I gotta put it to u bro, this song is captivating, so many elements in one song, yet it holds together well. Love the idea of the beep (which so frequently wakes me up and drives me mad!ha). Ur inventive and creative bro..and the combo makes for great music..FAVOURITE..peace
How you been B? I know what you're saying..most of the credit has to go to Donald, I just added drums, perc, bass and a little synth in the middle...but I do think this track is unlike any either of us have done before..glad you enjoyed it bro.
Got it mate. Tried doin it the way you did, but for some odd reason the link stayed as simple text. Prolly because of the other HTML code I added in the desc, shrugs. Just to letch know I've been messin with the track. I added some synth n effected drum bits. Wanna know somethin funny- when I tried to use the stuff ya sent me on the one prog I'm usin they wouldn't go because of 'em bein in .mp3 format. Lame aint it? Oh well, I'll tinker with convertin 'em tomorrow sometime. Later on mang!
Maybe we should start using filehosting sites, then we could send up .wav files....I think when I tried to render them that way they came out too big for email...Can't wait to hear what you've done D!
Don'tcha just hate 'em? The arrangement you've got so far sounds pretty tight. Dunno what you were tryin to go for though so I can't comment there.
And as for what the others said. I can relate to the space thing, but only in the floating aspect. To me this would go great with some mystic Asian 'Third Eye' type stuff. What with levitation, telekinesis, ESP, etc. The only thing unclear here is whether it'd be of Hindu or Bhuddist influence. Later on mate!
Aargh it's really frustrating...the new Spectrasonics plugin I've been using has just been messing me about...I gotta have another look at this one..I hear what you're saying about the mystical influence...I think it's got quite a few elements in here...anyway I'm heading over to your place now...1!
Sounds like plumbing work being done on Skylab....This is great! super ambient mood that you can become completely immersed in.....Stellar is right!.....cheers planet
lost me at the 45 sec bass insert, but nice bass, just get on getting the wobs right and you'll be set to go :)
Synth needs to be turned down, put a sick reverb/delay on the hi hats/snare and you got yourself a nice track...from my perspective =P hope it helped

ur track is not weird son i find it in one hand of a good developin hiphop punk its nice...keep up the flow..and yeah on this i think you shud add some slit snare and a low kick to boost the temple but otherwise ur work is awsome...1love
Love the intro .... immediately interesting. I love tracks with unusual vocal samples, and this is one. Right, left, no a little more right, left, left, LEFT! lol Terrific!
This has got me hyped man! It like an underground grime track man, loving that synth..ur talented bro..i cud jam to this all day man..peace..FAVOURITED..
Makes me think of the movie where the're underwater. Where the big alien ship brings them to the surface to save them at the end. Can't believe I can't think of the name of it. Real nice.
Rain Drop effects generator or instrument I hear on this? Now for a completely random question- have you ever seen those instruments made out of Wood & Cactus Quills that they sell in some music shops?
Delving deeper into random- have you been to Space.com recently? They had an article or 3 yesterday reporting on Voyager II and how when it exited the Solar system they discovered that it's really Egg shaped or dented.
Score one for the home team because you've done a decent job making an Abstract/Ambient track. Lates!
If I remember correctly, it's a sound I got from Native Instruments Kore 2...they've got some pretty good stuff locked up in there. About the instruments, I can't say I have seen them...what're they called??
Thanks a lot for the review D, always appreciated!
you need to get some other kind of beat or percussion in there, more texture makes people really listen carefully :) and also, love the blip and tweeting(?) thrown in.
I'm not sure...I mean the tempo is definitely, conventionally too fast for hip hop, but at the same time that's the vibe I get...but I'm happy for you to call it whatever, as long as you enjoyed it lol...cheers.
