Thank you, sir! An oldie and a weirdie. Funny, I didn't really know what I was doing back then (and still likely don't) so I think I stacked everything up right in the middle back then, just a big stack of sound in the center. Now I spread things out. Anyway, I guess this was me being influenced by dubstep.
You managed to create unique atmosphere with this one...very cinematic and tense indeed and besides that it undoubtedly fits the description!
Another splendid work, my friend! The fav is on it's way!:)
Hello the talented painter of the universe,
Thank you very much for your feedback mate.
You are to kind and very generous to me mate.
Glad you like it.
Thanks again for the fav's too.
Jamid
I hope there will be no exaggeration if I say this is quintessential
ValveDriver trademark work. It brings together all important elements
that your unique progressive style is known for. Dark tone and everpresent tension work convincing as ever. The instrumentation choices are absolutely in place and I must say the synth work is fabulous and production shines !
Those exquisite 7 minutes were over in a flash...BRAVO !
Orlando. How are you? I find it interesting that you mentioned the dark tones and everpresent tension along with the progression. The signature Valvedriver sound, if you will. I find it interesting, because much like my work, yours has a signature sound as well. Of course, yours is much lighter, and generally a more positive feeling, however. It all seems to have just a touch of hidden....melancholy (we’ll go with that word.) lying just below the surface. Not to mention, your skill at composition and instrumentation far surpasses my own abilities.
None the less, it’s always good to hear from you. Much like with Ed, I consider it a treat.
Absolutely...I'm always ready for a nice collab. So when you have perhaps a piece of music that you think a bit of strings or/and piano would nicely fit in , just shoot me a message and then we'll talk and see what can we possibly do, ok?
Wow Majid...another excellent track with the high production value, but
am I missing something here...I mean...where is (or was) Return Of The Hobbit One ? Did I miss it?...and if I did I want to hear it!:) In any case, splendid job!:)
Thank you very much for your kind and encouraging feedback mate,
Mate, at the moment I am Recording one of my friend who is very talented also work and life, I am hoping to have some free time maybe we could do something together perhaps???
Glad you’ve liked it.
Thanks again for the fav’s too.

Sorry for being a bit late for this one...yes...especially for this one
cause it could be one of your loveliest tracks you ever uploaded, if not the loveliest one. Lots of good taste and feeling in there and the production is truly excellent. You're undobtedly in the middle of very creative and inspiring period of music making and every time you manage to reach new heights. Just keep up good work cause you're terrific...:)
Hello Leon ardo the great,
Thank you ever so much my dear friend for your wonderful and kind feedback.
Mate, you are very elusive lately I’ve missed you in here you left me to deal with Silverman by my self???
I hope you can come back soon.
Thanks again for your support and fav’s too.

Hey Majid my friend....celebrating new year already with a bottle of champagne in your hand?.:)^^ Nice and sweet lounge feel and very good production. Cool video btw...mmmm....who could be that lady?...:))
Keep doing a good job....you're getting better and better!
Hellllllooooo Leon ardo,
Thank you very much for your wonderful feedback mate.
Of course, the new year always early for us producers!!!
That lady, Ahhh she said she is waiting for the most famous and genius artist of the world by the name of Leon ardo to call her for a date????
Glad you’ve liked it.
Thanks again for the fav's too.

Really love the ambience you created here and that pluckish instrument is fantastic! Reminds me a bit on Mike Oldfield's cinematic works. This one may well be my personal favourite of all your works. Trully excellent job my friend !:)
Thank you very much for your kind words mate,
What?? Mike Oldfield nahhhh I’m better than him Haha.
No really mate I’m great full for your support.
Glad you’ve liked it.

Your 'icecream' making abilities are becoming really huge. You are showing continuous and consistent progress with every new effort you upload. Groovy rhythm sucks the listener in and tasty arrangements and variations are there to make the listener even more happy! Very powerful stuff my friend!:)
Thank you Orlando!
Maybe you are right. After the vocalist rejected early version of the track because he find it still too instrumental, i did not put too much energy to refine it, it's "reduced" to a guitar practice. I just "decorated" a bit then call it a day. :)
Regards, traz
thanks Orlando. I enjoy creating this kind of track. I think cranking them out now is a good idea in terms of polishing and refining my work in this genre. Not sure how/where these fit in the clubs but am gonna explore that for sure. regards - Dan
Pat...Dave is right. You are a crazy genius....any possible doubt is swept away by this one. This one is so much of the wall that I just don't have any other option but to love it immensely. I have to play this for my friends!:) We would need more of that kind of stuff but just because we have it in little portions is even more precuious and refreshing. Just keep doing what you do....sky is the limit to your creativity and inventiveness....BRAVO!
Orlando, I must thank you very much for what you've said here! To have even just one person in the world react with "love it immensely" makes me very happy, and it makes artistry worthwhile.
To be honest, this life in a US city is starting to drag me down deeply, and creativity keeps becoming more of a battle every week. There are days where I think I would do almost anything to escape this situation, and avoid what is being done to us. Comments such as yours help me feel better about things, and give me more reasons to keep working at what I love.
I just replaced another part on my old '91 Epiphone studio les paul, and you've helped encourage me to get in the studio with it... you know, stretch the strings. It's interesting handling it now, knowing what it was like when I got it. Smashed, and covered in enamel paint (not just the body, but the knobs, tuning pegs, bridge, fretboard ... everything). It's been refinished a couple of times since. Installed a pickup from a smashed yamaha to replace the one that was destroyed, roller bridge, nut, potentiometers and knobs, switch, jack... and now I find the broken off headstock of a epiphone special, so I replaced the tuning pegs with those. Parts from all over the place on that axe!
Well, thanks for listening to my rave there. I appreciate you stopping by to listen!
Such a pleasure to hear any track from you. This maybe a bit different than usual but no less unique and entertaining. Splendid incorporation of female vocals but yours are still primary force in your works. keep doing great things your way. Faved!
Hard not to be touched by this great song and masterful interpretation. It reminds me a bit on early Bee Gees, although it's probably just me...:) Instant 'fav' !
Absolutely refreshing to hear something like this... very welcoming collab...rough and straightforward in best of ways. Besides, it's very nice to hear you in excellent vocal form which makes very strong element of the tune...man you can sing really well! Thumbs up!:)
Hiya Leon! Jim has the ability to play the rhythm and lead parts at the same time and the little tasty crunches between the phrasing, I think, adds to the whole way he plays. I asked him to give me separate rhythm and lead tracks too and with the bunch of tracks he game me I had way more than enough material to make something.
The vox I just went for, I'm not a lead singer, more a backup singer. But it's fun to belt it out so why not throw some singing down, it is what it is, ha!
