This is nice Stephane - it does have a very western feel to it, partly because of that tremolo guitar sound. I agree with Wayne too - it has a live feel about it. Good one!

Great stuff Dave! I had a blast playing on this!!! I'm lucky to have (that rarest of musicians on looperman) another purveyor of fusion to work with.

Cool mate!...there's not too many fusionistas left or so it seems...but always remember one thing,it's very easy to slip your hat on backwards but it's a tad more difficult to slip on an axe and get away with it! lol..cheers buddy Dave :)

on The Joy in Little Things by n0mad23
I like this one a lot. It has the swirling ambience and cyclical rhythm of your "Dancing in the dreamtime" - both of which remind me of native American indian tribal dance music (minus the chanting). Thinking about it - the addition of some chanting (conservatively applied) might work on these type of pieces - at least it may be worth experimenting with...

Cheers, Jamie

Hi Jamie - I think I've finally let this one sit and gestate long enough to come back to it. I hadn't considered adding chants, but this has really got me thinking. Might be a great bridge for me in an attempt to "find my voice" again! I keep thinking that vocals are what I really need to infuse the human spirit into what I'm doing, so thanks for putting that idea into my head! Thanks much for the fave here - it's the compliment that inspires me to stretch out and try more!
