great start with evocative guitar riffs. It is impressive how many elements you have accomodated here supporting the spiritual message (which is the main focus). Very intense and powerful track!
Thank you brother Alex.
Yes i have always enjoyed making music with meaning and substance. They seem to resonate for eternity and provide a solution or an encouragement for the listener.
this is some extremely peaceful and relaxing type of chillout. I like this one a lot.
I do not listen to mainstream chillout these days that much but anyway some of your synths (especially from 1:11) remind me of tycho https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6ih1aKeETk
This one is in 6/8 (at least to me:) so from 1:46 when you play straight eights it is an interesting change.
Yes, from 2:22 it is definitely a Tycho terrytory haha. I really like the type of synths you're using.
I do not know that delay effect on the lead from 0:35... maybe it is too much of delay there haha but this is only my opinion. Distant vocals are very cool.
Overall a very fine production. I am looking forward to hear more tracks like this one from you.
I clicked that link about 3 hours ago now and for those 3 hours ive been listening to Tycho! haha hes awesome! you've introduced me to a new artist to listen to haha :D
but yeah back to this track haha..
Im glad you like it, and about the synths i do see thee connection to tycho! :D
Hi.
So this is some very cool production. As always drums and funky basses are great, reminding me of your older works. Some of the synths used here sound also quite familiar to me.
I see the 'correctness' of placement of the vocal section was already discussed but I must say I really like this composition as it is - vocals are pretty much only an another 'atmosphere' layer in here than really a very proper vocals. The placement is very gentle and they sound fine in the context of the entire track. Yes, maybe this structure is a bit unusual (to me the track is still too short - first part seems a bit too elaborated and the fade-out at the end was quite unexpected). To me the B part starts from 2:32, that's why I want that last A' section (or whatever it is) last longer haha.
All in all a very cool track and solid chillout production as always.
hi again. listening to this I had an impression I am actually experiencing something very similar to what I heard few days ago. All that 'I am the One, as YOU are also' sounds pretty nondual-flavoured to me. Are you a spiritual devine being on here? Or maybe only a spiritual teacher.
Only I can say is that my approach is quite different (but I tried reversed vocals as well when working on some dnb remix few months ago). Here it sounds like reversed but still I can understand the words so it is a kind of reversed-reversed.
Again: your tracks are way too painful for my ears (maybe check out one of mine - there's a lot of space and dynamics in there).
I really like this version a lot. Adding that another background vocal layer was some very nice little change. from around 2:41 it sounds cool:) solid structure and perfect length for a song.
somehow that background male choir loop seems like it is still a bit too computerized but I really enjoyed all updates.
your song reminded me of one piece from danish group Analogik: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AalMTXaiWzc
hello. this is some very fine and cool funky music. guitar is superb.
but still this one sounds a bit like a part of something much bigger because these guitar lines are really so narrative. that's why you can construct entire track around only a single piano loop.
hi. wow! what a fantastic collab. I really like what you did here. danke's track gets even more funky now with your vocals haha. Somehow that little sax solo would probably fit better somwhere in the middle of the track instead (to me:) but anyway this is some very nice vocal take!
Few weeks ago I downloaded your another track titled 'them-lovely-bones', very funky number but there was far too much of collab action happening at that time to work on this track.
I am working currently on some other idea from ferryterry but that particular one was really cool. Are you still interested in developing that older project? I might try to create a solo section on keys and ask ferryterry for some guitar lines as well.
Again very impressive work on this one. I will check out some of your other tracks.
thanks so much for the kind words and taking the time to give it a listen, Promenade! i am definitely still doing them lovely bones. i as actually using 2 verses from this song (atlantic drifts) for them lovely bones - its a whole different feel when the vocals get running on that track. i can Send you the track if you'd like to vibe off of it and see if something comes to you.
message me your email and i will send it over.
thanks again for the listen and the respect. Bless.
hey Orlando. this is some very fine cinematic oriented piece. really nice work on this one! Some moods (and instruments) present on many of your tracks make me think of House of Flying Daggers and all that kind of cimema.
I must say all these mafia and vendetta movies always scared crap out of me but I really liked Last Tango in Paris.
keep producing!
