Hi Bleep
Sure i know front 242. I am a child of the early 80's and i listen to them first time in 1981 :)
I have not noticed that there is, in this song, a connection.
Thanks for your info. Good to know that you like this Version.
this kind of singing make me think to leonard cohen (rip, it was a genious): a low and deep voice.
On an instrumental plan, there's some blues in your rock ;) that's why i won't say it's dark, i'd rather say it's full of sadness :)
Ah, Leonard Cohen, yeah one of the best voices i ever listen to. Like i told you already, i am a child of the 80's and he did one of his best track in his 80's :) Did you ever listen to - Almost like the blues - ???? so good. so sad
With this blues and sadness thing you are fully right
But rock and dark is also not wrong :)
Nice to know that i could remember you on Mr Cohen with my music. That's a kind of honor.
The challenging part was to mix the two genres without being to obvious. The idea is from yellow claw. They mix hiphop house dubstep and reggae. I wanted to give it a go! I am glad you like it!
Hello, I took the beat off of this website wrote the lyrics, recorded them in the studio and reposted. I'm glad that you enjoyed the song, thank you for listening.
Hey Bleep, thank you! I really appreciate the constructive feedback, I will work on the synths and see what I come up with. I was thinking the same thing, it's missing some element, I want to keep it minimal but still have some variance and texture. Peace :)
no I guess not. working on one that has a sound of mystery, with a hint of dark. when I post it would love to hear what you think. still a little epic, can't seem to get off that train. thank you for you comment.
very good track. why don't you want to add a Didgeridoo in this one (for the bass)? you talk about tribal instruments... i'm sure it will his place in it :)
i listened your track only for pleasure because i'm not well placed to analyze your sound genre. From the point of view of a simple auditor (what i am here), i liked the flow and the instrumental part.
Dry kick, Round bass, claps, synth with smooth melody... all the ingredients for an awesome track
Breaks at the right time, at the right place...
you could think that 07mn is a little bit longer for a track but curiously you don't see the timer and at the end you realise you could listen to it more and more :)
i don't know if it's my sound system or yours VST plugins but i have too much reverb on some intruments during the first part of your track (until 01:36).
Hey Bleep thanks man, yes the reverb was a little strong in that first part as I'd been listening to a lot of Marley's very early work and it had very similar rhythm guitar verb, backed off it after awhile though...cheers mate Dave :)
ya no vocal i kinda like my tracks like that but in the future i will want to work with vocal...thank for listening to the track though and im glad u liked it
hello lavel, you're right it's dark :) i probably saw the same documentary about catacombs under paris. More i visited them: it's special...
About your track, i like the regular rythm of drums, it gives this dark effect, like a strange pressure...
It's also really minimalistic and when i listened it, i had more the impression to be transposed on a battlefield after the final confrontation :)
i already liked the original, i listened the collab with spectral eyes on soundcloud and what i can say is: amazing melt, nice collab very good track :)
