Superb piece of music. I often times forget that I'm listening to so called 'amateur' music on here, as some of it is good.

Thanks for sharing.

I like your style and enjoyed listening. Although I couldn't turn it up too loud, as there were a couple of small issues, but I'm the last person you should listen to when it comes to mixing and mastering :)

Good solid tune though, and 3 minutes just seemed to vanish.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice tune. The whole thing feels well defined and executed, although I would have liked to have heard the vocals coming through a bit more, but that's it. Enjoyed it very much.

Thanks for sharing.

Loved it. It took me somewhere, not sure where that was, but it definitely took me somewhere, and that's always the main thing I look for in a song.

Thanks for sharing.

Indeed Mildperil, credit to Dansmiths great sensitivity and all round brilliance in all of his playing and KnowKontrol's great vocal and lyrical arrangement.

Really cool track. It's got a really nice familiar feeling about it, but still sounding like its own thing.
I wasn't sure if I was going to like it after the first thirty seconds, but I listened until the end and really enjoyed it.

I love the fact that there are subtle changes all the way through, as it's turned what could just be an ordinary beat into a little journey, and I totally went with it. And as a result, I now believe in monsters.

This is excellent, and I'm really looking forward to the added vocals. I'd recommend a vocal suite to go along with your new microphone as well, something like Ozone Nectar 2. You can pick cheap legit serials at KVR or Gearslutz for pretty cheap.

Any chance you could tell us a bit more about the song? What instruments used etc.?

Cheers, and thanks for sharing :)

on Billion Feat T-Law - Anytime by BillionaireExclusive
I really liked this. Although I have to say that the auto tune seems a bit too heavy on the male vocals, but the female vocals were really quite beautiful and entrancing.

It sounds really well produced and well thought out as well, and quite looking forward to any future releases.

Thanks for sharing :)

Thank you so much man. There will be another release within another week for you to look forward. I'm still in the learning phase of using autotune, but truthfully my voice sounds almost the same without it lol. But thanks again

I absolutely love soundscapes, so this won my heart instantly, especially alongside the write up you offered in the description.

And I honestly could have listened to it for a lot lot longer, and in fact was quite disappointed when it finished.

I've only listened to a couple of your tracks so far, and really looking forward to to the rest!

Thanks for sharing :)

Very cool mate, I really like it!

My poor vocal timing didn't do it any justice though, but it's definitely given me ideas for any future tracks.

Thanks for having faith in the original track to want to download and remix it, it means a lot. And thanks for sharing :)

That totally took me back a bit. It even reminded me of Future Sound Of London's early stuff, which is no mean feat.

Such a nice feel to it as well and it left me wanting more. I've actually really missed this genre, and it's made me want to dig out some of my older stuff and give it another listen as some memories have very much been evoked.

Really enjoyed that, and thanks for sharing :)

It definetly has a bit oldschool vibe in it. Love the good old beachparties with this music in your ear dancing till morninglight. The genre is still there but is more underground now because all of the boombastic EDM nowadays.
Thank you very much for your comment! Love to see mindlike people on here :p

The guy on vocals seriously needs to do more, he is absolutely excellent. I mean, the whole track is top notch, but the vocals for me are just class and give the whole sound such an edge.

I can't praise it highly enough, this is some of the best music I've heard in a long time, and I'm so pleased I stumbled across it.

Hats off, and thank you for sharing :)

Thanks so much for your kind words. The guy on vocals is our drummer, Scott. He just started with vocals, so he will appreciate your comment.

This genuinely made me laugh out loud. Although I was a little upset that no pirates were shot during the making of this track, so I'm not sure if I'll be back again, as that was pretty much the only reason I wanted to listen to this song in the first place.

Apart from that, thanks for putting a smile on my face, and thanks for sharing :)

vigwig replied 3rd Jul 2016 - 9 years ago
Maybe when I get around to posting my track "Pirates from Tortuga" your desire for pirates being shot will be rewarded. The comment you refer to refers to that track.
And I am so glad I satisfied my desire to make someone laugh out loud such as some have at my "I Nearly Choked on My Burrito" track. LMBehimndO. Vig

To have blended all of those genres together is a brilliant skill, I would have made a right old mess if it was left up to me.

Great first song to start the day with, it's put me in a great frame of mind.

Thank you man!

You make it sound as I did something on purpose - the truth is I started just riffing with the wahwah, and then I got this 8 bar sequence down, which was a little tricky as I tried to gently squeeze the wah pedal all the way in one direction during the "chackachakcka" bit - (the "instinct" is to go up and down). Then I did the second wahwah loop, and once these were down I built up the song, adding bits and pieces. Then when the drums came in I asked Raymond to do another track of percussion, and gave him a link to some drumming I thought would fit. He did something completely different, but actually much better. Same with the bass. I had something totally different in mind, but Brian insisted on something else - which was not less good by all means - and I just mixed it. So it came out totally different from what I wanted - but I love it - it is better than I could have imagined :)

Thanks for listening, and thanks for your kind remarks, that made MY day :)

Very pleasant indeed, and quite meditative as well.

Had me drifting away as I was listening to it, and could have listened for much longer! Some more subtle vocals would have been nice, but that's obviously just for me.
