on running across the forest by MasanoriMurabayashi
good stuff. I agree with silverman, I here love and hope in this piece.
has a very nice melody and many layers. great for a video game of exploring or pre fight.

MasanoriMurabayashi replied 30th May 2017 - 8 years ago
Thanks for your comment in which includes 'layers'. Layers impose me a lot every time. Where is proper range each instrument sounds brilliant not hoarse, intervals band width of harmony? and what not. That time, I refer to Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Alan Belkin, Ravel, Sibelius and Grieg. They are pretty amazing. On you tube, Rick Beato explans very well. Thank you!

this song is filled with alot of emotion. this may not have been what you intended but this is what I take from this piece. the begining is very haunting and innocent. beautiful. when you get to 3:01 the snaps beat does seem a little off but that gave me a sense of a slowing of time among chaos.then the reality of events hits. the end is the coming together to help. strength and sadness. I am with tumbleweed on sad music can be the most beautiful bring forward our deepest emotions. great job.

Wow. great stuff. I get a mad max feel with this. it almost has a dubstep fell in the intro. great drums. when the battle horns trumpet, thats when I get the orcs and elves. have you ever put you music to video? you have the imagination for good story lines with your music. I try to put to video if I can and post on you tube.you can see some of them on my you tube channel

you have a great voice. the recording sounds like you sang it while driving. not if your looking foe some one to compose a song with this or if you just want someone to clean the sound. I mainly do cinematic music. you can get an idea of what I do by listening to some of my songs with vocals, and let me know.

Amazing song! vocals are great. the melody is superb. got a fav. just 1 comment and I am not a pro by any means. the recording seems to sound a little distant. mabe a EQ adjustment or maybe just me. any who, great song.

hey dan , very nice what you have done with the synth. and it is better at 133 bpm. I know the vocals are hard to work with but you have done a great job. I know it is not finnished but it is very tight now, great job. let me know if you need anything from me.

love the down and dirty hard sound. I love dubstep for the the deep slow beat and seemingly chaotic sound. compared to this my dubstep is dubstep light. nice job.

on Come And Find Me After Death by DijamMusic
synchronicity. I just got done watching a twisted comedy about people who commit suicide. they end up in a world like ours but all the jobs, cars, and weather sucks.1 guy killed himself over a girl and finds out she killed herself right after him. so he goes to find her. weird but good movie (wristcutters) then I see your title and had to listen. you bring up a deep subject. yes to the afterlife. what and how is it? don't know. but if there is no afterlife, isn't life pointless? you can debate this forever and you will never have every one agree. so that is as far as I'll take it. all that and I am just now commenting on this piece. this music is very mind wondering. could loose your self in it. I really enjoyed it. great job.

Hello mindhiest,
Thank you very much for your wonderful feedback and the enlightening thoughts.
I find it very interesting and I do hope that we will meet after our death.
Otherwise as Pete said “What is our agenda for living.”
According to our scientific community
Lead researcher Dr Sam Parnia said: "Contrary to perception, death is not a specific moment but a potentially reversible process that occurs after any severe illness or accident causes the heart, lungs and brain to cease functioning.
"If attempts are made to reverse this process, it is referred to as 'cardiac arrest'; however, if these attempts do not succeed it is called ‘death’."
Of the 2,060 patients from Austria, the US and the UK interviewed for the study who had survived cardiac arrest, almost 40 per cent said that they recall some form of awareness after being pronounced clinically dead.
Dr Parnia continued: "This suggests more people may have mental activity initially but then lose their memories after recovery, either due to the effects of brain injury or sedative drugs on memory recall.”
Mate I really glad you liked it.

Thank you, roland. The thing just blossomed when I took away the rest of the music, like clouds blown away from the sun. There's just something about her voice in this one... Interesting thought about the string drone - but when you've crossed the line you've crossed it and it's a slippery slope. A string drone leads to some piano accents leads to a bit of harmonica...and you're off to the races. Sometimes I say to myself, Do not cross that line, motherfucker! And so I don't. Thank you!

very good work. especialy for first time. you choose one of my fav genre. I just play around with dubstep so anything I say is from my point of view and not a pro view point. I thought mabe a low long bass growl on the bridge might sound good. I really like it better then any of my dubstep.

Idk whats going on but this seems to be the month for artists. I'm hearing so many amazing works. this is up high on my list. love the ambience of the guitar and the swamp atmosphere. I live in the bayou city (houston) so this is really soothing for me. love it

My absolute favorite thing about Looperman is the majority of us are just ordinary people working for a living making music simply as a hobbie. I've come across and collaborated with some amazing musicians from around the world on here over the years! We all have something we can learn from on another. Never thought of of Houston as a swamp city, always thought it was just a really big, developed and busy city. What do us hillbillies way up here in Maine know anyway ;) Thanks Mindheist! When I first heard cigar box guitars a year ago that was it I HAD to have one!!! Buying one wasn't an option either, had to be homemade. We do have a swamp out back with similar sounds, just no man eaters if you don't count mosquitoes and black flies. Summers can get quite hot 90s is enough for me! I heard a coyote yipping last night :D Ahhh the sounds of nature. Stay tuned for more northern played, southern inspired swamp blues :D

Such simple, crude instruments but with such a beautiful sound!! Oh yes, I'm always left wanting more and more anytime I hear cbgs played! I can't stop building and playing them myself :p When I get an album together (free) I'll make a forum thread with a download link. There's a bunch of cbg music up on you tube too. Here's Swampwitch album to enjoy all played on cbgs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDRQtBVMmI8
