on Never Ending Forest by Dreagoen

Yeah, electronic works as the genre. Maybe you wanna bring in those beats a little sooner, cuz I found myself waiting. Cool trippy song though! Very creative!

Dreagoen replied 16th Mar 2012 - 14 years ago

Thanks. I will.

on druming it out by chillimania

This is a really fresh take on DnB! I like your drum beats a lot, you can tell you put a lot of effort into them! Nice synth work too! Unusual bass line, but it gets me goin! Well done!

chillimania replied 14th Mar 2012 - 14 years ago

Thanks heaps mate. The drums took me hours to get it sounding right. Cheers Jez.

This is totally a feel good mix! Gets me ready for summer! Really uplifting! No need to listen to the original, because I can tell you did it much justice! Well done!

WongKiShoo replied 14th Mar 2012 - 14 years ago

Thanks a lot spiv :)

I am pretty proud of my contributions to the track :D .. if only I could write melodies like this, then I'd be set.

on Jive2012 by Vuduchylde

Never heard of Kwaito, but I'm lovin this mix! Great synth work! The rhythms are awesome! Cool vocals too! Thanks for expanding my horizons!

Vuduchylde replied 19th Mar 2012 - 14 years ago

Thanks for the listen Spivkurl. Kwaito is basically basically a hybrid of house and dance music (modified a little) whith rap-like vocals, usually in South African ethnic languages.

on Jah Dubguild by dv8

Now this is my kinda dubstep! I know it's best when stoned, but I'm still waiting on my guy... ha ha! Love the subtle basses! Great use of delay! This is so groovy! Definitely DLing, thanks for sharing!

dv8 replied 12th Mar 2012 - 14 years ago

hehe yeah I say it's best when stoned but that was an educated guess, haven't had the chance to smoke up in months now :(

Thanks alot bro, much appreciated.

Btw, do let me know what it's like with THC running through the speaker cables!

on Moments in space by FreeRadical

This is pretty awesome! I really like those sweeping synths, they're tasty like a toasted sammitch. Nice energetic vibe to the whole track! Very good arrangement, it takes me on a journey! Cool strings! What can I say except I like it!

FreeRadical replied 12th Mar 2012 - 14 years ago

"I like it" is good enough for me. I think i forgot to adjust the limiter though. It could use a bit more ceiling on it.
Glad you could stop by and give it a whirl.

Nice work for your first try at a genre! I like how you've used those wobble loops! Some of the loops you used don't seem to belong, but it's still a fun track to listen too. Good job!

Prech that mate. I took your advice and kept it minimal (without smothering it with multi-effects). Prech that! Glad ya dug it too. Lates!

A good example of jazzy house! Smooth! Would like to hear the vocals a little more out front, but it's good as is. Well done!

smallpaul replied 5th Mar 2012 - 14 years ago

Hi mate thanks for taking time to listen and review, im going to look into the levels as they do sound a bit quiet on the loop, they sound louder on my system i mix on so it just goes to show you!! It looks like a few other people enjoyed it too as they ve downloaded it. A compliment I suppose!!
