I don't really know what's happening, all I know is that North Korea is showing off, and that's really bad since we're near to that place...

Politics aside, that oriental feel on the start was dominating. Sounds like I'm in a chinese movie, really. Are those little stringed instruments (forgot the name) samples or were by yours?

Anyways, great track! Cheers

The emporer in North Korea reminds me of a giant dumb rabbit like the ones bred for food I think they are called the Flemish giant he can't seem to get his rockets to work correctly so far so good. Cool unusual and thought provoking track best regards.

I thinkafter what the Yanks did to NK in the 50's this guy just wants some form of protection. Hurt his country and he can hurt back on quite a large scale. America only likes to fight people who can't fight back.
Thank you for your time and positive commentsX

Paints just the right kind of picture of the crazy planet we live on let in many places by crazy people....Can`t see our species ever giving up its tribal ways but aside from all that...this was both an interesting and a fun listen...feel like the dogs of war are biting at my arse...think I`ll go out on the deck with my acoustic guitar & a beer...Cheers.....great stuff (as always) silverman...well done....Ed

The people who run this planet are driven by greed and self self self.
They are indeed crazy.
A global law should be enacted limiting wealth to a billion thereby stopping people becoming so obsessed with more more and more which is damaging to the rest of us.
I'm sure 95% of the people of the world want food shelter security for themselves and loved ones and not much more yet thios small percentage have other ideas.
Anyway glad you liked my little effort at worldly affairs.
I'm going to have a beer right now in the sunshine. Lovely warm sunshine the last few days here in the Welsh mountains.

A very cool and interesting piece, though I feel like I missed out on a few minutes of the offering... oh well, maybe it was meant to be. Honestly, the first thing I though of when reading the title was a secret garden stash of arugula... but I guess that I just have plants on my mind right now. Just wildcrafted my first ramps, and man was that a good salad! Spring is definitely in full bloom here. If I ignore what is happening around the world until I can make a difference there, then things seem to work out okay personally. It's hard... I just have to avoid social media and the like. Thank you for making this cool and unusual work of art! Dig it! Fave!

You captured the feel of tension in that volatile region of the world. Now that US missiles have been placed in that region causing more tension than ever, the whole world should be worried about what that could incite. Two of the most egotistical, illogical and insane leaders squaring off can only lead to a downward spiral, it's scary.

Plenty here to listen closely to and ponder what will happen. Lot's of Asian sounding instruments and the vocal samples work well in setting the scene.

Whoa, my dosimeter just went off so it's time to run for the hills!! Well done!

Cheers Wayne.
America never seem to know quite how to handle people who can fight back.
The people of the south are now targets like never before and are very angry.
Tried to keep this as peaceful as possible while giving it a sinister edge. Tempting to fill it with the sounds of battle fx but I think that would take away from it rather than add to it.
Thanks again for your time and encouragement.

Very cool/groovy track you got going here. The drums mixed with those cool chosen sounds makes for a very entertaining ride. This one is very different from other tracks that I have heard and I most definitely appreciate that. Unlike so many other tracks this track has so much going on with all of the elements you decided to place on this one and I have to say I'm quite impressed.

Thanks for the journey!

Dang this is some out there composition! It's not the kind of thing I've been hearing on Looperman lately, although it reminds me of some sort of fusion between Vig Wig and Beyonce Monroe... who are some of my all time favorite loopers. I don't know what you did to design the guitar chops, but they are sweet! Disturbing, in such a comforting way. Thank you for sharing this! Big Fave, with a side of download!

you are a creative bloke silverman...and I`m smiling as I listen to this one..so you can tell I`m enjoying it...I`m looking at that hard brick-wall limiting on the file and wondering why you have it sounding so good...but it does indeed sound right on....great track mate....keep on....Ed

Thank you Tumble.
Brick wall limiting?
That could be a preset!
I do like to think of myself as creative.
Glad you enjoyed it.
Nice to bring a smile to a face.
I enjoyed the ghead banging foot tapping moments throughout the creation.
I think my next painting will be a relaxation/meditaional one.
I think though that the slower things are the more difficult they become to create.
I'll be back.

