Was reading your description during the intro... when I got to the part about "Steal My Sunshine" being an old song, I finally realized that I am becoming elderly. I've never heard that song without the vocals, but I can hear the parallels in style for sure. I like the crazy sample chopping in this. Not what I expect when clicking on a hip hop track, but it's a pleasant surprise. Had fun listening throughout!

Thanks Pat! I know what you mean on that note, I feel that way too sometimes. Hip hop usually doesn't have as much chopped vocals as this song does, but I like to keep things original so I'm grateful for that ! Thanks for always stopping, always appreciated.

I actually like track. It sounds like it was fun making it. I love the groove. The Bass sounds good but could probably come down a little as far as volume. I am not too good at vocals myself so I can help too much there.

You got a real talent though keep perfecting it.

Man, here in TN, this song is truly accurate. It's winter time, but feels like it's the summer mainly. Never been as hot as it is during this time of year ever! Makes this track even more enjoyable! Haha!

The weather is like that out here too! It's actually a bit scary when you think about it. Normally we usually would have snow around this time, but we haven't seen a drop yet and it's really hot for the winter. I hope this doesn't become a trend.

That's exactly what it feels like here in Maine! More like spring... This reminds me of Eminem. Great all the original styles here, influenced by our favorite artists :D

I just connected to this from Brado's remix. This is awesome. The groove is very infectious. I love what you did. It's like electro and hip hop turned themselves inside out and back again. Almost early timbaland with missy but just freaking eclectic and all your own style. I have to fav this one and I think you really have hit on something here.

definitely different Modex...and thats usually a good thing...I would pull the snare sound in that outro part back just a bit...see a few comments on the bass & kick..I think the kick is on the money but maybe scoop out a bit around 200 hz on the bass & bump it up at 80 hz or so & pull it back a couple of dBs....overall its a creative approach...good for you...ed

I'd be happy to try to mixing it for you if you want :D I love that idea. Your vocal is so fresh and new and I like that a lot. Song seems to be clipping a bit though. But it sounds good. All I'd need are the stems, if youre interested.

Make the tempo a bit faster, add some more perc and this would make a killer Miami Bass style electro track.

Everything is fresh, keep in mind. The only thing that is rather worth mentioning that caught my attention is the volume level of the kicks. Otherwise, I cannot see another thing worth pointing out. I'm really digging this style. It's different from other's, and that makes this one of a kind.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I made the kicks a bit too loud. I think I'll go and mess with the levels and try to put it at a decent amount. Thanks for all of the help, my friend!

man at first i was like "what is this" it sounded different and weird. but not bad, and it grew on me, now I'm playing it pretty loud, sounds great and the bass line is wide and fat.

Hey Modnex! Really digging and liking this idea. Really tight construction. The kick and bass, as well as the vocals don't seem balanced, but everything else is flowing nice. The vocal rap is really creative. Where is it from?

Thanks Golden! I knew something seemed off, still trying to figure out what to add to make this song better. The vocals were made by me, it was just a basic idea I had came up with. As for the balancing, I can see what you mean. Do you have any ideas what I can do to make it sound more smooth? I normally don't work with vocals, so I'm new to this.

Very nice sound.
There seems to be a very long intro and one which I was happy to sit and listen to for a lot longer.
I'm feeling hot tired sweaty with a large fan beside me and one under my desk helping keep the pc area cool and this sound seemed so suitable.
Hot nights ... have you thought about downloading one of Oceans pellas for this?

yes that's what it's good for- piano
even though the overall effect is good,some interludes (like edm chords and synths) could be used.

This is a real cool tune...
Love the dynamic Melody, it has motion with a stepping
out on the town style and feel to it...

Voice for sure would take this up stairs, with something cool
to say...But I also hear other things that would work, to help
lock it down...Never the less flavour filled track...
