first time entering into the breakbeat genre, the beat is definitely cool and the little things you added, but after the first minute you could add some things to kill the repetiveness, there's probably a number things you could do, like adding a filtering synth that slowly creeps up in the background, that is if you have the CPU to do it. You can have stops with rave synths coming in maybe big and heavy, or maybe you can stutter those little voice parts with the beat like Skrillex does or other dbstep artists do, the beat is awesome though.
it sounds aboriginal, I like it, to me it sounds awesome, it could be made into a dubstep song, it sounds cool the way it is, it's something diferent, I'm wondering how you made it or was it already a song
"it could be made into a dubstep song,"
would it be possible? haha...
This song has a tribal atmosphere with instruments reminiscent of ancient societies, something like that.
Very grateful for the words, for listening and for fav.
I feel like I'm going back to Africa, it sounds worthy of being on the radio, excellent, I wish I could download it, so I could jam out to it in my house
I like the drop, I like the whole song, I think if you were to continue the song the second drop would have to be somewhat different from the first, I think that sometimes artists obsess about their work because they spend a lot of time making it when actually to the audience's ear it sounds ok, I like the drop, I was wondering, could I try to remix the song into an Islamistep song, it's not like I would finish it anytime soon, because I'm not gonna have alot of time these days or I'm not even sure I would even like the final remix enough to even wanna publish it, I just wanna know if the possibility is open, cool song dude it's catchy and fun
high on mushrooms, Amsterdam 2003 or 2004, in the hotel room, with the walkman on, cd player, listening to Astral Projection, I don't listen to trance anymore, but this time I just f%%k it, at 4:30 closed my eyes, started moving my head from side to side, back when you could see the stars in the sky, flying over the jungle, escape artist was at it again
This gave me acid flashbacks, frankenstein, I'm Aliiiiiiiive!!, meditation music, tranced out, 8:25 Willy Wonka midgit with an orange face from the original movie bowing down pushing on a bike pump as the chocolate jumps in the transparent tube, did you subliminalize me?
"acid flashbacks"... you and me both man. I do so love a good reanimated corpse! It is interesting that you bring up "meditation music." I have never been good at meditation, no matter how much a desire it. Most of the moments where I feel the singularity and infinity of life are when I am creating music. In this state, I know that it could go on forever, and I would simply be lost in particles and energy with anything else that exists. I used to enjoy the Wonka thing as a child, however my wife has traumatic experience with it, so I have not paid attention to it for decades. Your reference to the film did give me some perspective on the cinematic value of music such as this. I appreciate that. There was no conscious subliminal additions to these songs, however the EP as a whole does contain a conscious manipulation of incidental phrases, meaning that accidental inclusions were adjusted with intent. Thank you for taking a listen to these songs and leaving your comment!
this made me laugh out loud at first, just because all of a sudden after all the songs on the list, this one comes up, it stands out, this is like a throw back to Eazy-E or Dj Quick, or that one song I think it was by 2 Live Crew, the rap is cool, the beat's good and that little kind of Arabic melody is cool too
Wait a minute, you're from Canada, I thought you were British, I understand what you are trying to do, like you said in the description you're looking for a singer, but also just make your own version with you singing on it, it sounds kinda cool like retro or British or Mick Jaggerish or something, but put some equalizer on the vocals I can barely hear you, are you saying in the chorus "I'm gonna sleep all daaaayyy" is that what you're saying? maybe not, I'm listening without headphones with my laptop speakers, make you're own version dude, who cares if you're nor Adelle? the beat and melody are great,
Hi, Igor. Thanks for the encouragement. I've been told that I sound a bit like Leonard Cohen. Except he sang on key. :) There are no actual words in the vocal. All nonsense sounds. I think I might try re-recording the vocals once I develop some lyrics.
in the beggining it's like video anime music mixed with Offspring or something, is that you singing? forgive me if I don't recognize the singer, I like the dubstep parts at 1:20 and 2:48, then at 1:52 it get's all Christmasy, overall it's pretty good
It's groovy, don't be afraid to go into a totally different melody and stuff, just groove with it, that way you'll be able to finish the track, looking foward to hearing the whole song
Hey, this is the kind of song that you start listening to it, but then you stop realizing that youre listening to it and then towards the end you forgot that had been listening to anything at all, but then you realize that the song had influenced your entire thought process for the last minute and a half without you realizing it, cool oriental sound
Interesting thoughts.
Thanks for taking the time to listen to this song, it's not something common, but sometimes it's interesting to listen to new things.
thats a cool new sound, that veeow vwaa veeow, sounds cool I like towards the end you have like a video game sound, maybe add a sub bass to it while we hear the veeow vwaa veeow, btw Im listening to it right now in a cyber cafe with headphones on as oposed to in my house with the laptop speakers on,
well I dont know who made what, because I went to youtube to look for the original and I found various, but this one has a happier feel to it, and with this track, it's the first time I heard it, the song is fun and the rhythm too, I wish I could download it
This sounds like Kid Rock, or Monster Magnet, maybe if you want to make it commercial you need a catchy hook with a chorus, both the music and rap are good quality
