This is definitely a fun track. The drums are quite satisfying - I've become accustomed to hearing subpar drums from some producers in this genre and you passed the test! There are a few spots that are a bit empty to my ears but the song is well-produced. What do you use for your sounds? They're very crisp.
Thanks for leaving a cmment Brado! I always use a lot of time to make the drums as they are the backbone in a (dance) track. I am glad I passed that test :). I use the best vsts available. For this track I used serum and spire. Serum is for a lot of people the nr1 at the moment but for a novice I find spire easier to work with. Can you give me an example of a part where you feel is too little? I can maybe change that. When you hear a track more often you are getting used to the flow of it and dont see the things that can be changed or enhanced.
Very pleasing song you've created here! I am not a house expert by any means, but from what I've heard, this is really good! Definitely the sort of song I like when I need something to inspire energetic action. I like that in a song. Some very classic sort of sounds you incorporated in the mix, so it's familiar yet fresh. Dig it. Since I try to read the previous comments while listening to the song, I found some of them very entertaining, such as.... "This is excellent mud" and "Very professional finish to this Mud." They both sounded like people calling the song "mud" as opposed to a nick name or term of endearment to you... I don't know, I just thought it was funny. Very cool song! Fave!
Hahaha...I know what you mean. The name Mudhoen is a frisian name of a fish and actually has something to do with mud. I chose it as a joke but now been using this name for 2 years already :p. But I am glade you liek the track. I tried to make a classic sound with some nowadays techniques. thanks for the comment and fav!
I'm going to download this one for my car driving cd's.
Where I live we have a four lane highway that skims the ocean in several places goes through mountain tunnels even under the sea at one point. The scenery is ocean forests hills mountains and it's my favourite road journey which I get to do often at day and night and I have to do it fast.
This is ideal, for those journeys.
Very professional finish to this Mud.
Thanks for the comment. I was on holidays so read your comment now. I love the scenery you describe. All the natures greatest in one drive :p. Hopefully it didnt get boring after a few listens. Still learning to get mixing right but it slowly gets better.
Awesome fresh vibes here! You put in several elements with a variety of synths and leads patterns. It's very atmospheric and displayed your great idea of control within this track too. I love that plucky-like synth around 2:17. That's my favorite transition throughout the whole track. Cheers man! :)
Hey Mudhuen, this one is realy fresh stuff
Trancie House one. A kind of genre i realy can enjoy!
Sound i really well
And all sounds are well chosen.
Great mix and mastering.
Hopefully the weather will go better next :) to fit more to this fine track.
for sure one of the better stuff here on LM (for me)
Thanks a lot for the comment and positive feedback. I am honoured to hear that you like it a lot. The weather will be the same as here in Bremen. But we just have to keep the faith! :-)
Hey mudhoen very nice track, a tune befitting summer for sure. Luv the groove and that you didn't over do the effects on the tune. Only thing I had wished, was that you had done a slow fade out on the groove at the end. Other than that, very nice track and a fav for sure. Great job!
You are definetly right. In teh summer this track is way better than in cold winter. I faded the pad out at the end. Maybe I should have dobe teh same with the groove. Will take a look at it! Thanks for the comment!
Thanks Byleth, She actually says this but because i put on some delay it sounds like this is :p. I am glad you like the atmosphere of the track. It worked out pretty good!
This is top notch mudhoen...really extra cool dancing/club mix with all the best elements...I hear a lot of thoughtful work you put into the composition & production...but most importantly..its damn good listening ...absolutely no suggestions from me...big well done to you...Ed
I never got a chance to really listen to this genre. This kind of is music is refreshing. Do you have any recommendations of music to listen too in this genre?
Well, I got inspired by teh Supperclub albums. Mixes you can find on Soundcloud. Otherwise Paul Oakenfield(as mentioned below) also makes this kind of music back in the day.
I'm not much of a house lover but this is really good.
You have a good, sparse groove to kick things off and the delays in that intro work really well. Very chilled and funky.
0:30 fatter beat and new synth riff kicks in at just the right time. Some bits of vocals in there, I think. Great mix and I can hear everything really clearly.
A breakdown now that you've got people moving so that they can sway gently in anticipation waiting for the big drop and the fatter beat to return.
There aren't really melodies I can particularly remember so far but that's not meant to be a criticism. This is about atmosphere and groove, in a dance format, so I appreciate that.
Final dancey section has some nice reverb on the synths and then you conclude on a warm but fuzzy pad sound.
Thanks Static. You really know how to make atmosphere in a track so to have your seal of approval i know i am heading in the right direction. There is no melody in it as i didnt feel necessary to make it as the chords itself stand out good enough.

I really like your synths choice for that one makes its pretty atmospheric and pleasant to hear through a headphone.
btw what the voice say ; i heard "kiss" or "this is" anyway I found that a good add-on for your track.
Peace from master Byleth.

Quite a short track but that's fine.
Overall: no real criticisms or suggestions.
It's just a good house track.
