Description : A track I did with a friend ages ago. I play the guitar and he sang and wrote the lyrics. The lyrics came mostly from headlines in the newspaper that sunday. Recorded using a crappy old microphone direct into cubase with a few overdubs

so chill... the guitars are perfect and the vocals accompany it so well. doesnt sound like a trashy mic.. maybe its just mixed well.. idk. real good though
This is absolutely amazing! work here, i really loved the sound of this, reminded me of some great stuff i heard at a number of festivals i have been to, there are no words to describe that feeling you get with raw, real, music like this one. I'm totally sold on this FAB! work indeed :)
Here we are again loopsy i dont know why youve done maybe ego im mean the tunes are great i like em but im doing all this from my samsung phone so its kind of frustating as i am unable to play the tune on the page it just dosnt seem to load so i download it but i have to leave a comment feel my pain? Any hoot im of for a toot an download your tune
ok, ... but I do not read the newspapers anymore and your crappy mic from the track description was really fine here. really an (close to) acoustic effect! cool.
note that SJ or PJB did't say anything positive here.
I listened to your track many times anyway.
Haha,...I usually dont leave you reveiws but I dig this track man. Reminds me of Oasis. Mabey its the accent with the vocals and the acoustic backing. Noticed the vox arent centered but easily over looked. Pretty cool track bud!
This is really great! I actually enjoy the fact that this wasn't done on a good mic. Not that it sounded like a bad mic..it just gives the song a good, natural tone. Easy to listen to, and something I would love to hear live. Good work!
so your the creator? first off i would like to say thank you for creating this amazing site. its really helped my music get heard. i just wanted to stop by and show a little love on your track. great job man. i have to say your pretty good on the ole guitar. why not anymore tracks? keep up the good work boss dog. check me out and review if you get a chance. nice to finally have met you virtually. hahahaha. Peace Looperman.
i really want that sound, its bloody lovely! i really love this site man, all good things come out the Midlands, I'm only down the road in wolves would love to collaborate! do you play any local gigs? Wharf bar Walsall? I go to uni for sound engineering in west brom at major keys studio, they do a cool live night there every friday! anyway keep up the good work!
Cool track... It makes me feel like I'm watching a key moment in a movie where the person is stuck at their personal crossroads... I enjoyed listening.
I like the sincerity of your track.
Much thanks from across the pond for providing a great place for the true artists of this mad world to freely fly their banners of individuality and creativity in peace.
Wow. I didn't think I'd ever heard this, but it sounds sweetly stirring that I must have heard this way back when I first joined, b/c I remember that descrip and I think I remember this wonderful moving feeling - like I see just 10a, bright day outside, sunny apt, uk. I'm probably way off. I better go reread the description.
this is really great.
wow really really really really really cool concept, seriously, to chronicle the events of the time in song. so very moving. kind of the coolest concept I've ever heard, actually. way to go Shan. I'm quite amazed.
Heh cool rapping!
This track has got a lot, in this moment, it's got it all. Lovely music, lovely vocals, emotion, freshness, even ages later. Very fresh. Fav'd, cheered.
What's your friend up to these days? Love the voice!
Wow, all this time on the loop and I never thought to check out the man before. I guess I figured you were so busy putting out fires here that you never had time for music, haha. You play well and nice vox, a sliver of Oasis, only better. haha Would love to see some new tracks, if you ever have time, haha. and thanks again for this site!!!! peace.
beautiful track Shan, myself being perhaps one of the more song structured type of dudes I felt this song right away and I'm also wondering if you've ever heard of the David Bowie folklore tidbit that he would cut hundreds of strips of paper with lyric lines on each one and mix them all up on the floor and then start mixing and matching..?!?.did you play all the tracks, dig al the overdubs..great track, thanks alot for posting this!!
victormusic01x...in the nyC...listening to a really nice song..
wow so many reviews i doubt you will read mine but anyway i love the guitar but feel like the vocals should be stronger and attract more attention
when can my name be in blue?
Hello Looperman, thank you soo much for this site I think it is awsome that you made this site. I have been telling my all my friends and family about so hopefully they will join real soon. I actually stumbled across this site by chance. I was on the web looking for drum loops that I could practice recording and playing my guitar too. Then all of the sudden I bumped into this site luckly I had few tracks already made like about 5 or 6 from the start now I got over double the amount thanks to your site. Thanks alot Looperman, thanks to you now I can share my musical ideas with friends and family anyway that I am without having to put them on myspace or youtube or something like that. Like this your totally anonymous so if people dont like your songs then its not so embarrassing and if they do like it inspires you more. Great site love it man!!
Thanks for for this site ,its one of my favorite on the web. Scott brought me here, and I hope to be around for a while. I love all genres of music. My girlfriend and I were watching some medical marijuana patients denied there natural Herb,(THANKS DEA THANKS FEDS) and I looked at her and I said (XKGFKDTGDTGSLN) if you no what I mean. This was the inspiration 2 go 2 Scott, and old friend, and spread the word. The 50's and 60's stuff is for my mom and dad, although they say "Do all the songs have 2 have marijuana lyrics". ah ha ha ahhhhhhhh Well you can't please everyone . oh....... Your song was great, thanks.... but its been so long since you have done anything. Peace. Much respect.
LooperMan, You da man, just wanted to say that, thanks again for all of this, and dang, this is a good lil joint you got playing right here, even if it iss old, sounds like a great time to have recorded this session, your friend not too shaby on the voks too man sounds great!!!
We should Collab a hip hop track! hahahahaha it woooould be cool tho, anywayz, keep doing what you do man, its appreciated!!!
Great song. This is the only song of yours that i've caught. I love it. I'm gonna add it to my favs also. This site has so much talent. Im glad i found it. thanks and keep recording great songs!!
I like any thing with a clean acostic guitar! I detected that english accent and confirmed with the cliffs over dover!! Where I landed 6 am in the morning on my way to the stadium (Wembly from Germany) for the First World Football game between Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Bears!! Voicing nice and smooth and great lyrics!! I enjoyed this one!! Filaofsoul
Very clever way to find lyrics. I'm a guitar player also and I think your style of playing and songwriting is a winning formula..keeps you listening for what's coming next.
Big love to all the reviews for the track. If you liked the vocals and lyrics check out " Follow the Rabbit" by Dharo 10 on Looperman also done by me. Cheers all, Dhar
HI Looperman..finally I meet the person that started this site..

