Really cool track, Dan. I don't know what 'trap' is, but I must like it, since I like yours. Nice keyboard!
Franco and I did a song with Bonnie's pella called 'Cause I Want To.' Is this the same pella you used? It's on our ScottFranco page if you want to check it out. It's a quit different sound.
Hey thanks Scott for the compliment....yeah I know your more of a jazz man. I'll check out your track but I believe they probably are the same. I just used bits a pieces of her vocals though and not the whole song. Cheers, Dan
Billydragon does some awesome spoken word, and this one fits the music really well! I like the subtle variations in the music, keeps me interested. Nice piano playing too! I could see this being even better if you either slightly lowered the vocals volume, or went a little lighter on the mastering gain. I'm not sure whether you used a compressor or limiter or whatever, but maybe just ease back on the threshhold and make up gain and I think it would be more clear and less distorted. Just a thought though, I like it much as is! Fine work my friend! Hope all is well!
Hey thanks Spiv! Yeah I love some of Billy's spoken words. He's really good at expressing himself. Thanks for the suggestions as well. I thought this one needed some more tinkering done to it....that's why I didn't have it featured. Appreciate the compliment on the keys as well. I used the same notes on another recent track that is featured called Want To featuring Bonnie Rabon's pellas. It's more of a chilled trap song though. Peace my friend and thanks for droppin in.
Hey Dan....you outdid yourself on this one man...the vocal may be the star...but I gotta say you did one superb job on the keys (piano & synth)...you`ve got a great sound mix...has that late night loungy vibe with a sprinkle of R&B going on...well composed and perfectly delivered...gotta fav this one.....Ed
And extra thanks to you Ed for faving this piece! Really appreciate your thoughtful remarks as always and I'm looking forward to hearing more of your excellent tracks as well! Dan
This track has a mental melody. That bassline reminds me a little of new order or perhaps front 242.
I Like it when the guitar lick comes in that reminds me of the cult a little.
I would have said that this track is more electronic than industrial though.
Regardless of that it;s definitely a bit different and i;m enjoying listening to it. It does have some indusrtrial elements to it but on the whole it's definitely electronic.
Cheers for sharing.

That piano bit followed by that big rich pad is a real grabber Dan...the quiet bit at 2:10 just lets the whole thing soak into your brain....what a great mix of the big industrial power with really tasty musical elements...some thoughtful composing here too...It may not be a genre I have spent much time listening to but its dam good music in any genre Dan....great job.....Ed
Thanks Ed for the kind remarks and compliments. Yeah the second part at 2:10 is my favorite part on this track. I enjoyed composing this and may do some more future industrial tracks. Appreciate you dropping in and its good to see you back. Peace out.....Dan =B-)
Hey Static thanks for the excellent remarks and helpful suggestion with the intro guitar. I had a feeling you probably would dig this tune. Extra thanks for the fav! Really appreciate you listening and commenting. Means a lot coming from a fellow rock artist. Looking forward to hearing more of your tunes. Dan =B-)
Dan...I posted a mix, just to let you see what I did, didn't really know how
you wanted to play this...To post or not to post that was the question... :-)
I posted....Downloads are open..
The track needs drums now kinda thinking in terms of Pads real simple, give
it that todays bounce..
smooth and beautiful. You've made that acapella sound superb with those electric piano chords (is that a rhodes?)
Then the string section comes in and i have to say it's quite the opposite of my row that you left comments on.
Digging that saxaphone as well.
This track is really pleasant on your ears, I've not long woken up and i think i might go back to sleep after this.
Cheers for chilling me out.

