Yes, it has been a long time. Sorry for not responding sooner. Just got back from 2 weeks in Scotland. Basically offline the whole time. Yes, played it all in by hand. Other than drum parts. I agree that there are some timing issues with how the various parts sync up, timing wise. I need to work on that more I guess. I do use quantization, but usually give it some flexibility so it is not robotic. I should experiment with strict quantization perhaps and see if that improves things.

Anyway, thanks for the constructive criticism. Need more of that.

Eric

Thank you again for appreciating it, it really means a lot!

Thank you for the comment! The original was mainly with an acoustic guitar and it was beautifully done. I recommend a listen. I did kind of interpeted the song a little differntly but I was hoping that it still can come across as a hit. Thank you again for the kind words, much appreciated.

Thanks Brado! I do have the processed and clean files as well as pictures with the settings used available for download so if you want them let me know. There really isn't much going on in terms of processing as effects like delay, reverb and harmonizers make all the hard work. :)

my friend i am not claiming anything,,i am just answering ur ignorance.... plus i am showing facts,... if you have spotify or shazam u can know this obvious things by quick search,,, if you have something fame please show me i would be very glad to check it,,,, otherwise i would like to thank you for keep following my news and by u engaging to my post it will boost it and by that ur making more marketing ,,, so thanks man. please send me a link of ur fame works bro...

Yet iv hit million views on Spotify, top 1 charts in germany, poland and mexico for 50 weeks, and sild 34990 units and made 74378 $ out of this compressed amateur version my friend... can u do it ?

yep.. you want me to turn EQ and compression of as well ?

yeah... I think so ... I can just send 1 picking gtr part 1 strum part gtr part, then 1 vocal track all separate .. which then you could put in your daw individually and summ dub, effect boost cut.. whatever ??? would that work ?? If so I could work on it tomorrow night ?? Maybe.. Im in Florida and Hurricane Mathew maybe heading towards us..lol.. so I might have to hurricane prep....

No.. I do everything in the roland.. tracking, effects, mastering.. etc. then after I master it I burn it to a CD-R then pop it in my computer and "rip It" then Down load it here and sound cloud.. to be honest.. this was the first time I ever even "ripped" a cd .. so..that gives you an Idea of how far I am behind ...lol.. But to give an Idea of the tracks.. I think I have 4 Seperate Gtr. Rythem Tracks, 2 Sep. Lead tracks and It hink I copied the vocal track or " Summed "? the vocal 6 times.. so 6 tracks... lagging 2 of the tracks behind trying a vocal thickening trick.. which I will prob drop out.. as it just gave it a hollow sound.. In my opinion.. I sent you a message thing .. to your profile thing here..After I had visited your page n seen you do acapella stuff.. wondering if you were just wanting basically a raw vocal track alone then a separate Download of the guitar tracks mixed but without effects ?? I havnt yet put it to the VS Planet guys yet.. Im sure they will know how to do it.. there pretty awesome at that stuff.. and very helpful to newbies like me..lol..

Wow.. thanks..for the compliment and the offer.. I would love to do that ... However... Im not very well versed in all this computer and digital stuff.. So Bare with me and my ignorance.. .. This was recorded on a roland vs2480 not a computer DAW.. So I am not sure how I could send you the individual raw tracks ?? And This is my first recording on this vs2480 as well.. lol... Ive only recently got back into music after having left it behind in the early 90's. I.E. Ive got some catching up to do... so any direction on how to do it would be great.. in the mean time... I will check with my " VS Planet " planateers.. who have been extremely kind and helpful in this en devour..And see if they might be able to guide me in doing so... Soo.. if I can figure out how to do it.. I will and would love to do it.. thanks Kyle..

Did you expect heavy guitars and stuff? :))

Believe it or not I do work a lot with orchestra stuff as a matter of fact we are scoring an orchestral piece as we speak :D

I did a lot of stuff in chillout, symphonic, orchestra and movie scoes in the past. It's allways a pleasure.

Couldn't have done it without you! Thanks. :-)

Yes, I enjoyed while making this song, enjoyed this sounds! once again thanks for loops, maybe in future i will make another song from your loops! :)

Your track made it quite easy. I very glad you like it. :-) I sent the files, but I think you and I were sending at the same time, so I've updated the track here. Thanks.

Thanks man, awesome to see someone enjoy the progressiveness of it all :)

Hey Brado, thank you so much for your advice - you were right of course. I dropped the volume a lot, and also removed some of the bass boost - I think it is much better now. I must say, I have never mixed this type of bass before, I used more natural sounding bass before and found that much easier. So thanks again, much appreciated :) TG

Thank you again, couldn't have done it without your loop!

Spank you spank you!

No worries man. Goodluck with your exams! They're more important ;)
