oh yes the lady does indeed have a wonderful natural style about her vocal delivery..and you have it wrapped up in a nice warm blanket with the music...great listening over my way Dan......kudos to you on the mix too...really like the way you kept the vocal nicely up front..clear & distinct...great job & great listening...I could use lots more like this.....Ed
Samantha + Dan = Listening pleasure, really like the rhodes, @2mins it starts good but then @2:19 the transintion back is a bit off. I suggest keeping the toms going and fading them out.
I enjoy listening to this one. Good work!
Cheers Charlene...yeah she has an amazing voice but yours is good too. You should put some acapellas up. I would love to work with your vocals. ^_____^
Hey glad to know you are a fan of this music! Thanks for listening and commenting. You never know what you can do when you put your mind to it. You should give it a shot. ;-)
I'm hating and loving this at the same time - it's a badass track!
Very effective (an at the same time annoying) synth line, it stucks immediately.
Cool wobbles and break downs.
If someone comes up with a cool vocal to this it could be a super hit.
I didn't know you made this kind of music, Dan! You are very versatile as a producer.
lol...Hey thanks SJ for taking the time to listen and the compliments. Yeah I don't do this type of music often but I like to experiment with all kinds of genres. You seem to be the same way...looking forward to hearing some more of your tracks.
Well, Dan...I must admit, I have no idea what 'Trap' is, so I thought I'd give it a listen and expand my knowledge. It's a very interesting piece of work, but again I must admit, I am more confused now, than when I first listened! I'll check out more of the genre and see if I can understand it a bit better
Cheers Scott! Appreciate you listening and taking the time to comment. Yeah trap is becoming a popular genre to more urban listeners. Check out trapnet.com on soundcloud. You will hear more proper trap music on that site. ^___^
This track is dirty, in a very good way. The synth/bass used from 0:49 and throughout seems to be the main part. This is something that could be listened to while chilling with some fellas. I like this, man!
The arrangement of voice with these effects, is very well done, and surprising. I like this unusual concept ....
Thank you for sharing this moment of creative quality ....
Very interesting. I like a lot the idea of the hunting voice panning from one side to the other (I am listening with headphones).
I think you have some "distortion" on the voice (I know that you have added a "chopped-white-noise" sound in background, but I think you have some additional clipping in the vocal track).
The distorted guitar is a nice touch: well done!
Enjoyed this little gem.
Thanks.

Hey Dansjoy nice trap ditty here. Thanks for sharing it.
also much respect to ya on your site with it's remarkable range of different genres of music. it's very cool. I'll be sure to come back check out some more
A haunting feel to this track. As if listened after several sleepless nights...
I was waiting for a resolution of some kind, a beat or something but it really works this way also.
Thanks SJ! Yeah I kinda wanted a little mysterious feel to this piece using synth pads. Didn't really want to ruin the mood using drums or other instruments. Appreciate the comment and lending an ear to this. ^____^
Good things come from experimentations :) Good job! A piano melody would be cool to add. you got a great base to build on. What did u bake for Darkreine? I want some too!
Not bad man!
The music fits pretty well the vocal part, and I know that the "reverse engineering" process of finding the right chords for an already existing pella is not easy at all.
Well done!
Domenico
PS: one technical note.
You have some clipping in your track, nothing too bad anyhow.
But as general recommendation, if you don't have enough time to recheck all the channels one by one, try to keep some free headroom on them, this will avoid clipping.
And you can do the same for your "master volume": you don't have necessarily to reach "0db" on your output meter.
Most tools will normalize for you while "bouncing" your mix, thus bringing the levels to a nominal 0db.
For sure not the best workflow, but it ensures that you don't have any clipping.
And sorry for the ramble...
It's a good start, but needs a little work to make it great. I found the baking a little repetitive. You need to pad it out with more instruments. Timing and composition fir really well. Keep doin it and don't stop believing in yourself!!
It's a match! Definitely working with that haunting synth and the rhythm but from 1:20 I'm thinking it could fit in with some more texture - maybe a piano coming in and emphasing the melody or something?
Thanks SJ! Hmmmmm.....didn't think about adding a piano in this piece. You might be on to something. I'll see if I can come up with a nice piano progression in a remix. Cheers! =B-)

Love patricia's vocals,beat n sounds work fine.!
I think the tip about maybe adding a bit of piano is ideal,as this track has room for that,or some soft strings.!
But as it is,it's still real smooth and enjoyable so nice work!
