This is a nicely done track, like the reoccurring hook throughout the song. The breaks at 2:01 and 3:00 were also nice and I like the guitar treatment at the end of the track.
Wow! This was very nicely done and creative, in my humble opinion this very much says "movie soundtrack" to me. The way you arranged / build the track using the elements of clocks, chimes, etc. Gives the track a mysterious and uncomfortable what's gonna happen to the character next sort of feel. great job and fav,
Hey bringer, this track is definitely "smooth & chilled" to the max. From the slow building opening to the mellow throughout sax treated body of the song. Very nice, easy and enjoyable. Certainly a fav,
This is a really nice track, love that feel and energy. The fade in opening and the break at about 3:15 of the track where you fade back in were nice also. Just a nice all around vibe and dance track. I enjoyed this very much great job,
Hey Rats, ... that intro is TERRIFYING! (Lol!) The groove is Rock Solid and kickin' up all kinds of dust! Had me boppin' my head for sure on this one, nice job I enjoyed your track.
Wow dimestop this is great man! Using your singing talent gives this track a whole new aspect. And I really like the lyrical content and how you put the song together as whole, it has a semi melancholy feel about it. The Danke music track worked well in conveying the mood and artistry. Fabulous job my friend,
thanks for the great comment Dennel, i know you are old old school long time here, we have only just started our friendship but words like yours give artists a lift to keep pushing, critique but constructive, we all need too, i add. i only got better from people like Rita Micky Manuela Angel Cinco too many to mention giving me feedback. i always reply, and i comment on most if not all the tracks i listen too. its not hard, and if it puts a smile on someons face thats a bonus, since you have only surfaced to me recently, i can tell you are a community player like mee, good on ya bro and your a great artist too.
This was a very well done track, like the breakdown at about 1:26 and the short break at 2:12. This certainly got me up and going on this early morning, great work
Surprised that I hadn't heard this before, it certainly has a certain mystique about it building up all the way to the very end. And the female vocal adds an alluring aspect to the track,
very nice.
Hey StarTravels, first: by the information you gave in the description this is obviously part of some continuous, ongoing Syfy epic you've created. Secondly: (my opinion) this track has a lot of "Funk & Swag" for a "Trip Hop" tune minus the low-end (bass). Not sure why I'm under the impression now that you must not like bass very much (lol), given your commentary in the last part of your column. "I would like to avoid such dominant bass here, because there are too many ice formations that could easily burst if there is too much bass, and that could be fatal, at least on this planet." Is this indeed your metaphor for no bass? Lol... to each their own I suppose, but I digress. The track as a whole is a wonderful tune and by the end I felt like I was in the club gettin' my groove on. The guitar solo that comes in around 4:33 really adds a nice touch to the tune. Great work and I enjoyed your track and faved.
Oh no, Dennel, I'm an absolute bass fan. If there really isn't enough bass on this track, tell me and I'll change it. That would make you the second person to feel that way. Cincocent meant that, but I don't know....he has extreme taste in bass. In his compositions this is 100 percent correct and appropriate. But, to be honest, that would be a bit too much for me.
Well, it's always a matter of choosing a genre here... I didn't find anything suitable and then in the end I just chose Trip Hop because I don't care anyway.
Thank you for your valued comments.
Kind regards.
Had to repost my comment because I made too many mistakes last time lol! Well Alright Then Micky, looks like you've got yourself a winner here. Gotta give you big props on your vocals man, and the production is great on this track. I enjoyed this very much and faved great job.
Hello Dennel, glad you like the track. There are no samples in there (except for those processed voices at the very beginning), which is why it took me quite a while. However, I'm not entirely happy with the brass section. If you need them you have the choice between real musicians with horns, which are very expensive and time-consuming, or samples or loops, but you have to live with what is played there, or VST horns, which never, never ever sound like real ones. I actually detest artificial wind instruments, but for love's sake I used VST horns here, knowing from the outset that I would be dissatisfied with them. It may sound nice, but unfortunately it's not the real thing. I hope that one day I'll meet someone who just plays whole brass sections... LOL
Anyway, I was really happy that you came in and listened.
Peace,
Micky

Hey Chris, this is a interestingly "hypnotic" composition you have here. I guess you and I on some level share a fondness for creating minimalistic tracks lol! Love the time stretched loop that comes in and out periodically, it adds a nice eerie effect to the track. A very creative, experimental / enjoyable listening experience.
Greetings, thanks for the listen and fav and for taking the time to comment. Glad you enjoyed. Given your water inspired track here at the moment, maybe you should check out mine...pretty much a love song to water. All the best. Oh, it's called Water Treatment.
Hey Zivonmusic I'm diggin' this track, though I'm unfamiliar with the artist. Like your production work and the feel of this track overall, great job and fav.
Wow... this was really nice! For a song that's 6:08 it didn't feel that long. Smooth but with the changes, the sax and fretless bass soloing does give the track a "Fusion Edge." The mellow keys and groove rounds out the song to make it a very enjoyable listening experience. So glad to return after my long hiatus to find cats like yourself & Mark doing great jazz music. And it inspires me to do the same, very nice and a fav.
Dennel, thanks for the listen. I realize it's a bit long but the outro eats a minute. I really appreciate your comments. Mark's stuff is great. Love his mixes. More to come soon. UE
This is a interestingly nice track, like your use of the samples to construct the song. And all the percussion, vocal and miscellaneous samples give the track an upbeat earthy vibe. Nice production work I enjoyed this very much,
Excellent! Certainly pop radio play for sure, love the hook and how the vocals are layered. The buildup at the end of the song was exceptional without a doubt. This was a very enjoyable track to listen to and wishing you all the best in your endeavors.
"A Beautifully moving piece," I see you much like myself use music to address social or environmental issues. To paraphrase your description: "It is a complete mystery to me why man thinks to find paradise. And we are consistently destroying this paradise with an asocial ruthlessness as if we could buy a new one." Personally I think the powers that be aren't telling us that we've already passed the point of no return, climate change, the spirit of mankind as a whole. Thats why they're desperately trying to seek new planets...
I wouldn't really make a distinction between social and ecological.
I think that each of these terms already contains the other within it, would even think that they are synonymous with each other; one could well speak of twins.
"I personally believe that the powerful are not telling us that we have already passed the point of no return, climate change, the spirit of humanity as a whole. That's why they are desperately trying to find new planets..."
Well, that's where I would reverse the order:
This ominous belief in some paradise out there and the resulting obviously intrinsic urge of man to want to find it come hell or high water, was already there before (in 1957 my father stood with me as a toddler in the garden and a luminous point pulled above us its orbit through the night sky, Sputnik...) when one could still quite safely assume that the point of no return was not yet reached.
Nobody knows whether it has already been exceeded, but what EVERYONE can know for sure, without having to be a Nobel Prize Winner, is that maintaining the current economic model, an irresponsible eternal growth fetishism that is alien to reality, is as safe as that Amen will come to church.
In the past, the planet seekers could at best be justified intrinsically - thus rather weakly equipped in terms of argumentation - but with the concrete current/concrete upcoming missed reversal point, an incomparably harder argument is possible according to the motto:
"You see what awaits us, should we remain idle and everyone perish here?"
If you want to get/earn money, this "right" market economy argument becomes more convincing as the urgency for action increases...
Many thanks to you for listening and your thoughts!