Hey thanks FreeRadical for the kind words. Appreciate you droppin by to listen...always glad to put people at ease with a chillout tune. And yes this is the Rhodes playing in the background. Cheers
sweet dust! The piano speaks nice in the mix. Nice use of pad with choir to surround, bring the listener in. Excellent around 2:24 that distorted sound adds a nice break to the overall energy. Which was my favorite part of this idea. Interesting mix of sounds Dan, Thanks for sharing and keep at it. Peace.
Hey thanks DI for the wonderful remarks! Really glad you like this piece and thanks for the fav! Wasn't sure how many would like industrial music but I'm glad to receive positive responses to this piece. Thanks for listening! :)
Really cool take on the old school industrial vibes that I love so much! The mid heavy synth bass arpeggio thing is grea, I love that kind of sound! When the pad sort of things come in the mix gets really deep and engaging. Good sound to the break, especially with the guitar soloing, gets you ready for the heavy stuff that follows. Jammin track, you did great! Faved!
Hey Spiv! Really appreciate your comments and support. Your thoughts are well to the point and you really describe the depth of this track. Thanks for faving this bro! Really means a lot! Peace.....Dan =B-)
Man you made that work in such a solid way, love the simplicity you've
placed her voice in the middle of a great track...
Strong Lyrics with her flavoured Voice you've got some Magic here...
I'm hearing a simple jazzy guitar line, dancing with her voice not on her
just in and around her voice, going to the keyboard line every now and then..
Well done by you both...
If you don't mind I'd like to try something, I'll let you know
then you can say yes or no...
Hey TG thanks for the comments and listening in. Yeah Samantha has a great voice...so I couldn't help but put some music together to compliment her voice. Glad you like this piece. I'll be honored for you to work with this to make it sound better. I'm always interested to see what other artists come up with. Peace....Dan.
Hey SubFreq thanks for the support! Glad you like this piece. Yeah industrial tracks are pretty cool but it's not one of my specialties. In fact this is only the second one I've done so far. Really appreciate the comments and listening in. Peace..... Dan
I have no idea what was this track doing in the drawer for 7 months !? It deserved to be published immediately! It's a powerful industrial punch with enough changes and dynamics to keep it interesting. This one is 'fav' for sure !:)
Hey Orlando, cheers for the really positive response! Yeah I wasn't sure rather I wanted to add more to this piece or not. That's why I kept it drawer for awhile. Really appreciate the comments and thanks for listening and favoring this piece! ^___^
Great track, love the intro then the change at 0.38, some nice interchanges from.038 - 2.10, great guitar in the bridge and then into the outro, the outro was great as well. Nice vocal effect too. I Had the feel off U2 and New Years Day with the Piano sound ( that's probably just me!!)A really good piece of work, a fav for me and welcome back!
Hey thanks Mark/Larry! Glad you like this. Appreciate the comments and it's good to be back. I'll be posting more soon and listening to other inspiring tunes on here as well. Peace out! Dan
Hey Dan - I thought you had some new tunes up but it turned out that I hadn't even listened to this one so it's new to me anyway.
And what a tune!!!
So sensual, with that subtle instrumental you created to carry Samanthas delicate vocal.
I'm enjoying this immensely!
Really good job on this.
Hey thanks SJ! Glad you enjoyed this. I have some more projects in the making for 2014...i'll be posting them soon. Thanks for listening and the comments! ^_____^
I dig this very much! Great sounding drums, and your mix is spot on! I'm getting into trap a lot lately, and it's nice to hear this one! I'd like to play this on my hip hop/rap/trap/trip hop sort of show on loopradio.net if that's okay. Faved for sure! Thanks for the DL!
Hey thanks Spiv! I appreciate the compliments! Yeah trap is becoming my favorite genre to mix with too. I'll be honored for you to play this on loopradio.net! It will be nice for it to have more recognition. Thanks again for listening and for the comments! B-)

0:19 guitar sounds a bit odd when it comes in. Bit naked or something - could probably do with some reverb.
Entry of the banging beat and things are really kicking!
Very insistent stuff. Maybe it's a little too straight and could do with a bit of loose quantise, maybe a bit of shuffle or a bit of swing.
Piano is a nice touch and a bit surprising. I like the combination of high plinky notes and those lower chords. Good reverb on it.
Then the big pad takes us somewhere else.
I guess this sort of is industrial but it's also very melodic. Definite soundtrack music.
Buzzy guitar breakdown and back with the banging beats and it's gone a bit heavier but still melodic.
A distinctive track with a hell of a lot going for it. Classy stuff, I say.
I shall make it a favourite.