Wow...you brought back memories on this fabulous movie with Brando and Maria Schneider. Maybe this one would deserve some musical reference too, but the Muze is not always around the corner...:)
hi. so this is some quite short but very enjoyable piece. really nice work on this one. I can recognize the 'world beat' loop but it is played a bit faster here so overall your track sounds to me like a house track. I used this shortbusmusic's loop few months ago but it was played slower by contrast https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/159442
Will you be reworking this one again? For now it sounds like a sketch, it doesn't really evolve that much. But that's ok.
I was listening a lot to traditional hindu music. Compositions are usually very long and they are entirely improvised https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3lyYz19mEU very unlike looperman tracks haha.
Hey, thanks for commenting. I had fun just messing about with the above loops, I did have it a minute or two longer but it just didnt really work with this so I scrapped it, I quite like it just as a short track.
Just away to check out your track and the YT link. Thanks :)
hi soundhound. nice and chilled sound and I really liked your guitar additions. this one is less funky than your last one, more easy-listening and kind of very basic for now (regarding to the song structure) but I enjoyed it. great start! looking forward to hear finished production, some female vocals could really lift up this one for sure.
Thanks...Alex
Yes plan on sending this to a friend, just to see what they will send
back to me...In the way of Vocals...
Yep simple structure, simple dynamics I wanted to keep it that way
with voices in mind, could've gone nuts with this groove and a
Guitar, just have to know when to say when... :)
Thanks for your comment! Always appreciate your time. I don't intend to release longer tracks here right now, since a lot of time goes into the production of those compositions and we are only doing that for our licenced projects until there's more time.
Maybe the description was a little misleading, the challenge was this track, since this style (a fast paced action cue) is not something I've attempted properly in the past, this track is a first attempt at doing so.
I appreciate that, though the visuals will help some listeners to set the scene. Not an advertisement, simply something for the listeners to enjoy!
this is very fine, kind of old styled chillout synth sound. it's really sweet and midi layering is not that annoying (which is often the case).
never heard anyone playing any classical piece on here btw. maybe I will upload some soon.
Thanks a lot, appreciate the feedback.
I tried to emulate my old hero Tomita, but still, even now, he's difficult to match.
Let me know when you've uploaded.
this is some very nice one! probably my favourite from you so far.
I can listen only on laptop speakers now but I really appreciate the higher frequency spectrum of this short experimental sound-scape. It sounds glassy and it's very funky.
For me it is still a bit too short for a proper ambient. Ambient tracks are usually much longer and they evolve slowly. This is always the case in Steve Roach's works, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-SiiwEciFs
but your track is of course a kind of a short illustrative piece and as this it works perfectly fine.
I am listening to the steven roach track right now. it is good to touch base with this master. you are right - this evolution of an true ambient track cannot be rushed. i am glad you had a chance to hear this little underwater track of mine though - it could certainly be refined more but it seems to work on some level. best regards - Dan
hey midiman!
drums and synths are indeed very 80's-styled but the guitar entry around 1:37 was so fine! Very groovy jamming!
Have you played all synths as well?
Hi promenade2239, Thank you for your kind comments on this track. The keyboard, Drums, etc was my Fellow College My03 also know as My05. I only did the guitar, part but judging from your comments at least my part was as good as the rest of it. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
hey. firstly I am here because you played my track.
This is very fine but strange ambient. I just listened to your other works and found them really interesting.
Overall I can hear Robert Rich combined with Steve Roach. Breathing reminded me of a scene from A Space Odyssey.
hey. nice production! maybe a bit too commercially-oriented for my taste but anyway I liked it. Very fine vocals. I'll definitely check out your acapellas.
very special style, kind of hard-synth-pop. Somehow there's no proper intro, maybe just start with drums only? Some of vocal manipulations were too sweet!
nice. this sound at the beginning reminded the violin sound a bit but it is of course computerized (I guess). I can hear harmonica as well and many other undefined sounds. Short but interesting.
piano ok. it gets some depth even (the very moment when drums comes in).
Overall the piano is played too low (overall). From 2:40 I enjoyed it because you seem take off all these elements for a moment. Nice start! and very great ourto (outro)

So we will see ......
But if someone would help me with cleaning this

Then i will for sure work/rework on the track
