Work of a real musician - the details are so crazy. Real uplifting funny bluesbrother - good job, not my music, but makes me smile (and i dont smile that often if u watch my avatar, hehe). That transition around 3:20 is great built up. And the mix is real outstanding!
Glad I could bring a smile to you. Actually, it's not really my style either. I'm more of a jazz and funk guy, but my training in music is quite genre extensive, that sometimes earlier training just kinda makes it's way into something I'm working on, so I just go for it.
Sick, what u made of the soundwise totally fckd up original. Real catchy one. My favorite so far now - as i have only listened a few yet... Very nice soundbalance, good job spivm8
Thanks for stopping by to listen! doctorcatface seemed a little offended at your comment for some reason... go figure?! I appreciate your positive words!
You got some nice chilled n hypnotic flow. If u want to do some DnB/Rap/crossover track collab, i d appreciate if u check my latest enty2way feature: https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/151278
Think of doin some orchestral stuff with you, for example, if u re interested. HNY2014 ;)
Glad you enjoyed listing to my Blues instrumental. When working with loops and adding in my own playing as well, it usually takes me 1-2 months to put a tune together so it sounds 'radio ready'.
Most all my songs are 'professionally mastered' after I am done with them. Always good to have another pair of ears to listen to your songs before putting them out to the world, forever. lol
I'll take a look and see what you have up. Thanks again,
Wow, the piano catches instantly attention - like said before: the transition is very nice n smooth. gonna check your other stuff to work with in my tracks. great work!
Hey thanks for leaving a comment ;) Other tracks I made might differ hugely from this though haha but if you like more then one genre you should be fine ;)
after second listening: u got that sound, that makes yo music not feel empty at any point - and some nice relaxed building up and down. if i only where that patient , u could be some nice inspiration. its kinda my style of minimalistic in da face but so much real detailed worked out variations - ok i m still more that punkrocker. but 1 track a day keeps the doctor away, hehe, startin 3rd time now ;)
really like that, man not just sayin because of yo comment. just scrolled the feature list and saw breakbeat... rl nice one. something between end of seventies and beginning of the 90ies must have infected all of us, now older ones (born 77). something that s between 8 bit and some modular analogue monsters, lol ;) bam sir, thats some rl invite to some asskickkin,
just wrote while listening ;) merry f...xmas m8
Rly nice sound, but what's that click in the beginning? wanted? Some nice ideas in this track, like it somehow... 1:12 reminds me alittle of some thrashmetal, guess a guitar could have worked well there (if there s one, maybe the mids are missing a bit - but thats just my taste). Good work!
thank you! no it wasn't intentional, I already took care of it soon as I heard it in the uploaded file, but since I can't upload more than once every 24 hours, I thought "meh..."
and there isn't any guitar, it's just the synth I took worked that way :D. I thank you very much for this comment ^_^, much appreciated.
Nice track with that Deadmau5 style of sidechaining the lead and the big chords, niceone. Would do little variation and glitches after break, just my taste.
Rly good job, like what u ve done there, great mix!
Wow, Spiv the noise machine - sounds like some old steammachine plugged to high voltage ;) steam is the keyword, i guess ;)))
Sick one, u really have some total unique style sir :) Like mentioned before, many fragments of yo music make me think of Einstürzende Neubauten!
Hey buddy, thanks for taking a listen! It's not really like me to lash out at the people around me, but everyone goes through that once in a while... right? I don't usually make dubstep like other people, and that's okay. I'm still like a dubstep newbie. I really appreciate the favourable comparison, and you faving this track! Take care!
M8 that levels, thought that i m the master of dynamicdestruction - but u sir... look that no track is overleveled cause of distortion, and like polyfrontic said: use limiters ;) Could be a nice track..
To make that Sid-Noise sound relaxed, is an art on its own, big up. Wouldn#t hear that all day, but real great composition - I just try to imagine how it would sound with some 12Bit+ Sound :D Real good job there...
Onboard sound isnt a good way to go, should invest a few $ into an USB-Interface (M-Audio, Tascam). Before that u could try to use a driver called Asio4all (dunno if availabele for mac, but architecture is almost the same today, so should be a solution out there). Read installinstructions with care, takin no response 4 any of my hints ;) But have done it in the past, with several machines, and was always better, than the Standard Audiodrivers (try to find best settings for buffersize for yo sound).
Other problem could be some misconfiguration of yo midicontroller - seems like it sends a skip or stop signal, maybe. 1st i would disconnect it and restart ableton in order to check this out. Check the midiproperties of yo ableton, could be send/receive problem....
When u checked all this, pls give feedback, maybe we get it done :)
Dunno what I caught except for the flu as it's so cold here, haha, but your words make me real honoured and warmer inside, Sir .
I'm sending you a big smile -atishoo ! sorry, lol .
Carole
What soundcard u use? A bufferproblem? Does it happen with more tracks earlier? Check drivers...
Use any DAW controller? Could be the problem too?
Have Machines with Midi? Could be a transport signal....
Macbook Pro 8,2. Intel High Definition Audio (non-replaceable card as far as i know) .
Its happened once before with a track with many audio and midi tracks occupied.
I doubt its a buffer problem, i have 500gb SSD, ungraded graphics card, and 16gb RAM.
Not using any machines other than MIDI controller. No interfaces.
Sounds like the Master is muted for half a beat, check the automation. if its not that check all others. it often happens to me, that i copy unwanted automation with some parts, i stored outside the mainloop, for example...
Well arranged...
I checked all automation, individual tracks and master. I seriously cant find it. I moved the entire arrangement forward like 20 bars and it still skips in the same part of the song. Its happened on other tracks to that have alot of separate tracks
