Oh, I see. And EQ tree effect? I don't know what that is. I don't see the need for a kick reducing compressor, as there isn't much kick to begin with, but thanks for offering those suggestions! :)
Hmm. I can assure you, I did not use any effects at all on this track. Any/all effects you hear are from the actual, untouched/unadjusted vst banks themselves. I never changed a single thing, EQ-wise.
mmmmm ...... i can hear them very well ...... but who knows :)
at least you can look into the lyrics ..... if others think the same, then i can make them sure louder but i think they are good (right now)
out stretched wonder as eye facing uncertainty as to what it is you do not hear, may it be musical cluster or unclear vocality, perhaps the message is in a vague myst for some canals of listen, please light the path so that eye may see your aim,yet many thanks for the take of time to listen, may peace reign luvv
normal im weak when listen to a nice bass guitar. you got all for 58sec, but you should work more on mixed a full song it isnt eazy one of the main reason i dont do it.
hi. thanks for listening and your comment. I do not really understand what you mean by saying all that because it is already mixed and it is a full song. but thanks anyway!
the quality of the sound could be much better. you should use more time on sound then mix. i did some dumb moves, by just focus on mixed then the sound quality it self.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by and listen. Comments are very welcome and a view regarding the production, playing, song construction and arrangement are always digested and kept for future reference. I think there are many things about the track that are good and I sincerely hope that whatever I've produced and posted on Looperman gives the community some pleasure and occasionally some incentive to produce and develop recording skills.
That said "some drums that flowing the voice a bit better" suggests a simpler drum part might have worked better. (I am guessing here of course as I don't fully understand your comment). If I have understood correctly then my thinking was this. I didn't want the backing to sound like a cabaret band so I elected to write a hi hat part that broke the rhythm up a little. I then played a bass part in which syncopated with the 2 and 4 in each bar in the hope it might create a little "movement" at the back of the track and create a more dynamic backing for the vocal. The bass drum part was edited after I had played the bass part in to be a more sympathetic to the overall track. Maybe it didn't work that well but I tried!!
Good luck with all your future efforts and thanks again for stopping by.
I hadn't planned to but chuck some in there if you want it would be interesting.
I just mess about as a hobby.
I'm in my sixties so this isn't really my kind of music as such but I love music I love sound noise and silence and I heard my kids listening to this kind of stuff so thought I'd give it a go.
I'm quite pleased with the results.
Do have a go if you have any words.
