This really takes me back. But when the piano hit at the 2:05 mark. I felt I was truly in 1994! Here’s the lyric hook… “dancing control, move your body now. I wanna see that sweat sweat sweat. Dancing control, move your body now. Move it to the beat, just like that YEAH!”
Uh. Hands behind the wheel. Feeling’ really good. Smoking on that green, just the way I should. Bitches on my left, gangstas on my right. This beat so good make me wanna take flight. Dulcimer is music to my ears, take away my fears. Organ is bright, this beat is better played at NIGHT! Beatmaker!!!
Great track drip. Though if I’m honest I think the acapella takes away from your beat. I say scrap the verses and just keep the ad-libs. This beat is nasty!
This. Is. Awesome! I LOVE the female ethnic chant in the background. The drums are mastered to perfection. I like how you use the rimshot rather than a snare hit. The breakdown bridge and drum fill back into the beat made me feel I could take flight! My favorite part is that 2nd octave keys where your playing 5th chords. It along with the ethnic vox really ties everything together in this track. Favorited.
Thank you, O, for the listen and comment. It's the shaker. Sometimes in Smooth Jazz or any type of Jazz , something will sound a little off. It may be a high hat or piano etc. Unlike a House track, for instance, which is created from a strict musical blueprint where all elements are on point timing wise, and melodically, Jazz composition is more of a human feel concept and has odd timings that can be played in. You are verry observant. Thanks again. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Favorited! So much going on in this track. But my favorite is when you let the bass, drums and hi-hat run on its own. Then it comes in with that single note lead synth. Gets me pumped up. Also I noticed in one of your comment replies that you have trouble finding vocals @ 140bpm. Did you ever try looking at 70 bpm? Great work Critical!
That intro feels like a heavy metal intro; then it slams right into funk. Love it. Dope track. Bass guitar is phenomenal. Thought he was playing double bass pedal on the drums at times :D. The horn section is my favorite though. It ties and glues everything together.
Okay here comes my comment. Everyone brace yourselves! LOL! Nah, this beat is great! This is a JDilla/DJ premiere love child. Solid track. 10/10. Favorite. Good job Beatmaker the beat breaker.
Excellent track. Beautiful vox, chord progression is serene. Puts me in a pleasant disposition. Your tracks are always fun to listen to. Fav! Great work. Great mix and excellent collab.
Wow - a pleasant disposition is exactly what we wanted to achieve with the track...so far: mission accomplished!, Thanks for listening and the kind words.
Cheers
Great track! The drums slither and slice through the beat, the bass accents the drums. Solid. Keys and string section ties everything together beautifully. I like that 16th note pattern on the hi hat with the synth then it bursts back into the beat. Slammer. Fav.
