Yes indeed, really dark and psychedelic! Very apropriate to listen within those very specific human moods and states of mind. Good stuff...acomplished in your trademark manner!:)

on 9000 Years Too Young by StaticNomad

Full and rich sound as always. Those 10 min were over in a flash...I know this could be dragging or even boring to some people, but I enjoyed the richness of the sounds and I found lead bass as a highlight here! This one is a favourite!

Greetings.

Good to hear it didn't feel too long as it's something I often worry about. There are some very nice sounds in here and I even considered sticking it in the 'ambient' category. Still not fair that there isn't a 'psychedelic' category. Especially when there's 'moombhaton' (what the hell is that?) and 8-bit chiptune.

This actually reminds me a little of a long track you uploaded something like 6 months ago. Not the same sounds but a related vibe.

I think the bass guitar in this sets it apart from other related tracks in this sort of genre. You'd normally expect the bass to just be low end (as I do here with the synth bass) but higher lead bass guitar is unconventional. I guess the slide playing is also a bit unusual for this genre.

Thanks again.

on times passing by silverman

Although I'm not too much into techno genre myself, I have to admit this is some incredibly cool stuff with lot's of variety
for that length of a track. Very creative...and the most important...yes, there is a clock in it!:)

Big compliments for this one_____Orlando

silverman replied 20th May 2015 - 11 years ago

hankyou Orlando for your nice comments.
Thankyou everyone else too.

Taken me ages to figure out how to take this thing down so it doesn't pop back to the top everytime I comment on someone elses stuff but I think I've managed now.
I enjoyed doing this track but have heard enough of it already!

Yeah....there's really some kind of infernal feel to it which is mixed with an almost schizophrenic contrast...a bit special tune!:)

All the best_____Orlando

Byleth replied 30th Dec 2014 - 11 years ago

I like this comment Orlando, If you check my link on the description you may understand where I took the schizophrenic contrast and I have a natural talent to turn tune in dark/infernal concept.
