Very expressive and relates to the title nicely.
GREAT work.
Nothing's wrong with the way it is but, if you spread the sounds around just a little more it would increase the effect.
thanx man much love peoples....if you think about it all of our lives are movies god's movie.....but there's also alot of us that live a totally different life and stand for a different set of rules ....i make music thats near my heart & life u feel me 1
I've listen to your music before and I am still impressed.
This track is some of your best work in my opinion.
I hope one day I become talented enough to ask for some of your time in order to lay down something specific for me.
Have you ever listened to EDDIE HAZEL?
BKM,
Thank you for the kind review. Eddie Hazel is beyond me, but thank you for the thought. Your mention that this may be some of my best is much appreciated as this one took more time than pretty much anything else I have posted here. The project provided a great learning experience that I am excited to apply to the next venture. I may be able to hook up on a track one day, but for now i am scrambling to catch up, especially here on Looperman.
Thanks for the encouragement. It truly makes the effort worthwhile.

Man, what a track, someday you should go back and spend a little more time with it. This is really special. (Don't mean to dampen the spirit, it is really a good track as it is.)
ACOUSTIC LADYLAND, Nice title, nice sound.....your talent is quite evident in this song...It puts you in a relaxing mood....I think I'll have a glass of wine!
BKM,
Finally able to get on Looperman to thank you for your kind encouragement.
This one has a deep personal connection in my life. Happy you like it and only wish we could share a glass of wine.

It's obvious that you are much more advanced (and talented) than I. Your music sounds extremely professional and is pleasing to the ear. Keep doing what you are doing and the rest will take care of itself.
I Like Your Style! I've always been a fan of your "swag" as they say. I'm probably from an earlier generation but I know style when I see it and talent when I hear it.. Get That money
One this site you find some amazing talent. Yours is definitely included in that description. I enjoyed this track from beginning to end. This track took me to that place I go when I listen to music. Thankx for the ride.
This track is smokin'.
I see it being accented by a video.
The lyrics color the groove with attitude and flavor.
'Can't wait to review other tracks..
I quickly added it to my fav's.
Nice feel! I found it to have one of those mental journey type vibes.I really like your attention to detail.
For me, this track is one you play in the background while sitting in your favorite chair, staring into the fireplace. Great job! really enjoyed it..........
Bmack,
Thanks for the kind comments. I like the idea of composing music as background to our everyday lives. A few of my works go over 20 minutes in length. Impossible to sit through, but if you just let them go and get on with the day, you find the sounds floating in to the moment. Thanks again. I am inspired. Voltage
You certainly seem to "KNOW WHAT YOU DO." I enjoyed every note. I listen and learn from my musical peers (you included) and there is a lot here to learn from. Thankx for the lesson.
Good concept and sound. It has that old movie soundtrack feel to it with modern artistry. ' As if one was leaning on a street light pole with darkness all around the light, on the corner, in the misty rain. Again, WHAT A CONCEPTUAL SOUND! I had two songs in my favorites.....NOW this makes 3.
I agree with bkmsr's comment. I was a little hyped too. The bass carried the rhytym and the drum filled in. How cool is that. Very unique sound scheme.
If this is your first song I'd love to hear your next ten...And hopefully I will ... Talent for detail is evident ... I don't feel I am at a talent level where I can critique anyone about anything ...
But if this track were mine ... I wouldn't change what you have but, I would add a hit and/or a 4 bar roll here and there to stretch it the track out
Thanks very much for the review Bmack. I think that is good advice and I agree. I do need to work on changing up drums a little, adding rolls and such.
My friends don't understand how I love Jazz and Funkadelic (the original) at the say time. This song simplifies why. It has that same feel. I was blown away with this for personal musical reasons. Thanks man, Can I have another?
I don't see how someone could not love jazz and funkadelic together. We must be about the same age. Your friends must be jazz purists. Thanks for the review.

It has the flow that, yes, can take a couple of lyrical styles....maybe even a blend.
Keep up the good work
