I appreciate how you put together music like this. I like the feeling I get when I listen to it. I am also doing my best to keep you from making any witty replies :P

Listened to this while I did my chemistry homework. Enjoyed it very much. I really, really dig that little sound you used around the 4:50 mark. Beautiful work here, StaticNomad. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Kudos to you.

AHHHHHH. Thats so refreshing, that intro synth. Bro, I LOVE your stuff.

I think the loops at the intro could use some crossfading. I hear the pops at their looping points. But wow. I thoroughly like the way it's mixed overall. I think at 1:13 the drums should be brought up more. Too far back. And I think this song could use some decompression. It's really pushed up and it seems to be muddling up the sounds further back in the mix. I think it could benefit from a little more dynamic variation. And I think the song should either take longer to fade out - it ends too abruptly at this point - or have it end with a chord. Personally, I prefer to have the chord. But to each his own. Keep at it! :)

I get the feeling that his voice is off time in a few parts. Not sure what it is. But the idea is pretty cool haha.

I think the reason the bass arp "doesn't" work is because it feels too "loose" with the timing. Just a hair too loose. I think tightening the arp will fix it up nicely. It'll work, in my opinion, if it's not so up towards the front of the mix and is a little tighter in the time.

The female vocalist has a very pleasing voice. Great work.

Personally, I feel that the piano could be brought up a little.

I it sounds pretty good. But I feel like the strings could be mixed just a little better. Theres a lot of things crammed in the middle at certain parts of the song. Panning or a stereo delay would solve this issue. Great work though.

I think the song sounds good, but if there is one thing I'd focus on I think I would raise the volume of the drums just a bit. It'll help to drive the song more. DAT BASS DRUM DOE Sounds awesome at the beginning. I personally feel maybe the snare drum could be brought up a bit though, kinda fades into the background with all the synth activity. And definitely reduce the compression a bit and lower the volume just a hair. Gives the song a little more dynamic variation. Not a lot, as songs of this genre usually are thumpy and compressed, but in my opinion you might have pushed the compression a little too hard.

Wow, sounds nice man. It's close to commercial quality, just needs a few things fleshed out mixing-wise, but it sounds actually pretty decent right now as is!

From what I hear, the vocals are too far up front. Lower the volume of the vocals a bit and bring up the volume of the song as a whole. Keep working at it!

Just a little thing that I noticed - at the 5 second mark, I think the sound of the waves is a little choppy. A small fade-in will fix it. But dang, I really like the airiness and relaxation this song bring.

I agree that the cymbal sounds a little strange, but for lack of time I think you did great. Good job on this one.
