I like the title a lot, the intro is pretty cool, is there a reason for the rain, besides it just sounds cool? The kick seems a little too much in the high range with not enough in the low end.
Progresses very well!
thx mate. I have looked at the kick, however i think its actually got to be like that coz of the kik sample i used. I would really have to change the kikk to get more bottom on it...but through my studio monitors it sounds great..thx for the comment and the final version should be up by tomorrow!
Well judging by Dave's review this is going to be crazy.
Whoah.... I got sidetracked, I was trying to find the cheesiest hardcore track I could.
It's either Weekend Has Come - S3RL
Feel Love - Darren Styles
Ok to your track!
Crazy! All those synths going on, sounds pretty complex but if you think about it and break it down it's just three synths with basic patterns, but with their forces combined!
Sounds like you cut a part of the vocal in the intro, and it gave it a choppy sound. What you should do is cut the vocal into two different parts, export them as different audio files so you don't get that sound. Great use of the vocal, a simple track, but rapidly progressing keeping it very interesting.
Great track!

When she says, And I hold my head down....It sounds choppy right after that.
You need to drop some crazy FX on it. Make it go "wooopooodadaddeeeHEEEEE!!" If you know what I mean. You gotta warp the sounds. Great for a first glitch track!
Thanks, man!
I actually realized that piano sounds not quite right when cwitched to headphones - have fixed that now for the final. Thanks for advice - and great you liked it!
I noticed you had squarepusher as an inspiration. Amazing bass player. My uncle got to work with him and he told me he is a real jerk. Haha just telling you.
The drums don't get the solid sound they need, they work good for the intro. At some point you need a good solid kick and snare and all those cymbals you are going to use them and make them hit hard with a dirty bassline.
I hear ya lil bro.
In fact, I might just shoot that idea over to Young. I'm thinkin that if he did 'em they'd sound super sweet. Glad ya dug it. Later on!
Yeah, it's kinda weird, but I figured people would like to do something a little different. Dunno though because I haven't had any takers yet (shrugs). Glad ya dug it. Later on!
That constant snare starts to sound a little repetitive to me after a while. The strings add nice tension, I'm not sure if you were going for this but it lacks the whole release part, you have tons of good tension, but the beat never really drops.
I'm checking out that song you left in the review, I am liking it, how the reverse kick bring in the beat.... oooh and those sax stabs...
To your song!
I'm liking the beat. Beautiful intro, but you know what you should do, make there are 49 key hits in each piano loop, 49 of everything, make a perfect symmetrical track!
After a while it starts to sound a little repetitive.
"Go ahead and crank the autotune to "Tpain" on the vox."
haha...(I can't stand T Pain or any autotune rapper... uggg)
Ok now that's done.
When you have that little brushing sound in the background with the vox run it through delay and make it sweep through a filter, it will add another dimension, and maybe even sweep the dry/wet on the delay.
Those kick studders in the intro just sound completly out of place to me.
Everything else sounds good though. How did you get that hi hat sound, I am really liking it, not the usual hi-hat, that longer one that kind of has two sounds.
Yeah I was umming and aaaahing about those double kikks..but i think they sit ok...might move them a little further apart tho. Thanks for the review man!! Glad you liked the track!
Used a preset in camelspace for the hats! Or camelphat...cant remember....was defo one of them tho!!
So what's with the dirty laundry?
After studying your avatar and actually paying attention I finally figured out what it is also! Some toy turntables. Speaking of which my new vinyls came yesterday!
Ok to the track....
Very psycadelic
I'm loving the breaks, but does it ever drop a 4 to the floor? Kind of essential to house, but not sure about dirty laundry though...
Oh yeah you can remix International House of Dancecakes all you want!
Haha, I kinda talked about it in the description. Just a different way to capture that whole 'creepy basement' vibe.
As for the Avatar, yep, Fisher-Price Record player. They don't make 'em anymore, ofcourse, but a thread was started a while back talking about the cool toys we had as kids and BAM- I remembered having one of these. So what with this being a music site and all using the image as my avatar just seemed so appropriate.
As for the track, well mate, it's funny that you mention that. Have you checked out the original yet (and the review I left Moke)? That's what I like to call 'super ironic'. I just took this song, lengthened it, and organized it's layout (added a buttload of effects too, haha).
Thanks for the other and I'm glad ya dug this one. Later on!
Haha, the Monday thing is kinda what I was thinkin. Though I think the snoring sound bytes'd be a bit much.
As for the drumwork, have you scoped out Splish's version of this? He added some House-esque drums to it.
As for the other song, I know of the band (really dig 'em too), but I don't own any of their stuff yet. So I've sadly never heard the song you mentioned above (atleast, I don't think I have). Anyways, glad ya dug it mate. Later on!
Thank u for the review.Vocals on this track were mostly ejay samples-tweaked and changed to create the song.Unfortunately the master was fried in a pc meltdown so I am unable to do much in the way of a remix!Appreciate u listening!
The intro is amazing, those drums are so psychedelic, well apparently they go through the whole song. Those hi-hats come in and sound good but the bass/guitar comes in too quickly after it.

I think it could use some drums, but not in the standard 4/4 way.
What is that song...
Still Dreaming - Astral Projection
All time favorite ambient trance track. I think it goes something like
(k=kick/c=clap/h=hat)
K - - K - - - H - C
Put some sounds of you snoring in it, then saying... "Damn... monday already?"
