time for some crucethus! i would say it stayed in the jazzy realm and the halloween realm alltogether. nicely done. I have read the thread that said something about making a halloween type of arrangement and well you nailed that :D good stuff keep it comming

Thanks KB ,I think I did stay in the funky zone with a touch of darkness. Im a little flummoxed by all the accolades for this tune, but hey, the public is a better judge than I am sometimes on my music. Thanks for the props and hanging out in the Cru-Zone

My first sentence should be the same as Danke's but I don't want to be accused of plagiarism, yet the fact is that I'm still hardly catching up with all good things on Looperman.
And no doubt...you're one of the most established creators

I loved this whole thing! I used to play trumpet, and the muted trumpets brought back alot of memories. Thanks for sharing this song!

Cool about the trumpets. I wanted some brass to give that Dixie funeral vibe. I also experimented with some reverb spaces with the muted trumpet around 2:50 to give depth and bring in the rhodes piano jazz chords. thanks for commenting.

You can learn so much from the musicians on this site and understand what we do as loopers (arrangers). But you will find that you will have knowledge to give us as well, and that´s the cool part. For some reason, I imagine this being background music to a video where the camera pans all around a human-grinding factory.

I have no idea why, but the track is good enough to make me think about what this could be used for, and to actually envision something in my head is great! Well done Cru, great job!

I should have listened to this before I got farting around playing the one I just posted...but I went mellow before I even got the old Strat picked up...like the classic funk guitar stuff of course and with the cool drum kit & your synth elements it makes for a totally awesome parade...even us living could enjoy it enough to take a chance of joining in (I aint got much brain left anyway)....Fab stuff Steve my man...as always...great listening out this way......Ed
