, I love the blues and try to do it justice when I try my hand at it using only loops, this is the real thing, great guitar work and arragements sound very clean. Please as a real blues man check out my blues on my profile (easy to find there is always blues in the title I have 4) and tell me if I did an ok job trying to recreate a sound I love.
Thanks a lot for checking out one of my blues tunes. I do somewhat of a variety of music as you may have seen in my profile.
I appreciate your comments very much and will certainly check out your tunes as well. I am at work now, so can't easily. I will later today.
I use a combo of my various guitars including a Dobro I bought last year. Since I also play pedal steel, Dobro slide is easy and natural for me.
Sometimes I use harmonia loops too.
So later then and thanks again for dropping by.
Randy
I'm going to be dead honest, great track lyrics great flow, great acoustic groove a la Wyclef or WiLL.I.Am your track holds up to them anytime, PLEASE GET RID OF THE AUTOTUNE, get a nice girl to sing with you ask Lauren Hill, lol, really its overused and you melody deserves a way better treatment, its a beautiful melody, its a beautiful track, I know autotune is the hip toy but I think its already getting old fast. Please your track would be so much more human, its a human emotion track, ok I think I made my point, still love it a lot.
Steevo strikes again with a great dancefloor track, you had me boucing at 9 am, great use of the vocals (love Holly) the way you fitted her in the arrengments, great electro vibe to the production, mixed perfect, great job Steevo.
First love the Bio, and I'm 50 and just decided to share my creations so please share, and this is a great place to do it people listen, love the track, the procuction sounds intense like the mood of the track, I think creating the mood for a track is a lot about arrengments here it works, wish there was more of it, great intro lead me into a great beat but it does feel done half way, you lead us somewhere and then leave us there and we feel kind of lost, maybe thats the sense you wanted to create, but I want more.
You know what i completely agree, i should definatly have gone somewhere else after the drop!!!
I guess i figured if it were to be used for a promo or trailer it would be guetting faded out shortly after the break, so i didnt dwell on it too much, but thhis is very true. i like how you worded that too, you know your stuff alright!!!
Thank you for you honest review, i appreciate it alot, And keep up the good work!!!
this is crazy like Krautrock meets the hood, great track, very german approche to the arrangements, I always was a fan of the german shcool since the early 70, Popol Vuh, Tangerine Dream and of course the masters Kraftwerk, you are todays incarnation of a great tradition and sound, really great job.
hey, big pete, thx for listening again to my track!! you re right, kraftwerk are gods!!!!
its funny you say, theres a big german influence in my music, because i was listening to american, canadian, british music.....well, i can't denie my roots!!
thx, again, Peace to canada!!1
dizzy
love the bass line with that kick, really the secret of a good dance song, I can't get to do one everytime I try it ends up something else, you created a real gem of London dancefloor madness I like to call, love the production I feel as if I was on the dancefloor, evrything works but you got to get a better ending, its like you tell this amazing story and the punch line is just ok not great like the rest of the track.
I'm staying ok I'm staying, I like it, the hook stays with you even if he left. Great fragile vocal performance, never going over the top, just the right tone of sadeness.
Sure easy, if you can play the piano and have 15 fingers!!!!!!!!! Damn I wish I took piano lessons, this is great stuff, since you don't have any merrit in playing the piano so easy, I'll tell you you did a great job arranging your track, love the bip at the beginning and end, great touch, maybe the arregments are more complicated then the piano but the piano is f!!!***??? amazing (sorry). its someting to play quick but still give the sense of emotion thats playing piano, I could feel it, I'll say it again, music is not about notes, its about emotion.
Haha thanks Pete! I definitely agree: music is not just about the notes you play, but it should also be about how one feels. It should not be measured by how much it follows the dictations of the mainstream, but by how much it follows the dictations of your soul.
this is Sublime, and it reminds me of Sublime, California beach campfire, sufer dude with is guitar, ganja and grafefruit tea. Would mix perfect with my track Summer Harmonies, its a download, thanks.
I like it when people go outside the boundaries in arragements, I'm to square a lot of time in my music, this shows what amazing soundscape you can create when you dare, sometimes it does not work, but here it does, great production and sound helps, this has it all, good job.
great sound production beat arrengments, this is not kid stuff, pure ambiant mood, lots of beats but never to agressive just makes you want to fly fast but with ease, wow, so many great loopers around the world and not enough time. Great work. Love the build up everytime the melody comes in there is something new to hear it seems. I'm taking notes. I'd love to make this type of sounding production not there yet but I'll work on it inspired by this kind of production.
you're kidding me you liked my stuff, man this is the real thing I try to copy, the funk the real funk with soul, that you like mys tuff is sureal because you are funk, not just the smell, welcome to my fav bin. I'm a fan. The Funk with this guy he'll funk you up good
Thanks for the listen and review!! I'm glad you enjoyed! I got the Funk and you got the Funk!! As someone stated earlier to me "If you Ain't got it in you - It Ain't gonna come out" You got !! I know I listened!!
