not generally my scene, but this is a fabulous track and I really like it, the vocals are really well matched to the samples. Would very muck like to play this on my loopradio slot if ok with you.
Great arrangement, like the vocal which breaks up the track nicely and like WaPer I would like to give this an air on my looprdaio slot tomorrow (7pm - 9m GMT). Great work and thanks for sharing.
Well you will get no complaints from me, nor long comments! sorry I just love what I hear and everything blends so well, I like it and so do my ears. Nice work.
Hi. Leave comments as short or as long as you like. Or, as is often the case, leave no comment at all (yes, I know that's mostly from all the many users with no profile and no tracks).
I of course prefer longer commnents as it's interesting to hear the details of what people did or didn't like. When I like a track, I try to point out bits I didn't like or think can be improved. Then maybe the track will become even better.
I've got to know a few people on here in terms of their tastes and preferences so it's often fun to see which bits they choose as their track highlights.
Anyway, good to hear you found that some of these slightly disparate elements came together nicely.
in general this is a really nice piece of chill out and overall I like it, but there are a few points I would make to give you an honest opinion. The start was really good and the build was really promising with almost an African/Australian outback feel to it, I just felt that from 1.35 to 1.56 there needed to be to more movement and the same from 1.56 to 2.31, where the inclusion of the jews harp sound would have added to further effect. In some places the sound quality was not as crisp as in the main, this may have been intentional. These comments are the way I see it and others may strongly disagree, I hope you take them in the spirit they were meant because you really have a great chill out sound here and those items I have mentioned could easily be addressed. Nice work.
comprehensible ,sanely ,usefull & quale commenT .
Mark/Larry , I appreciate your time & these good
shared ideas in comment .
if I may try any second version , so then I'll inform U.
and if U can do that if you have track ,wellcome and
please inform me.
thank you very much .
Really nice chill out beautifully done and the guitar was superb. Just one small point, around 0.42 to 0.48 the vocals are a little drowned. Excellent job though.
Thanks a lot mark for the comment, greatly appreciated ;)
I will try to get up new songs in a faster pace but I am kinda busy lately with a lot of things ;)
Well done, really nice track and the vocals have fitted really well. There are some sound issues that need to be addressed but some simple mastering would sort this. The synth between 1.04 and 1.20 needed just a bit more tempo I thought, and for about the last 40 secs the beat became a bit out of sync with the rest. These are just my honest opinions and are minor issues. It is still a great effort and you should be proud of it.
Best wishes,
Mark/Larry!
Apart from being a bit short this sounded good and was a great effort. It is always difficult putting loops together and getting transitions right is a fine art and sometimes there is a tendency to try and pack to much in, which can detract from the music. you have got the balance about right on this, well done and keep going.
Best wishes,
Mark/Larry!
Thank you for this encouragement! It is quite the challenge stringing together loops only- especially since I have no instrumental talent and no knowledge of keys or notes except how it sounds to my ears. I am starting to grow a love for it though which helps as I learn slowly...very slowly. Maybe I will lengthen this if inspiration hits again soon! (danke always makes such great loops!!!)
Well done, great mix, sounds and awesome vocals, time well spent. I agree with Steve defo not drum and bass though. thanks for sharing a really quality track.
Like the Scottish reel type intro, bagpipes on speed! and the way you bring in the other elements. For me there should have been a few for interesting fills and beat changes. Having said that I like this and with a few changes you could have a great track.
Best wishes,
Mark/Larry!
Fabulous use of loops, and the vocals ( even with cold) were absolutley haunting and brilliant. Just one spot at around 0.44 where the loop v vocals just needs a bit of smoothing. Cant wait to hear your next. Well done.
Best wishes,
Mark/Larry!
:)
Hello.
what a good to see you have paid attention.
i really appreciate such comment.
just you mean I should soften my voice at around 0.44 ?
or is there something heterogeneous and
disharmonic in music too ?
(ps:this comment belongs to 2 persons?)
thank you very much for feedback.