Wow my friend...we have quite some creativity here. This is incredibly
entertaining....calling it pop again?...haha...like it! For some reason it reminds me on some Spiv's works cause it carries just proper dosage of grotesque and I adore that immensely. Super cool, my friend..faving it is a must!:)

Ha haaa I see what you did there! Sorry about my dreadful typing skills or lack of.
Sorry to not fully review your track either but if I spot the words adult content I give it a miss. That's why that choice is there so people like me get a warning.
No reflection on your skills talent etc which I obviously didn't get to hear. Next time when it's clean.

Mr. Silverman!

Welcome back...and what an epical come back...in the pop genre...it's more than humorous, this is your unique sarcasm...:-)
...and well, the track...is a report with those outstanding fxes and musical rarities...your attitude to make a number is extra and incredible...
agreed with Orlando, this is one of your best...

hats off with my handshake Sir, Danke

Thank you very much Danke glad you spotted the humour. When it came to posting it up I thought .... what the hell is this thing? Pop music it is then.
I need really to shorten it there's one stretch that goes on a bit. It turned out to be quite a complex thing. Mr Kim is in the news a lot lately and I just had to try and paint a picture of the scene. But since Orlando's post I'm now seeing him with long hair and a headband flicking the two fingers peace sign at everyone! Fifty two individual tracks on here can you believe.
Thank you so much for your kind and encouraging words.

Hi Silverman...long time no c !

Welcome to North Korea...right? What a remarkably creative work. Sounds to me as some kind of mixture of pop, cinematic and world music but it's even beyond that. This must be one of your longest tracks but also one of
the best...seems remarkably sophisticated to me. How long did it take to make? In any case excellent job...The emperor should hear it..:)

The emperor should here it I like that! If only we could get him to join here he might become all love joy peace!
Velly solly mister Trumps but playing with my organ today!

I've spent around forty hours spread over a month on getting it this far and now need to cut it down. But not sure I'll have the energy to do that. Once I post them I tend not to go back.
Thanks Mister O for your very kind words and your time.

Nice musical commentary on current affairs. I hear Chinese traditional: I am loving the mixing of sounds and genres. masterful so far my friend. The panned chanting is awesome as well. I s that a North Korean nuke I hear launching. 3:30 it just get ominous sounding. Then @ 6:32 it gets interesting with that sinister beat and semi Phrygian scale. reminds me slightly of Bear Mcrearyś sound in BSG. Awesome song my friend. I enjoyed that experience. Nice sub bass end as well.
cool.

Thanks for the encouregment Cruce.Hello Mister Steve. How nice to arrive here and find three of the most creative and talented people on these boards liking my work! I wanted ominous as you do in a potential third world war scenario but I also wanted a calm Emperor proudly defending his people and paddy fields his culture and dreams.
I need to shorten it somewhat. Thanks for the encouragement mate.

Has to come and hear another one of yours this morning! I like the compositional ideas behind this one very much!

The simulated live drum feel is quite cool in the context, and adds a lot to the vibe and groove.

The bass performance is awesome. I guess I found myself hoping for more "beef" to the bass recording though. It sounded like it could be doubled and phase cancelling, or possibly it was a too deep EQ process. It sounded good, but kind of felt lost amongst the other elements.

Seems like the ideas present in this song could be fleshed out into an entire EP, since there are so many aspects, especially later in the song. Would be a fun and trippy disc to spin!

There was the sound of strong clipping in sections. Lowering some of the parts could help with the presence of the bass while healing the clipping. It's hard to say though.

I enjoyed the funk soul, my brothah.

Well this is a pretty funktastic piece. There's some mojo in here for sure, so I don't think you've lost it at all. I like the first half better than the second, however. The break at about 2:55 felt a bit abrupt, and then I felt the 2nd part was less cohesive than the first, like you're trying out some ideas but they haven't quite completely gelled. I like the darkness of the cello(?) but then couldn't follow some of the musical logic of how that was incorporated into the flow. There's definitely potential here, and mojo, so break out of that lazy funk and get to work!

I enjoy the funky groove, familiar sounds and some great use of strings. Also some unexpected dissonance along the way which I am always up for!

I might stick with the funky synth sounds more and the acoustic sounds somewhat less for coherence sake.

Great writing - lots of development and variety. It's an enjoyable ride! Best regards - Dan

Sounds like something Carlos Santana and his 15 man band would play in the 60s, this part part of the jam is the 40 minute mark when the acid trip starts to kick in for most of the band members. Some of the band members already took their acid 2 or 3 hours ago. In the jam you can hear Santana experimenting with diferent guitars and guitar sounds but sometimes he's just laid out on the floor, great stuff.