I wish you your friends and family the best for 2009..Peace Dvibe
Good acoustics. Awesome opening line haha, GREAT use of Black Humor, it's cool your friend used lyrics from a newspaper, I always thought it was fun to do that type of stuff. It's worked out for me many times. I like how he switches it up to an almost rap style for that chorus randomly.
Can't really say much else except you probably already know it could be mastered/mixed better but I don't even care about that stuff to tell you the truth.
Hi Looperman,
Finally getting to listen to one of your tracks here....it popped up in the 'featured window'. I see its been on here awhile with over 1470 plays. :)
Well, the guitar playing fits the tune perfectly and you did a nice job there. Nice clean sound.
The vocalist....he is good too. Wish I could sing, I might go farther. The odds of an instrumentalist making a top 10 chart are probably more than 1 in a million!
Again, I like this song and I thank you for posting it.
Randy
Love your guitar work, nice song. Thought I'd check out the man who created this wonderful site. Glad to a member here, ain't it great when you can create something that brings people together in a positive way. Hat's off to ya mate, peace. D
i like acoustic that sound makes me fellin' happy, some of my tracks
are with acoustic,i don't like electro or somethin' this is real sound...Great job,i like this track...
nice man, reminds me of like, a lone man travellin through the wild, just to get away from it all. the vocals sound good too considering the mic situation.
nice job, keep it up looperaman.
Really enjoyed listening to this track..like Bossie said, its reminiscent of Oasis early stuff. Very original and very captivating. way to go looperman!
The lyrics are good too liked the part about being like mike tyson good stuff. You should come out here to joshua tree in the US for the gram fest they have every year in memory of gram parson. They have a whole lot of bands that do music like this song. You would probably like it.
There is a great homespun kind of charm to this piece. Like I can see a couple guys jamming in a room, cold beers all around a smokey room having a great time. Very nice.
nice chill music tune. i can see a dude walking down the street kicking rocks with his hands in his pockets while this is playing on a movie. you know its good when you can actually picture tunes in movies..haha.
Who came first..You or billy Brag?....doesn't matter.....This is cool as....something about acoustical songs nice and truthful...no pretensions.....excellent Mr Loop....cheers planet
Are you on guitar on this? Really great track, both musically and vocally (big fan of acoustic music here... if I could play guitar it's probably the medium I'd be working with lol) Awesome listen! ~Lisa
Description : NOTICE: this song is made ONLY FOR NON-COMMERCIAL PURPOSES. Contains an emulation of a TM legendary song (send to the original authors, i add them on Fb time ago).
This is a surprise, for those was young in 1999, for the beloved Patricia (and the gift of her voice) and my brothers Nous2 and Jamid, kind people i met here. Let's go crying guys, hope you enjoy.
Description : There were two separate tracks in work, but who knows why I got tired with them and then decided to merge them (or at least what left from them) into one piece hence they originate out of same musical purpose. No worries...no world war was ment here, except my recent personal one...haha...and you don't want to know about it.:) It's not real etude by any means, yet it's quite alot about practicing...practicing...

Description : Remastered March 2023. Recorded live on two mics. For my wee daughter Tui; I wrote it sitting on the bathroom floor, keeping her company while she was in the bath....
Description : Again, another early production from like two years ago. I had a cheap little Yamaha acoustic guitar that I borrowed and mic'd and some congas that were given to me as a birthday present. I used my iPad GarageBand app to record the strings and the big bass drum thingy at the interlude and little electric guitar parts in there too haha. All the vocals were done by myself and my brother throws in some little things here and there with his voice :P Enjoy!
Description : A rhythm guitar track I made and sent to my cousin on the East Coast. Made with Tape-A-Talk app. from the Google Play Store. Download and collaborate with it.
Description : My very first acoustic piece in quite a while..
I hope someone grabs this and puts some vocals to it.
The software I used is Reaper, Addictive Drums and Gearbox.
Hardware is a Jackson RR3 plugged into a Line 6 Pod X3..
Description : Thats my newest Track all made out of free vst of the dsk series. Its a kind of chill out acoustic string thing that makes me thinking. Its very calm, inspirational and gives me power...
