Radio friendly unit shifter, not my style of music by a million miles BUT really good, great playing and orchestration, the double vocals are spot on and your brother can reeally sing. To me it is a crap song to listen too but to create something like this; i could not do that in a million years.
Think this needs vocals indeed. I'm a pretty sucky singer myself, you should just go for it (diy) or check out a tune of mine and let me know if you wanna collab
i see a lab and a whole bunch of bunnies in cages flopping their little tails while the mad scientist is raving his head off trying to create a single cell organic dj machine
Well that is a very interesting comment, to say the least! You are not too far off in describing some recent moments, though there are a few flaws. First, I would never participate in animal testing... at least beyond closing up all of the windows if my cat is acting sick and sniffing the air. In my lab, I am working on a sort of groove box, in a single enclosure, though I don't think that I'd go so far as to say "single cell organic." The "mad scientist is raving his head off" part is pretty accurate most days... seems that I must choose one - ranting or raving. I fully appreciate this honest impression of my song, thank you!
I've got this sampler from exotica (label) whish does strange remix type songs for exotica music; this would fit in there. I really like the change in 3.43 going from oriental trippy to arab dancy and although it will be a long intro i think some heavy dubstep should kick in at 4.44
This should have vocals about murder betrayel and some more murder; got a nick cave feel to it so that's why. Cool piggy sound for the bass, i like the grawl.
"....and some more murder" lol! Nick Cave reference, dig that.
"Piggy sound"? Can't say I've ever heard that expression. :) The growl that the bass guitar has is just how the Fender Jazz bass guitars sound. Mine is the Jaco Pastorius 1962 reissue, well know for it's exceptional tone. They were designed by Fender to compete against the Rickenbacker electric bass that was very punchy and bright and was popular and sold well at the time.
I go from the guitar into my bass amp, direct line out into my Focusrite Saffire pro then into my mac through lightening connection and am starting to get the punch and tone the Jazz bass is know for being, the best bass guitar in the world. I don't use any pedals or software to enhance it, other than some eq and compression in Ableton.
This ... this is the story of Emily, this is a picture of her mother holding her when she was 5 yrs old with smiling dad in the background. Emily has a loving family; ups and downs but they are there for one another. her dog Benzi has been there since she got her on her 7th birthday. One day Benzi will die... but she has a loving family and on that day they will be there for one another.... : )
strangly enough i think it's a mix between a system of a down and dream theater like sound. The build up is really cool and i like the world music vibe it has. I wouldnt change a thing
strange and weird and surprising. Good stuff although the vocals are unclear. I like this chaos. Maybe check out knownothingsm by the maldaror collective, think you like that.
bit funky bit aggresive which is nice. Personally i expected some more sounds to kick in, it stays a bit empty for me. Gigging this should be done under a freeway exit pass with a lot of amphetemines : )
That is a seriously entertaining comment to read! It's funny, since a large part of the influence was Russian style malt beverage and amanita muscaria mushrooms directly from Russia. You must have a good ear! I hope you take a moment to check out the updated mix, since I think it's quite a bit better. Thanks for listening and leaving your words. It is appreciated!