:)
Once again a beautiful piece of work my friend, piano, guitar and strings blending so well and from start to finish you had me hooked. Chill out at its very best and thanks for bringing a big smile to my face.
Very best wishes,
Mark/Larry!
This is a real nice sound and you have the potential of a great track here. the mix is disjointed at times but with remixing and additions (beats, percussion and maybe vocals)you will have a winner. Would be glad to help in anyway I can. A good effort whatever though, well done.
Best wishes,
Mark/Larry!
Thank you Mark! I know, it's not perfect despite my best efforts. Actually so many people wrote me that this one is really need a vocal, so i think i will try to find a singer, then make some rebalance... i dont know how to start it, but think i will make a post on the forum, and will see.
Regards, traz
SUPERB! love the guitar and the horn, really does fit together nicely, and I liked the whole feel of it, though wish it could have been longer. If I was to change anything, I would just add a little more percussion and maybe an electo piano break to compliment the guitar, now that's just me tinkering there is really nothing wrong with this as it stands, and hope you don't mind me mentioning it. A really good piece of music and going to be a fav.
Best wishes,
Mark/Larry!
Larry!
Thanks for commenting and also positive feedback. Comments are always welcome!
I totally agree. I Also would like to bring back the horn at the end of the song.
Let's see what's happening.
Hey, this is a real nice track, love the retro feel and putting a some Hammond organ in there could add to this..good guitar work too.
Best wishes,
Mark/Larry!
Hi,
some good guitar playing going on here, some distortion which most of the others have covered. I think if you re-did this and cleaned it, there is a lot of potential to develop this into a really good track and I would certainly be interested in working on it. Good work so far.
Best wishes,
Mark/Larry1
Hi, Sounding good through the speakers and I think you are on a winner here, vocals good and the whole track has a great vibe, just a couple of small things, between 0.48 and 1.00 could be built a little more and the addition of extra percussion as the track progresses would further enhance the sound, just my view. Still very much a banging tune and a big like, well done.
Many thanks,
Mark/Larry!
Yes, I agree about the build up - it needs some more impact so I'm going to continue working on the mix.
Thanks for the advice and for listening!
Cool to hear that it's to your liking.
Hi Orlando,
Have listened three times now, and nailed, well and truly are the words that spring to mind, you have not compromised the original track in any way, and the violins and piano sit and blend so well, if any critique, just the change at 2.37 is maybe a bit sharp, but that is fleeting and probably just me and it didn't ruin my enjoyment of the track at all. Great job Orlando and can I have your recipe!! oh and no need to worry about the great Ian Anderson, I believe he is a pussycat these days!!
Very best wishes,
Mark/Larry!
Hi Mark,
I always look forward reading your honest comments, so welcome again mate:) You have very good ear, but you will have to talk to Ed about 2.37 sharpness over left chanel. It didn't disturb me personaly, on the contrary, I pretty much liked it, so I took no steps to possibly lower it in the mix as is the case with entire original.Everything is intact and the basic track is presented within it's original mix. Maybe the only critical point to me is at around 1:42 (that one goes on my account),where the change appears to be a bit clumsy. I was tempting to correct it, quite a few times, but in the end of the day I kinda liked it and I said to myself that every decent artwork has to have it's dubious spot.:)I think even Ian Anderson would agree, about whom you might be right...he must have become more humble in his ageing times.:)
So, thanks alot again for positive thoughts, my friend, and see you around soon..
A real good first trance attempt, good start and builds, just a couple of small points, thought the beat could have done with a few more drops and the end was slightly disappointing after the good start and builds. Still a great job though and a fav.
Best wishes,
Mark/Larry
Thanks Larry for the input and taking the time to listen to the whole track. The end is nothing to write home about :) Maybe in a few days i will go back to it and rewrite the ending.

If you resonate with this music, then you are there yourself, otherwise you wouldn't feel it.
My agenda is to infiltrate the mainstream and raise the vibration. That is why I make Hip Hop, House, Dance etc.
The music since the 70's have been in a constant decline.
